"There has been a dire situation somewhere in Mobius. We don't know exactly where it happens, but it's really important. A mysterious thief is roaming around stealing presents and ruining Christmas. I really need your help in searching for him. If we can't do it on time, there'll be no more future for us. Please, bear with me and the Freedom Fighters, for the thief is on the run."

Those were the words Sally had informed the teams. Right now, the only ones available in the search are the Chaotix, Destinee, Team Dark, Knuckles, Gemerl, Chocola and obviously the Freedom Fighters.

Let's take a look at each team when it comes to their quest to find the mysterious thief.

In the sewers, the Chaotix were still looking cautiously for the mysterious thief. At the same time, they (especially Vector and Charmy) made theories about who he is and why he's going to steal Christmas.

"Hmm, let's see," Vector said, putting his hand on his chin with his right hand holding his right elbow. "If that mysterious thief has a reason, it could be because he was forgotten."

"If he's forgotten, then it must be someone we haven't met! But I'm sure it could be Eggman!" said Charmy.

"Then, exactly how do we know if Eggman's behind this?" asked Espio.

"I don't know," Charmy simply answered.

Groans and sighs were heard from Espio and Destinee. Espio did facepalm while Destinee just closed her eyes and groaned in low frustration.

Vector turned to Espio and Destinee as they all came to a stop,"How 'bout you two? Who do you think the mysterious thief is?"

"You're making good theories, but we cannot clear a name about who he is and why he's stealing Christmas," said Espio.

Destinee turned to Vector,"Espio's right. We can't be detectives if we jump to conclusions, but I have a theory. Whoever is the mysterious thief must come from the future as we all heard Aleyah explaining a little bit about him. We all don't know for sure though, but all that matters is that we have to look for the mysterious thief, report to Silver and Aleyah and ask if he's the one we're looking for and let them handle the rest. If you still want to know who the mysterious thief is, you can watch the battle carefully from the distance as long as it's not too wierd for them."

The other three were speechless as they heard Destinee's theory. A while later, Espio broke the silence,"Okay. Let's all search for him. It is our only option."

And they all went to look for him. Carefully.

With Team Heroes, Sonic ran up to super speed while Tails and Knuckles tried to keep up with him. Tails by flying while lifting Knuckles to try to find Sonic. Eventually, he stopped and Tails brought Knuckles down on Sonic's left. Tails flew his way down to the snowy ground. On Sonic's other side.

After a few moments of breathing, Tails turned to his best friend. "Sonic, we're trying to find you, but you're too fast to catch up."

Sonic rubbed his nose with his left index finger and his right hand was on his hips telling them,"Chill out, bud. You know we're all looking for the mysterious thief."

"And we all have to work together to find him," said Tails.

He chuckled. "Right. Like always."

In a few seconds, right in the corner of his eye, Knuckles spotted a shadowy figure behind the building on his front-left.

"Guys, there's something over there," he said pointing to a shadowy figure. The other two turned to the direction Knuckles was pointing at.

"It could be the mysterious thief Silver, Aleyah, Gold, Schlemmer and Blaze were talking about," said Knuckles.

"If it's really the mysterious thief, maybe we should catch up with him," said Tails.

Just then, what they thought was a mysterious thief disappeared. "Hey! Get back here!" Knuckles yelled out as he chased after the thief.

Sonic and Tails looked at each other, mostly for confirmation. Sonic shrugged before telling his two-tailed buddy, "Well, now that we found the thief, let's catch him and see if it's really him, then we'll report to Silver and Aleyah."

Tails nodded as they both chased him down with Knuckles. Eventually, the trio lost him.

In the United Federation, Rouge was flying up above, seeking for the thief from the rooftops. Right on the rooftops was Shadow the Hedgehog. He's using his hover shoes to search the thief from his surroundings. Omega is also searching, but through the streets of United Federation.

While Rouge was seeking for the thief, she found herself smirking. Where could you be, mysterious thief? she thought.

Once she saw Shadow passing by her, she called out to him questionably, "Have you found any trace, Shadow?!"

"Not yet," he simply answered. "You?"

"Neither have I, hon."

After a few paces and hops, they suddenly heard a familiar robotic voice.

"Calling all m-m-members of Te-e-eam D-Dark!"

They looked over to where a sound was heard,"Omega?!"

"What's going on?" asked Shadow.

"I don't know, Shadow, but we better check him out," said Rouge.

With that being said, the two headed to where the robotic sound came from. Soon, they arrived in the small alleyway. Gasps of horror escaped their mouths. Right before them was Omega getting electrocuted by the same figure with a black hood. Then, all the power from Omega went off.

"Could that be the mysterious thief?" asked Shadow.

"I don't know, but in my opinion, it could be him," said Rouge.

Shadow was the first to notice the same figure taking the sack-like bag and ran away. He then, turned to Rouge.

"It is the mysterious thief. Let's warn Silver and Aleyah."

"Okay, hon. Not only that, but we also have to check how Omega is doing," said Rouge.

It took Shadow a few moments before nodding in response. With that, the two checked on Omega. From top to bottom. Whether through a scanner or not. After that, they attempted to get Omega back online. Well, Rouge was mostly doing her job.

The others were searching for the mysterious thief in every village and location they could find. Some - especially the royals in the Kingdom of Acorn - were staying in Mobotropolis to search for the mysterious thief from top to bottom.

Meanwhile, with Silver, Aleyah, Gold, Schlemmer and Blaze...

The quintet was still tracking down the mysterious thief in the middle of Central City. While they're walking, something suddenly caught Silver's eye.

At the window of the clothing store, there stood a sunset orange sparkly dress that laid down until a person's legs. Silver's lips stretched out a big smile as he knew his secret crush will love it and that it will make her super happy.

That's right! He's had a crush on Aleyah ever since he first met her on her and Runa's birthday party and the first thing that caught his attention was her enthusiasm on meeting him and the whole gang. You might guess that it explains the time when he gave her a bouquet of flowers for his present to her.

This dress was something Aleyah showed him through a picture during the tour of his time. He was suddenly brought back to reality when he heard Gold's voice running in his head. Ooh, you want that dress for her?

Silver immediately turned to Gold in embarrassment. "Gold!"

In the background, Gold and the others were seen covering their mouths while trying to prevent themselves from snickering and giggling teasingly. Unfortunately, Aleyah didn't know what was going on since Gold's thoughts were running directly in Silver's head, but she snickered along with her and Schlemmer. After a few moments, Silver suddenly heard his communicator was beeping, "Hey, Silver!"

Silver turned on the communicator. Then, Sonic's face appeared on the screen.

"Y-Yeah, I'm here! What's wrong?" he asked him.

"Tails, Knuckles and I found the mysterious thief and..." answered Sonic. "We tried to catch him but... we lost him."

"It's okay, Sonic! Just keep looking."

Just as he was about to hang up...

"*screech* Silver? Silver, do you read me?"

Silver turned on his communicator again. This time, it was Rouge appearing on the screen.

"We heard you loud and clear, Rouge!" said Silver through his communicator.

"Is something wrong?" asked Aleyah walking her way towards Silver.

"We found him. The mysterious thief. He electrocuted Omega," she answered.

They all gasped at what they heard. You can see the others listening to their conversation.

"So what happened to Omega? How is he?" asked Silver.

"Shadow and I are taking care of him. I was about to call you when Omega mentioned that he had tracked the thief himself and informed us on where he is," Rouge explained.

"Where?!" he and Aleyah asked at the same time.

"He's heading for Central City. Get ready to do the rest!"

"That's where we are right now, but either way, we'll be ready for it!" said Aleyah determinedly.

"Okay. Be careful," said Rouge as they both hung up.

Silver turned away to an open space and looked down. He was trying to figure out who the mysterious thief was. Then, thinking of Aleyah's, Gold's and Schlemmer's first encounter with him, he somehow went into deep thought. He knew they mentioned something about the thief's voice being raspy. But how raspy is that voice? The others turned to him in concern.

"What's wrong, Silver?" asked Blaze.

"It looks like you've been in ze deep thought lately," said Schlemmer.

"Yeah. Rouge informed us that the mysterious thief is coming here, so we have to be prepared for it!" said Aleyah, then she felt sympathy for him as she wondered what's wrong with him. "Silver?" she asked in concern.

"Are you okay?" Gold asked Silver in concern.

A few moments later, Silver looked up and answered, "Yeah, I'm fine." Then, he turned to his gang. "I'm still trying to figure out who the mysterious thief is." Then he turned forward to where his body faces. "But either way, we'll be ready for it!"

With that, they headed off to prepare to face the mysterious thief.
