"Hey, Sonic! Bet ya can't catch me!" Tails shouted, running away from me. I grinned.

"Oh yes I can!" I exclaimed, running to Tails at my Super Sonic Speed. I accidentally ran into him and we both fell on the ground, laughing.

"Come on kids, time for supper." My mom, Bernadette called, opening our house door. Tails was staying for a sleepover.

"Race ya!" I challenged Tails. Then I ran inside.

"Hey, no fair!" Tails shouted, running after me. "You have Super Sonic Speed! You'll always win!"

"That's the point!" I called, already cleaned up for supper. I looked out the window, watching Tails from my room that was upstairs. Then I saw a purple wolf. "Why does that wolf seem so familiar..?" I asked. I went downstairs into the kitchen and looked out the window, but the wolf was gone. I went outside.

"Sonic, supper's ready." My mom told me. Then I ran, looking for the wolf. I suddenly remembered the wolf, the girl. The wolf was Keanna! That Egg guy took us!

"Hey, wolf come back!" I shouted to the purple wolf as I saw her, just entering the woods. The wolf ignored me. "Keanna..?" I asked. The wolf looked at me. Next thing I knew, the wolf was on me, pinning me to the ground and licking my face. I laughed, happy to have my friend back. Then I noticed bruises all over her and I noticed that she was limping. "What happened to you..?" I asked. She turned into a human. She was bleeding a lot and she had bruises and cuts all over her. Her left leg was red and swollen.

"It-it's nothing." She told me. I stood up and helped her stand up. I wrapped my arm around her and she wrapped her arm around me. Then we headed for my house. I smiled, looking at her. She was hurt, but it was nice to see that she was ok. Overall, at least.
