Rouge's P.O.V (Finally!)

I had recently gotten back from a G.U.N mission and collapsed on my bed. I slept like a baby. (Ah, see what I did there? Shadow's kinda a baby and- I'm sorry, I'm not funny. XD)

The next morning, I woke up at 10:00 PM. Well, seems like I've gotten some well-deserved rest. Shadow usually would've helped me out with a G.U.N mission, but he wasn't there. He won't answer his communicator. Just so I could save his sorry ass, I called out sick for him. He got 3 weeks off. I deserve a thank you.

I was about to pour myself cereal before I got a call from Sonic. Huh? What does Blue want at 10:00 AM? I answered. "Hello?" "Rouge, can you come over? I need to tell you something. Well- more like show you. Just come over, ok? You won't believe it till you see it." He sounds nervous... "Ok, I'll be there soon, Blue." "Thanks, Rouge." "Bye, Hun~" I hung up. Sonic's never nervous...

After eating breakfast, I brushed my hair quickly, since I didn't bother to before, and rushed over to Sonic's house, thinking something was wrong. What's wrong with Sonic? He's never nervous. Did something happen? Did something happen to Shadow?! Yes, I care about my best friend, big whoop to those in the comments. (Yes! Hooter girl breaks the fourth wall! 😩)

I arrive at Sonic's front door and knock a few times. The hedgehog opens the door carefully. "Hey, Rouge..." "Sonic... um- what's wrong?" "Can you come inside, please?" I nod and walk inside. "Can you sit down for me?" Sonic gestures to the couch. "Ok..?" I was really confused, but did as asked and sat down. 

Sonic then walks in front of me. "So... what I'm about to show you is really shocking... and I don't want you to freak out, ok?" What's he prepping me for? "Ok... I won't." I reassure. Sonic nods. "Shadow! You can come out!" What?! Shadow's here?! My eyes widened as a shy toddler walks over, looking exactly like Shadow. 

I froze from the shock. "Shadow?!" "Hi, Rouge..." He says in a shameful tone. I grabbed the small hedgehog and hugged him. Shadow froze. "Rouge..? Are you ok, or-?" Sonic asks. "The poor thing... what's wrong, hun? Why do you sound so sad..?" I hold Shadow in my lap while stroking his quills. He blushes.

Shadow looks up at me with wide eyes, blushing a little more. "I- Um-" What's wrong with him?

Shadow's P.O.V (Ugh, again?!! 🙄)

Since when is Rouge so... so... "Earth to Shadow? Helloooo?~" Sonic brings me back to reality with his sing-song tone. "Hm?" I say in confusion. "Shadow, are you ok?" No, I'm not. "Yeah, I'm fine." (Guys, I googled this, it's common for little kids to develop crushes on older adults! But, I'm telling you now, I do NOT ship Shadouge! There will be NO Shadouge in the book!)

Sonic's P.O.V (Yes, lot's of P.O.V switches, get ready!)

What's up with Shadow? He's looking at Rouge differently. The guy's making me worried. I hope he's ok...

Shadow's P.O.V (Yep! We're back here!)

I stared up at Rouge for a while. It's my time to shine! Oh, shut up... Make me. I mentally roll my eyes as the voice in my head starts to control my body...

???'s P.O.V

This child deserves the hell that's coming to him. I'll embarrass him till the time comes to kill his soul off and take his body for my own! You know I can hear you, right? This isn't a one way system. Crap... (This is Lil' Shadz in the underline when it's the mystery guy's P.O.V, just to clarify.)

Well, anyways... "Hun, you doin' alright?" Rouge asks. "Yes, I'm fine, Rouge... did you do something with your hair, today? It looks amazing. At least, better than usual, that is." I answer for that brat. Hey! I'm not a brat! Quiet, you!

Rouge's P.O.V

Yeah... this isn't Shadow. Shadow would never make an attempt at flirting with me. Something's up.

Sonic's P.O.V (Hey, I warned you about all the P.O.V switches. 🤷)

Since when does Shadow flirt with Rouge? Isn't it usually the other way around? What's up with him?

Shadow's P.O.V

IS THIS BITCH SERIOUSLY MAKING ME FLIRT WITH ROUGE?! YOU ASSHOLE! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! Hehe. I can't BELIEVE this. I hate you...

I am stuck watching as my body slips out of my control into his. If only I could tell them... warn them. But I can't.

Narrator's P.O.V

Hey! Narrator here! Call me "Gow". That is G-O-W, pronounced as "go". Yes, it's confusing, I know. The narrator may vary from time to time, so be prepared! Now, on with the story!

Shadow was trying to regain control of his body, but it hurt him every time he did. His head hurt, his arms hurt, his legs and back. He was in pain. He tried to resist, but he couldn't. He just gave up and let the monster take control...

The mystery being controls Shadow's small body speaks for him. "Is there something wrong, Rouge?" He asks with a respectful tone. "Uh- ...no. No, Shadow."

"Everything is just fine."

(Me: YES! I DID IT! I WROTE STUFF! Hey everyone! I finally got a chapter done! Oh, and a special thanks to Gow! Our guest narrator for today!
Gow: Oh, no problem! It was nice to be of service.
Lil' Shadz: Rouge is finally here, but the whole meeting got ruined by the dumb voice in my head...
Sonic: Hey, it's ok! We'll be able to have a normal conversation with someone in the next chapter, right?
Me: Well...
Sonic: Riiight..?
Me: Ok, thanks, bye!
