Tails' P.O.V

I sigh. "Guys, I'm telling you, with Shadow like that, he's just stressed and needs rest. He didn't MEAN to yell at us." I try to explain, understanding why my brother-like friend had done what he did. "He STILL could've been NICER." Amy huffs. I sigh again.

I tried to explain once again. "He's stressed, Amy. People who are stressed can't THINK straight. He PROBABLY needs rest." Amy sighs. "Fine..." "Tails is right, hun." Rouge jumps in. "He needs time to think." "I agree with Amy. He's been stressed before and has NEVER been so hostile with us." Knuckles argues.

Suddenly, a blue blur runs by, almost passing us. Well- it DID pass us. By ten feet. Then it circled back. Sonic! "Guys! I've been looking for you." "For what, so you can be rude again?" Amy humphed.

Sonic sighed. "Look, I'm really sorry, guys. I tried to apologize before, but you wouldn't LET me. It's just- I haven't been getting much sleep lately with Shadow, and-" Amy cuts him off. "Then why didn't you just SAY so?!" Sonic facepalms.

Sonic rolls his eyes. "Amy, didn't I just say that you wouldn't let me speak? How COULD I say so?" "Oh... right..." Amy chuckles nervously. "Sorry, Sonic..." Sonic sighs again. "It's alright, Ames..." Knuckles pats Sonic's back. "It's alright, Sonic... we get it." "Yeah, blue... Tails explained how you're just stressed and stuff..." Rouge adds on. "He... he did?" He looks at me shocked.

Sonic smiled. "Thanks, lil' bro." He ruffled my fur and I chuckled. "You're welcome, big bro." I said, fixing my hair.

"Sooo... I know you guys don't exactly like Shadow... but could ya help me out with him? At least one of you?" Sonic asks. "Well, I could try to make a machine to fix him... it could take a while, though." I offer. "Fine by me." Sonic replies. "Well, I have to go to the Master Emerald and find someone ELSE that could fill in his shift, sooo... I'll be doing that for a while." Knuckles excuses himself.

"Well... I'M always free, Sonikku!" Amy offers. "It'll have to be her, Blue. I have to make an excuse with G.U.N as to why Shadow can't come into work and I have to do HIS work." Sonic nods to Rouge. "Got it. C'mon, Ames."

The two hedgehogs went off.
