It has been at least three months since the war ended. Gadget had returned one month after the end of the war to reveal that infinite had been reformed. Two months after that everyone started to trust infinite, though he prefers to go by Zero now.

Everyone agreed that they needed a vacation and tails suggested going to the beach. Everyone thought that that was a great idea until Amy suggested one particular beach.

(Amy) Hey, what if we all go to Emerald Coast?

Sonic froze at the mention of Emerald Coast. What nobody knew was the fact that Emerald Coast was the speedy blue hedgehog's home. Sonic knew that it was just a risk at his greatest secret being revealed. Sonic knew that the longer he was there the more likely the sea would call to him. This wouldn't just put him in danger but it would also put his friends and family in danger... and he didn't want to do that.

Sonic tried to convince them to pick another beach at the least but it was too late everyone had made their decision. That night everyone went to pack their bags to prepare for the next day.

The next day everyone got in the vehicle so they could go to Emerald Coast. Tails and the girls sat in the very back, shadow took the driver seat and sonic took the passenger seat, and then everybody else sat in the center.

Once they got to the beach they went to the little beach house that they would be staying at and there were three rooms. The girls got the bedroom downstairs while the boys split into two groups to take the two bedrooms upstairs.

Sonic, Shadow and Silver a.k.a. team triple S took one of the bedrooms and Knuckles, Tales, Gadget and Zero took the other. That night sonic crossed his fingers in hopes that he would not get caught or discovered.
