Last Time on Sonic Railgun.........

"We are. But Eggman can throw as many robots as he want to at me but I will still smash them to pieces." Said Sonic with a cocky smile.

"Then I guess we will have to help you all in your search. If Eggman is involved with this, then the Freedom Fighters are as well." Said Sally.

"But.... I..." Said Alan.

"Word of advice kid, Sally can be quite Ze stubborn Mobian sometimes." Said Antoine.

"True." Said Bunnie.

"Oh....... fine." Said Alan.

"It will be fine Alan. We can handle whatever Eggman throws at me or us." Said Sonic with a smile.

"I guess." Said Alan.

"Then it is settled. We are going to find the remaining Chaos Emeralds and stop Eggman from getting them." Said Sally. "Nicole, I want you to search the internet if you can find anything Chaos Emerald related."

"You got it Sally." Said Nicole as she place down the small computer on the table and digitize herself back into the digital world.

"Whoa......" Said Alan and Tails.

"And what will the rest of us do?" asked Mikoto.

"You all will take a rest in the sleeping rooms we have on the Sky Patrol." Said Sally. "You will need the rest for the upcoming battles against Eggman."

"Okay." Said Tails.

"But don't keep us too well rested. I am always ready to beat Eggman no matter what robots he builds. Like how I beat him back on the beach." Said Sonic with a smirk on his face.

With Eggman............

"That fool Sonic thinks he beat me again back at the beach. But that blue fool is wrong." Said Eggman as he stands before something in his secret base. The thing that Eggman is looking at begins to move.

"Oh Hohoho! Now that my ultimate masterpiece is finished. Sonic is finally going to meet his match! Muwahaha!" Said Eggman

The thing begins to move. It detached itself from the cables and landed on the metal floor in a cool pose. It slowly begins to get back up. It eyes begins to glow. Its eyes reveal it is bright red.

(For those who think whos eyes those belong to in the picture below, I beg you to not spill it in the comments please.)

"Oh hohoho! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!!" Eggman laughed out loud so much that his voice could be heard everywhere in his secret base.

Sonic and his friends has come aboard the Sky Patrol. From their, they have meet the other members of the Freedom Fighters, and meeting Cream the Rabbit and Cheese again. Sonic and his friends explain to them for their reasons for getting involved in this fight against Eggman and his robot empire. At the same time, Eggman has created a new kind of robot that he believes will be the end for Sonic. Who is the robot that Eggman has created?

On the Sky Patrol....Next Day..........

In the skies above, the Sky Patrol continues to fly in the sky. It was the next day of Mobius. Sonic and his friends took a well deserve rest in the sleeping quarters.

Alan slowly opened up his eyes. Alan yawned as he sits straight up. He look to see that he was sleeping on a bed in the sleeping quarters of this aircraft.

"Oh that is right....... We are on the Freedom Fighters flying base." Said Alan as he remembers where he is at the moment.

After getting out of the bed and taking a quick shower and putting on his clothes back on, he walked through the hallways to find where the others are. 

He opened up a door to find they are in the meeting room. With Sonic talking about his time on Earth and his battle against Esper Killer.

"...And that is how I beat Esper Killer." Said Sonic as he finished talking about his time on Earth.

"I can't believe that their was someone on Earth that wanted to kill people that had powers." Said Tails as he was worried after hearing that story.

"And why are we just hearing about it now?" Asked Amy.

"Oh relax about it Amy. That dude is behind bars. Along with his nation size army." Said Alan as he took a seat in one of the available chairs.

"Oh good morning Alan." Said Mikoto.

"Good morning." Said Alan. "So even if you are just hearing about a bad guy back on planet Earth, it is no big deal anymore."

"See? Alan here believes it is no big deal. Besides, I got a lot more of stories to tell when I have more adventures in the future." Said Sonic.

"True." Said Alan.

"Yeah and especially not ones that go: 'Hey guys! Wanna hear about the time I got played like a chump!? Derp!'" Said Sonic as he made a goofy face with his tongue sticking out.

That little goofy face has made everyone giggle and laughing a little bit. "I would enjoy hearing zose stories in the future." Said Antoine.

"Hehe.... Oh me too." Said Rotor.

"Shush. Be nice." Said Bunnie as she playfully slapped Antoine on his shoulder but also still laughing as well.

"Hehe. Another time perhaps. Right now, Nicole has found the location of another Chaos Emerald. It is in Empire City." Said Sally.

"Empire...... City?" asked Alan.

Nicole digitizes herself above Alan. She motion her hands in the air to pop out some hologram screens.

"Yes..... however..... I was able to find it because..... well...... The person that has the next Chaos Emerald is someone we don't exactly like." Said Nicole.

"Oh.... you mean her." Said Amy as she knows who Nicole is talking about.

"Huh?" Asked Sonic as he is confused at the moment.

"Her? Who is her?" Asked Knuckles.

"Breezie The Hedgehog. A spy that used to work for Eggman. Now she is the manager and runs a very large business. The Breeze Media." Said Sally.

"Let me guess...... she owns a very large casino?" asked Mikoto.

"Yep. Casino Park." Said Nicole.

"I have heard of her. She is really sneak sometimes in her line of business." Said Tails.

"Please tell me Nicole you were at least find a way to get that Chaos Emerald?" Asked Alan.

"Well...." Said Nicole as she had a nervous tone.

"Nicole?" asked Sally.

"Breezie is hosting a special fighting tournament. The winner gets the Chaos Emerald. And the fighters are........ The Freedom Fighters VS a person that works for Eggman." Said Nicole.

"What!?" asked everyone.

"Who in their right minds would sign us up for that?" asked Mikoto.

"Um....." Said Nicole. "Breezie did."

"*Sigh* I should have known. Well...... we can't do anything about it. We will have go to that place." Said Sally.

"Sally, can't you use some of your family treasure to buy that Chaos Emerald from Breezie?" asked Bunnie.

"Huh?" Asked Alan.

"Sally here is a princess from the Kingdom of Acorn. Her father still is in charge of the kingdom but Sally plans to become the next ruler to the throne in the future." Said Rotor.

"Whoa..... I didn't know...." said Alan.

"So the reason Breezie won't accept a part of your family treasure is because Breezie wants us to do her little game to earn it?" asked Mikoto.

"Yes........ Trust me. I would have bought that Chaos Emerald from Breezie by now but knowing Breezie as well as I do, she won't sell it. We will have to earn it from her on her terms." Said Sally.

"I see." Said Knuckles.

"Nicole. Set a course to Empire City." Said Sally.

"Right away Sally!" Said Nicole as she begins to pilot the Sky Patrol to Empire City.

"Wait. Does that mean?" asked Rotor.

"Yep. All members of the Freedom Fighters, as well as out new friends will be entering into that tournament." Said Sally.

"Does that mean Nicole as well?" asked Alan.

"Of course. I can enter as well. As long I can stay like this in the real world, I can enter as well." Said Nicole.

"I see." Said Alan.

"Well then. I can't wait to get there and all of us win that Chaos Emerald." Said Sonic with a happy face.

Empire City.............

The Sky Patrol exited from the clouds above. It begin to enter a city that almost looks like New York City.

The Sky Patrol begin to slowly landed in on the streets where there tons of people cheering for them. The aircraft landed infront of a large building that has a sign that says Casino Park.

The moment the ramp extended from the Sky Patrol to the road and the heroes walked out of the aircraft, all the people and Mobians waiting for them were cheering and were happy very loud.

"Wow....... That is a lot of people." Said Alan.

"I didn't expect to get a massive crowd like this." Said Sonic.

"Ahhhhh....... Here they are everyone. The heroes of today! The Freedom Fighters!" Said a unfamiliar female voice. Well, familiar to the Freedom Fighters but unfamiliar to Sonic, Alan, and Mikoto and Tails.

The group looked forward to see who was talking to them. It was a female hedgehog Mobian that has green quills and is wearing a red suit. Breeze the Hedgehog.

"Breezie......" Said Sally.

"Don't need to be acting like that Sally. We are all friends here." Said Breezie.

"Friends?! Since when did we....?" asked Sally but she was stopped by Sonic.

"So your Breezie huh? Got to say, it is hard to see you as a former member for Eggman." said Sonic.

"Hehe.... I get that a lot. Even though I run this Casino Park, I have some of Eggman former robots helping keeping the place secure from unwanted fights." Said Breezie.

She is right about that. A few Egg Pawns having a suit on, were keeping the crowd at bay from rushing over to the heroes.

"Now come on. The special tournament is going to start." Said Breezie as she begins to walk into the building.

As they walked into the building, they saw tons of arcade machines. Something similar to casino games as well. Their are a few Badniks in the air, acting as security to keep an eye out for trouble.

"Whoa........" Said Alan and Sonic as they were amazed of how clean and how many arcade games their are.

"So how did you got the Chaos Emerald Breezie? And by that, I mean a glowing gemstone." Said Mikoto.

"I remember it like yesterday. I was doing some paper work when my boys brought me a glowing gemstone. And at the same day, Eggman called me to hand over the Chaos Emerald. And I told him if he wants, he will have to earn it in a fight." Said Breezie.

"And let me guess. He did." Said Mikoto.

"Yep. He said he will send one of his best members of his little empire to fight for him. And he is the one that I should have the Freedom Fighters join in as well." Said Breezie.

"Nicole. Remind me to give Eggman a punch in his nose for suggesting something like that." said Mikoto.

"Roger." Said Nicole.

"Why would Eggman send only one fighter to fight all of us?" asked Tails.

"Don't know. The doctor was sure that his best fighter will win the Chaos Emerald and beat you all." Said Breezie.

"Well, I like to see this fighter try." said Sonic.

"Famous last words." Said Breezie.

Breezie stands infront of a large door. She pushed them open. IN the next room, it was a large room that has a extremely large fighting ring. And their are tons of cameras floating in the air with special technology in them.

"Don't keep them waiting." Said Breezie.

All the members of the Freedom Fighters and as well as Sonic, Mikoto, Alan and Tails, slowly walked to the fighting ring. They got into the fighting ring just as the cameras begins to turn on and begins to broadcast live.

Then someone from the other side of the ring appears. The mysterious fighter has a green cloak on that is hiding his appearance. The only thin you can see underneath the hood part of the cloak, is his glowing red eyes.

"So that is the guy that is going to fight? Why would Eggman send only one fighter?" asked Alan.

"I don't know. But knowing Eggman for a while now, I suspect something strange about that fighter." Said Mikoto.

The fighter just stands there. Just staring at his fighters that he will be fighting soon. But he was staring at Sonic the most for some unknown reason.

"You know.... for unknown reason but I think that guy is staring at Mr. Sonic the most." Said Cream.

"I think you are right Cream but why is the question here." Said Mikoto as she noticed it too.

"Hey dude! Why are you focus on Sonic the most?" asked Alan.

The mysterious fighter slowly moved his eye sight to Alan to stare at him. After a few seconds, he shifted his eye sight back at Sonic.

"You know, before this fight starts, I would at least want to know what you look like before beating you into next week." Said Sonic as he stretches his arms. He was hoping that might get a reaction out of the mysterious fighter.

"Very well." Said the mysterious fighter as he finally spoke. His voice sounded strange for some reason.

The mysterious fighter grabbed a edge of his cloak and throw it away. From there, his true appearance was revealed. Sonic and the others gasped of who or what it is that is fighting them. 

"What the.........!?" asked Alan.

"What the heck?" asked Bunnie

"Am I seeing things?" asked Mikoto.

"I didn't see this coming!" Said Nicole.

"Impossible!" Said Tails.

"Chao Chao!" Said Cheese.

"But... but that guy...." Said Amy.

"He is not a Mobian or human?" asked Antoine

"He is a robot!?" asked Rotor.

"And he kind looks like......." Said Cream.

"Like..... Like... Sonic!" Said Sally.

It was a robot but not a ordinary robot. This robot almost looks like a certain Mobian. The robot almost looks like.... Sonic! It metal structure is made up of a very strong metal alloy. It has red glowing eyes. It is Metal Sonic!

"What's the matter Sonic, my loathsome copy? Scared to fight me now?" asked Metal Sonic as his voice sounds robotic.

"Who are you?" asked Sonic as he wanted some answers.

"I am Metal Sonic. I am your better self. And I will prove it to you by fighting you and your friends in this special fight for that Chaos Emerald." Said Metal Sonic as he gets into a fighting stance.

Nicole was able to find another Chaos Emerald. The sad thing is, it is in the hands of Breezie. The only way to earn it, was to fight for it in a special one round tournament, the Freedom Fighters vs Eggman Empire. With no choice, they entered into it. When they found out who their foe they will be fighting, it is a robot version of Sonic! Can they figure out how to beat Metal Sonic and get that Chaos Emerald?
