Last Time on Sonic Railgun..........

"Who is really innocent or is not? There are tons of Esper organizations in this city that work with the dark side of this city. People who can't be touch by any law enforcers." Said Esper Killer. "Besides, you just might be like those Espers. You can' control your powers either."

"What are you talking about? I am doing just fine with my speed thank you." Said Sonic.

"Ahh.... but you always afraid right? afraid that even if you lost control of your powers, you might hurt someone. And you will be unable to bear the guilt of what you did and you will be alone forever...." Said Esper Killer.

"N-No...." Said Sonic as he was trying to not let his words get to him.

"Deep down, you know this but you don't want to accept it." Said Esper Killer.

"DO YOU ACCEPT THIS HORN FACE!?" asked a female voice. A large pile of metal beams was tossed at Esper Killer that pinned him up against a building.

Sonic looked behind him to see Mikoto walking to him. "What are you doing here? And how did you get here so quickly?" asked Sonic.

"I asked Kuroko to bring me here. She can teleport herself and anyone else or thing within a certain range. She and any other members of Judgment are helping the citizens evacuate from this district." Said Mikoto.

The metal beams suddenly exploded and Esper Killer walked out of the smoke explosion's. "Ahh... if it isn't the famous third rank Level 5 Esper Mikoto Misaka, also known as Railgun." Said Esper Killer.

"Careful, that guy is the leader of the Anti-Espers." Said Sonic.

"So you are the head honcho of Anti-Esper huh? So why don't you do just the right thing and surrender?" asked Mikoto as her hair bangs begin to spark. "Before you end up as a crispy mess."

"Ahh..... the inexperience. Thinking they can outsmart the more experience ones." Said Esper Killer. "You think one little evacuation in one district is going to make a difference?"

"What are you saying?" Asked Mikoto.

"No where in Academy City is safe right now." Said Esper as he snaps his fingers. Suddenly, in each ever district in Academy City, large explosions where heard everywhere. When the smoke cleared, their was a massive hole in each school district in Academy City.

Their was a sound coming from each hole. what came out of it was a futuristic helicopters.

At the bottom of each helicopters was ropes carrying the futuristic tanks the Anti-Espers have. The moment the tanks touched the streets, the ropes detached and the tanks begin to move through out the streets. As for the helicopters, they were striking at buildings and any people from the air. In just five minutes, their was tons of smoke and destruction happening everywhere in Academy City.

"What have you done!?" asked a angry Mikoto.

"I just started the final phase of my plan. The end of Academy City has begun!" Said Esper Killer as he suddenly begins to float in the air.

"As much as I like to continue our little game, I must be going now. See you latter Sonic and Railgun! HAHAHAHA!!!" Said Esper Killer as he begins to fly away.

Mikoto let out a angry growl as she watched the monster fly away. Sonic looked angry as watched the person responsible for all this destruction in the city.

Sonic encounter Esper Killer for the first time. Sonic realized that Esper Killer plan was to wipe out all Esper of the face of the planet and destroy Academy City. Sonic is struggling to not let Esper Killer words get to him. Mikoto came just in time to get Esper Killer to stop creating doubt in Sonic. Esper Killer as launched his final phase onto Academy City. Will the city make through it or be burned to the ground?

With Sonic and Mikoto..........

The city is in chaos. The Anti-Esper has begun to attack the city with everything they got. Both Sonic and Mikoto can hear the sounds of gun fire and explosions across the entire city.

"This is bad....." Said Sonic.

"No joke about it. This is a nation army attack! It was hard to believe that Anti-Esper would do something like this. And it was all because of one person that changed everything." Said Mikoto.

"Esper Killer did say that he was doing all of this just to wipe out all Espers and this city off the face of the Earth." Said Sonic.

"What do we do Sonic?" asked Mikoto.

"I don't know...... I don't know how to stop all of this. I am fast but, how can I save everyone, stop the organization army and take down their leader at the same time? " asked Sonic.

"We.... we will have to think of something!" Said Mikoto.

"Yeah..... but I just don't get it. Is Esper Killer really doing what the Anti-Espers say they are doing or is that just a front to hide the fact he just wants to get revenge on Espers." asked Sonic.

"Who knows really? It could be both for all we know. I just can't believe their were people out their that had so much anger and negative emotions for Espers..... How could I have not noticed?" asked Mikoto.

"Its not your fault. No one even knew this could happen?" Said Sonic.

"And yet........ I couldn't see what my brother was going through until he told me during that first argument we had......." Said Mikoto with a sad look on her face.

"Hey.... its not your fault. He just didn't want to burned you with his problems." Said Sonic.

"I know that.......... I felt like that I failed at being the big sister I was suppose to be. I was suppose to protect him and help him from dangerous things. I should have noticed that he was going through a lot but I didn't......." Said Mikoto.

"Hey..... it is not your fault Mikoto." Said Sonic. "No one can predict how things go but there is one thing you gotta keep remembering."

"And what's that?" asked Mikoto.

"No matter what, you just keep moving forward and everything will turn out alright." Said Sonic with a smile on his face.

Mikoto smiled happily from that. "Thanks Sonic." Said Mikoto.

"Your welcome Mikoto." Said Sonic

Suddenly something came flying through the air catching the attention of Sonic and Mikoto. It lands right infront of Mikoto and Sonic. It was a another Exo suit but a little bit more upgraded, has some wings on its back and has a futuristic sub machine gun in its hands.

"Um..... that's new." Said Sonic as he backs up slowly.

"Yeah...... extremely new. I don't remember seeing the Anti-Espers having one of these before." Said Mikoto as she was sweating nervously.

Inside the Exo suit...........

"HAHA! I am having our foes nervous leader. With your order sir, I will crush them like the ants they really are!" Said the Anti-Esper soldier as he was talking to his leader through the comms inside of the Exo suit.

"Wait a minute soldier. Patch me in first." Order Esper Killer. The soldier did as he instructed.

Outside of the Exo Suit.............

"Hello Sonic and Railgun." Said Esper Killer through the speakers of the Exo Suit.

"Esper Killer...... Is that you in there?" asked Sonic.

"I afraid not Sonic. One of my loyal soldier is inside piloting one these upgraded Exo Suits." Said Esper Killer.

"Oh, so you just upgrade one little Exo suit just for Sonic and I? I am flattered." Mikoto mocked Esper Killer.

"Haha. Make as many jokes or quips as you like, but even if you were to defeat this one Exo suit, there are countless more of it across the city. I am sure that even someone as strong and powerful as you two would tire out quickly." Esper mocked the two heroes.

"Isn't that a little bit over cautious?" asked Sonic.

"When it comes to the destruction of all Esper kind, all necessary precautions must be taken." Said Esper Killer.

"I can easily just fried this suit you know and do the same to others." Said Mikoto as her hair bangs begin to spark with electricity.

"Oh please try Railgun. Oh wait! I forgot to mention. If you try that, it won't work! All upgrade Exo Suits come in with a device that protects it from a Esper Electromaster like you Railgun!" Esper Killer mocked Railgun before laughing evilly.

"Grrr....." Mikoto growled at Esper Killer mocking.

"Is all this destruction really how you wanted? To get back at a Esper who is already behind bars and you and your army to kill everyone in Academy City? Just to get your revenge?" asked Sonic.

"Not just mine revenge........ its everyone in Anti-Esper revenge!" Said Esper Killer.

"You won't get away with this you monster!" Said Mikoto.

"I already have Esper. In a matter of hours, this 'advance' city will be reduce to a pile of ashes. And everyone here will become nothing but a memory." Said Esper Killer.

"Not if we have anything to say about it! We will stop you, your army and your plans!!" Said Sonic.

"Go ahead and try. But let it be known that my voice will be last thin you hear before you die!" Said Esper Killer before disconnecting his communication to the Exo suit.

The Exo suit puts its large sub machine at Mikoto and Sonic. The barrel of the gun begins to spin to dangerously levels.

"Take cover!" Said Mikoto as she grabs Sonic and took cover in a nearby alleyway.

Just in time. By the time they got in that alleyway, the sub machine gun begins to fire bullets at everything that isn't moving. Like glass windows, cars, and even parts of the road.

The Exo Suit continues to fire its gun until it ran out of bullets. The head of the Exo suit looks down at its empty gun in confusion.

"Haha!" Said Mikoto as she pokes her head out from the alley they are hiding in. "What's wrong you bucket of bolts? Ran out of ammo?"

The Exo suit didn't take well to that insult. It tossed it tossed its gun to the ground. Part of its back opened up to reveal a white handle of something coming out of its back. The Exo Suit grabs it with its left hand and pulled out the white handle. What it pulled out was a futuristic red and black sword.

"Uh-oh!" Said Sonic as he pokes his head out of the alleyway just to see the huge sword in the Exo Suit hand.

The jetpack function of the Exo Suit begins to activate and the Exo Suit begins to fly towards the heroes.

"Time to go!" Said Mikoto before she picks up Sonic and begins to use her Electromaster powers to pull herself and Sonic towards a street lamp at the end of the alleyway. Just as she did that, the place they were originally got sliced into pieces.

"We got to defeat that thing and take out the pilot controlling inside of it!" Said Sonic.

"How do you suppose that? I bet they also modify that thing to withstand my Railgun attack. My coins that I use to launch my attack won't be effective at that thing." Said Mikoto.

The Exo Suit begins to slowly walk towards the heroes through the alleyway all creepy like. The moment it exited the alleyway, it pointed it sword at them, signaling that it was ready to end them.

"What about a hedgehog Railgun proof?" asked Sonic as he got an idea.

"What are you saying?" Asked Mikoto.

"Why don't you use me as you a way to use your attack at that thing?" asked Sonic.

"Okay that is a crazy and stupid plan. That could hurt you and/or kill you as well!" Said Mikoto.

"Just trust me." Said Sonic before curling up into his ball form and hopping into the air. The moment, Sonic begins to fall back down to the ground, the Exo Suit begins to charge at them.

"Alright....... I trust you Sonic!" Said Mikoto as she begins to surrounded her self with electricity. Once Sonic came back down to her at her height level, Mikoto flicked her fingers and Sonic was launched at incredible speeds.

The Exo Suit quickly blocks with his sword. The force of the impact when Sonic crashed into it was enough to make the sword shake a bit.

Sonic continues to clash against the sword. In a matter of minutes, the sounds of cracking was from the sword. The evidence of cracks forming on it confirms it. When the sword break, Sonic crashed right through the Exo suit and pushed himself and the pilot out of the Exo suit.

With no pilot no longer inside of it, the Exo Suit fell to its knees and then onto its front side. It then twitched before exploded into million of pieces. The Anti-Esper pilot is knocked out cold when Sonic collided with him and pushed him out of the Exo Suit.

"Well, that was a rush." Said Sonic as he already feels refreshed and ready to go.

"You okay Sonic?" asked Mikoto.

"All good and ready for more!" Said Sonic as he did a little pose.

"Hehehehe..... Hahaha! Your one strange little hedgehog Sonic." Said Mikoto as she laughed a little.

"Why thank you Mikoto." Said Sonic.

"Now then, lets find the others." Said Mikoto. 

"Right lets go." Said Sonic as he grabs Mikoto hand and gets into a running start position.

"No no wait! Sonic wait! Sonic!!!!" Mikoto said before Sonic begins to run extremely fast, with Mikoto along too.

Sonic and Mikoto were angry for the destruction that is going on in the city. Mikoto feels guilty for not noticing for anyone that had hatred for Espers. Sonic was able to cheer her up. Sonic and Mikoto begin to battle a upgraded Exo Suit. Thanks to Mikoto, Sonic was able to beat the Exo Suit and knock out the pilot. But can they find a way to stop the Anti-Esper forces and save Academy City?
