On December 7th in the year 1980, Cronos Espoir the Hummingbird was born. His parents died when he was 5, so from there he lived his life as an orphan...in the streets. He spent years doing this. Until he became 9 years old, he decided to gather a group of other kids who were abandoned or orphans so he wouldn't feel so alone. That was when he met Rogue the Coyote, a 6 year old coyote who was abandoned by his parents for mysterious reasons. They instantly bonded, and became so close that it's as if they were brothers. In fact the reason why Rogue was called Rogue was because Cronos gave him the name. But now you may wonder how they managed to afford food and the resources they needed to survive. Well that's the thing, they became master thieves using clever strategies to get money or steal it themselves.
Cronos decided that the stealing thing they've got going on could work even better if they traveled wherever without getting caught by the local authorities. So they became a bandit group, with Cronos being the leader. As the years went by, the group became notorious for stealing a large amount of money despite being as young as 17-19. With Rogue being one of the most skilled of the group by his side, they became successful at what they did. Rogue's charisma and charm helped increase their success with the tactics used to distract the people they stole from.
A while later, he met a hummingbird named Juliette whom he started dating at the age of 21. They both loved each other very much. Cronos would steal the loveliest of jewelry for her. And in turn, she would make his favorite dessert: Canelés. At the age of 23, Cronos became the father of his son, Felix. Although Felix was named this by Rogue, his birth name was Azure (Cronos named him that). Unfortunately, Rogue and Juliette weren't aware of what Cronos had planned for his son's future. And what he had planned was a successor. For what you may ask? Well, while Cronos was off on a small solo trip to steal some gold from an old temple, he was met by a goddess by the name of Lilith. In her true form, she asked him if he would do the honors of helping the gods track down a goddess on the run on Mobius. In turn, she would grant him immortality.
Once he heard of this promise, he agreed to heed her orders and in short, he had started to convince the other Bandit group members to follow him. All but one followed (Rogue) and from then on, the Bleeding Heart cult was formed.
The Bleeding Heart cult, a group who carried out the Golden Eye Exterminations when the gods who started it were tending to their godly duties, also dealt with dark magic. They had beef against the Calaveras (aka. Dolores' family) for they had golden eyes, were possible suspects and they were after the Calaveras' money. Before having ties to the Golden Eye Exterminators (what the gods who caused it were referred to), they used to be a group of bandits going from town to town stealing money and increase their control/power.
An ex-member of that bandit group happened to be Rogue the Coyote (who was previously known as Andrés). The reason he cut ties with the bandit group was because of the leader: Cronos the Hummingbird, for abandoning his parental responsibilities to his son Felix the Hummingbird and overall spiraling into insanity.
They were once brothers, for Cronos was the one who found Rogue, who was abandoned by his parents. But they cut that brotherly tie when Cronos abandoned his family to pursue the G.E.E with his cult. When Cronos found out about Rogue now taking the role of a father for his son, he became filled with envy and fury. Since his wife died due to an illness, Rogue would now be responsible over Felix, interrupting Cronos' plans involving his son. When his son was 10, he and his group attacked a festival. The very same festival that Rogue took Felix to. Cronos saw Rogue and Felix and attempted to shoot at them, but Rogue while shielding Felix from the attack, gets shot at, causing him to die due to a large loss of blood at the age of 30.
