This universe is similar to Prime or Archie universes, except the secret underground network of agents and officials is more big in power and get more things done than a simple fight between Sonic and Eggman.

There are a lot of organizations you could choose to join that have an ace spy to be your partner here.

1) G.U.N (Guardian Unit of Nations)

Region: United Federation (equivalent to USA)

Leader: Commander Abram Towers

Highest Agent: Agent Rouge

Description: An organization formed to protect the world from threats both foreign, domestic and extraterrestrial. While they are mostly a military force, agents like Rouge do the work of gathering intelligence, sabotage, theft of items and other things to foil enemies like Eggman.

2) R.E.D (Royal Espionage Directive)

Region: Spagonia (like UK and some European areas)

Leader: Director Winston Ramsey

Highest Agent: Agent 009 (Edward Bone)

(Basically this universe's version of my OC Class themed like James Bond.)

Description: A network of spies dedicated to protecting Spagonia and her royal majesty the queen. Usually they're quite good at being clean and secretive, but people of the special level like 009 do the more.....active missions.

3) Royal Secret Service

Region: Kingdom of Acorn

Leader: Geoffrey St John

Highest Agent(s): Geoffrey and Hershey St John

Description: A separate faction of the Kingdom of Acorn's Royal Army that serves two purposes. One is to protect the king and the royal family like United Federation's Secret Service does. The other is to take out threats to the royal family and gather intelligence. The original was led by Geoffrey's father before Mobotropolis fell to Robotnik.

4) G.E.M (Gobal Espionage Movement)

Region: None (HQ is on a desert island in international waters)

Leader(s): Rouge (Director) and Edward Bone (Co-Director)

Highest Agent: (open) [this could be you]

Description: This is an organization that was formed in another timeline where Edward and Rouge put aside their rivalry and left their agent roles together, forming an independent organization that spies on every country and faction in the world. G.E.M finds critical information that puts other lives at risk and reveals it so that plans can be foiled, though sometimes they have to get dirty and do things like sabotage, theft and assassination in order to prevent mass conflict.

Traveler Scenario

You arrive through a portal, only to find yourself in...."suprise!", another encounter with Dr Eggman in one of his lairs.

Just before Eggman can contain you, one of his bots spots someone hiding somewhere, only for a Mobian to toss some smoke pellets everywhere to blind Eggman and then shoot out some of the robots to clear a path for you.

You take the opening your rescuer gave you and run for the nearest exit, hearing Eggman call out, "Get that spy!"

After a few minutes of avoiding robots, you're nearly home free......but Shadow Android shows up to stop you.

A device is thrown onto the android that causes it to short circuit, revealing your Mobian rescuer from earlier is Class in a fancy tuxedo.

"The names Bone, Edward Bone." The alternate version of Class says. "And who might you be?"

Mission Codename: Topaz

This is Commander Abraham Towers contacting (your OC's agent name)

If you're getting this message, we have a critical mission for you.

While our efforts against Eggman are going well, we have concerns about a former ally of his that went rogue against him: Dr Starline.

With Starline left unchecked, he could prove to be another dangerous front for us as well as the Reconstruction Movement to deal with.

We received tips that even after his failure to keep subjects Surge and Kit in check, some Mobians have been reported missing after last being seen in areas Eggman used to hold, the hunch being Starline has taken those areas for himself to continue making more androids/cyborgs he can actually control this time.

Though since Starline was with Eggman for a short time, he could have valuable information and having him under our radar would eliminate him as a threat for now.

I'm giving you and Agent Rouge the assignment of rescuing the captives and bringing Starline in alive.

Unfortunately, you're in a race to get to him first before several agents.

R.E.D in Spagonia has sent their top spy, Agent 009, to find Starline and hold him in exchange for intelligence that the prime minister knows we have.

The Kingdom of Acorn has sent the St John duo agents to bring Starline in to face punishment for involvement in the prince being severely injured in an assassination attempt by one of Eggman's robots, likely to face life in prison or the kingdom's first death penalty in centuries.

To make matters worse, there have been reports of trained assassins from the far eastern Dragon Kingdom being spotted nearby, as well as the Chaotix being deployed by the Resistance to investigate and Eggman hiring the mercenaries Team Hooligan to eliminate Starline too.

We need your skills as well as Rouge's to ensure this mission is successful, failure making this a dire situation.

If you get caught by a small faction or one of the mercenaries, we will have agents Shadow and Omega on standby in case you need to be evacuated out of the place.

If you're caught by another country or Eggman however, you risk the United Federation getting into a full blown war that will cost us thousands or maybe millions of lives.

Upon accepting this mission, you must meet Rouge at the coordinates we give you within 8 hours, or else the rest of Team Dark will be deployed and you will be demoted to office duty.

Mission: The World is my Emerald

Hello (OC's agent name). I hope I didn't catch you at a bad time, but something is happening that could use your skills.

It appears the mastermind behind some recent power grabs in Holoska, Mazuri and Chun nan is Mammoth Mogul, and it appears he's planning on gaining power in Spagonia by having the new prime minister be one of his cronies.

We need you to find Mogul and stop him as a threat, whether that involves his capture....or his elimination.

For the first time, our directive has given you the promotion of special agent, complete with a license to grant you permission to assassinate if necessary.

Agent 009 will be joining you for this mission, given this concerns Spagonia's freedom and we need the best onboard.

Unfortunately, you're not the only one after him, several other agencies on his trail too, as well as Eggman's side wanting Mogul's Chaos Emerald.

G.U.N has deployed Rouge to find Mogul and steal his emerald, which benefits the UF having Mogul dead without the emerald in exchange for Rouge keeping the emerald for herself.

The Kingdom of Acorn is sending Geoffrey and Hershey ahead to spy on Mogul with the Freedom Fighters set to attack him the moment they find an opening for the team, which this could risk Mogul escaping or having Sonic or Princess Sally dead, something Eggman could benefit from.

Eggman has sent mercenaries Sleet and Dingo to find Eggman and nab the Chaos Emerald, but Mogul might have a way to brainwash those two to serve him, and a Dingo on Mogul's side might be a terrifying outcome.

Starline is also trying to take advantage of the chaotic hunt by sending Mimic, Rough and Tumble too, Mimic being the bigger of your concerns due to his shapeshifter powers and his mercenary skills.

This situation may seem stressful, but as long as you stick with 009 and adapt to the changes in the mission, this should be a fine walk in the park for you.

Mogul must be stopped before he gains more Chaos Emeralds and unlocks more powers.

Mission: Boiled and Battered

The king and the princess have requested you go with Geoffrey and Hershey to find Snivley Robotnik and bring him in for treason against the kingdom before he starts his next plan.

Though you are going to be in a tight race to bring him in to face punishment.

G.U.N has Team Dark trying to capture him, with Agent Rouge leading it. They likely plan to get information out of him and put him in a job there so they can keep an eye on him.

R.E.D has deployed Agent 009 to bring him in to also get intelligence they can bargain the Kingdom and the Federation to trade for, though he's also been given license to assassinate Snivley if he can't be caught.

Dr Robotnik, now going by Eggman, is sending Fang and Mimic to get him, wanting him as another underling again or preferring he doesn't have a rival.

He's last been spotted in territory the Iron Dominion holds, sources saying he's under protection of the king and queen there.

Rouge: Hi (your OC's agent name)~

Edward: We hope you aren't busy with something, but a new report came in concerning Eggman.

Rouge: Turns out that whole story Knuckie claimed about being on an island with giant robots wasn't all that made up as him and Sonic made it seem it was.

Edward: Eggman has recovered data from the place and has started creating blueprints of these Titans as they call them so he can make his own versions to crush Sonic on the next fight.

Rouge: We need you to break into different facilities to destroy data and plans so they never get built.

Edward: The Kingdom of Acorn has offered Geoffrey and Hershey to assist you on the mission.

Rouge: Though you will have to watch out for Starline teaming with Zavok, Rough and Tumble, likely the group wanting to get the advantage.

Edward: If things get too dicy for you, me and Rouge will be available to come assist on the mission.

Rouge: Though I bet you'd like it better if it was just me and you on this, do you~?

Edward: Madame, could you please refrain from flirting with our agents? We don't need them flustered at the beginning of every mission.

Rouge: Awww..Why not? Are you jealous of them getting more attention than you~?

Edward: N-No! I just prefer we act in a professional manner when doing these briefings.

Rouge: I'm the gal leading this group, hun, I make my own rules on how these meetings go.

Edward: Still, this could mess up with undercover and infiltration missions.

Rouge: I think you need to stop and get a vacation. No one likes a stiff stick in the mud.
