Erik: Before you guys read this chapter, I decided to make side story chapters which they are going to be taking place during the events of Sonic and Neptunia Colors.

Erik: For these side story chapters, were going to focus on another character that's going to be the main protagonist on their side of the story.

Neptune: What?! But I thought me and Sonic are the main protagonist.

Erik: What the...! Where did you come from.

Neptune: Oh come on, Erik. You know I can always come visit you at anytime.

Erik: I guess that's true. But could you at least enter the front door like normal people.

Neptune: Nah. I feel like I wanted to surprise you is all.

Erik: *sigh* Figures. But anyway, you readers will find out who the main character is.

Erik: But I'll give you a hint, she has a same personality as Neptune.

Neptune: Oooh, I think I know who it is.

Erik: Yeah, me too. So without further a do...

E/N: Let's get on with the story!

And with that, the screen fades black.

Hyperdimension, South side of Planeptune

Our side story begins in the Meadows which is located in the South side of Planeptune, where we see is a cylindrical Seattle in the distance. 

Suddenly, a portal showed up out of nowhere as the mysterious figure pop out of the portal who appears to be a teen girl. 

She has a long lilac hair with bangs that reach down to her collar bone and purple eyes. In her hair she wears black hair-clips in the shape of D-pads and around her neck is a choker that has a light blue D-pad symbol on it. She wears a mostly black one-piece parka dress that has a purple hood, strings that look like controller plugs, and two huge black and purple pockets with blue circles on them.

The portal then started to close behind her and she said.

???: So this is the place, huh?

Next, she takes out a V.I.P Ticket from her parka dress pocket and she reads it saying.

???: Entrance to the park located in the meadows to the south of Planeptune.

Then, she looks at the cylindrical Seattle in the distance where the entrance to the park is being located.

???: Yep. This is definitely the place alright. (puts the V.I.P Ticket away in her parka dress pocket) 

???: Well that's good. Otherwise, this would've been a waste of time coming here in this dimension.

Next, she takes out her purple notebook and opens it which reveals to be a fairy who is a pale-tan skinned girl with bright blue eyes and choppy, platinum blonde-white colored hair worn with black ear pieces with red on them. She has a pair of purple and blue gradient themed wings and wears a black dress with silver and red accents, a crimson ribbon tied around her right wrist, and a cape like piece that attaches to her top by the big pink orb in the center of it. With smaller pink orbs below her shoulders.

???: Yeah, but I am excited to see this Interstellar Amusement Park that this V.I.P Ticket is telling us about.

???: *nods* This I'll be quite interesting to record something like this.

???: Okay, but as long as you don't cause anymore trouble Crostie.

???: It's Croire, not Crostie you dimwit.

???: Yeah, yeah, whatever you say. Now let's go!

Then, they both started to sprint towards the Seattle so they can both enter the park. As they both made it to the entrance, they see an Eggpawn who was behind the Plexiglas panel on the ticket booth.

???: Who is that?

Croire: It's a robot, Neptune. Have you not ever heard or see a robot?

Neptune: Nope. This the first time I'm seeing one, and he looks weird.

Croire: Yeah, it does look pretty weird.

Neptune: But any who, let's give this robot the tickets and be on our way.

Next, Neptune takes out the V.I.P Tickets from her parka dress pocket and gives it to the Eggpawn. Once she gave the V.I.P Tickets to the Eggpawn, the Eggpawn let's them both go through the security gate, which consisted of walk-in scanners and more Eggpawns.

Then, Neptune looks at the sign that's next to the walk-in scanners and said.

Neptune: Aww, what. No weapons!

Croire: Well sucks to be you, Neptune.

Neptune: *sigh* I guess I don't have a choice.

Neptune took out her Nameless Katana and her Pistol as she puts them in the bin. Once Neptune put them in the bin, she walk through the walk-in scanner while Croire follows her from behind.

Next, the giant elevator capsule door was now open and Eggman in the speakers saying.

Dr. Eggman (Speakers): Thank you for choosing to spend your day at Eggman's Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park. As you may have noticed, there are high-quality, specially cushioned seats stationed all around the edge of the elevator. These are not only for convenience, but also for necessity.

Dr. Eggman (Speakers): Without them, you would more than likely have your skulls smashed against the floor, as this elevator will be accelerating from 0 to supersonic speeds within the first minute of the ride.

Dr. Eggman stops speaking over the speaker and Croire said.

Neptune: Woah! This looks pretty cool in here.

Croire: I'll say.

Then, Croire went inside the elevator as Neptune turn around and sees her weapons that's in the bin. Next, Neptune suddenly had an idea and said.

Neptune: Hey look, a meteor is coming towards us!

Then, Eggpawns look at the sky to see if there was a meteor. Neptune quietly walk towards the bin, swipes her weapons, and puts it away into her inventory as she walks inside the elevator. 

Neptune: Just kidding.

The elevator started to close and the Eggpawns looked at each other and shrugged in confusion. Back inside the elevator, we see Neptune and Croire sat down on the cushion seats as they were both waiting for the elevator to move.

Neptune: Phew. Looks like I got 'em good.

Croire: What are you talking about?

Neptune: Oh nothing.

And with that, the elevator started to move at supersonic speed as they both make their way to the amusement park... in space.

After twenty minutes have passed, the elevator stop moving as they both finally made it to their destination. Next, the elevator started to open making Neptune and Croire exit out of the elevator saying.

Neptune: Alright! We're finally here!

Neptune: Now where's the amusement park?

Croire: Probably the giant golden door that's behind it?

Neptune: Ooh. Well in that case... Let's go!

Next, Neptune walk towards the giant golden door while Croire was floating beside her. The two tuxedo-wearing Eggpawns then started to open the golden door for them as they both has their eyes wide in shock.

(BGM: Area: Tropical Resort - Sonic Colors)

N/C: *gasp*

They both see the entire amusement park with palm trees, street lamps, and foliage made a makeshift border around the circular plaza. Followed by tropical-themed concrete buildings behind them, this place was none other than Tropical Resort.

N/C: Woooooah!

Neptune: This place looks awesome!

Croire: I agree. This interstellar amusement park looks really cool.

Neptune: I wonder where should we start?

Neptune started to look around to see where they should go first. As she was looking around, she sees the The souvenir shops, the concession stands, and the flying shuttle buses which showed everything was priced in Rings.

Neptune: Huh? Is Rings the currency that we need?

Croire: Beats me. Your guess is good as mine, Neptune.

Neptune: Aww man, I don't have that kind of currency. 

Croire: Well that's a bummer.

We then cut to the next scene showing Dr. Eggman who was watching the duo on screen. As he was watching on the screen, he was stroking the right side of his awesome mustache and said.

Dr. Eggman: It seems that she finally showed up to my amusement park. Good.

Dr. Eggman: Now let's see who this fairy companion she brought with.

Next, Dr. Eggman started to analyze Croire to see if he was right about the energy. Once the analyze was complete, he sees the energy level from Croire that were very high and said.

Dr. Eggman: So it's true. This little fairy has a unique energy I haven't seen before.

Dr. Eggman: She can be really useful to my plans. I must negotiated with her at once. 

Then, Dr. Eggman left the room so he can go find Croire and negotiated with her.

(Mini Timeskip)

(BGM: Area: Tropical Resort - Sonic Colors)

We cut back to Neptune and Croire who were walking through Tropical Resort to see if they could find a place to buy Rings for the currency they need.

Neptune: There's gotta be a booth to buy these Rings for currency.

Croire: I highly doubt that.

Next, they soon encounter five Rings that were floating in midair and Neptune now said.

Neptune: Ooooh, so these must be the Rings that we need.

Croire: I guess so.

Neptune then jumps toward the Rings and grabs it. Once she grabs them, she now has a total of  five Rings.

Neptune: Wow, these Rings are pretty big. Let's see if we can find more around this place.

Croire: Yeah, let's do that. But I think it would be better if we split up.

Neptune: Hmm... I don't know. I have a feeling you might cause trouble again.

Croire: What, Pfft. As if I'm gonna do that.

Croire: And Besides, we're in the amusement park. So there's obviously going to have security cameras around the amusement park from preventing me causing trouble.

Neptune: Hmm... are you sure that you're not gonna cause trouble?

Croire: Yeah, honest.

Neptune stares at Croire for about five seconds to see if she's telling the truth. Once she was done staring at Croire, Neptune said.

Neptune: Okay. Once we collect enough Rings from this area, let's both meet up at the bench next to a palm tree.

Croire: You got it.

And with that, Neptune ran off to find more Rings around the area. As she left, Croire started to smirk and said.

Croire: Sucker. Now let's see if there's anything interesting around here.

After five minutes have passed, we cut to Dr. Eggman who was riding on his Eggmobile looking for Croire.

Dr. Eggman: The little fairy has to be around here in the park somewhere.

But luckily for him, he ended up spotting Croire who was looking around the park which made him grin saying.

Dr. Eggman: Aha, there's the little fairy.

Then, he pilot towards Croire as we cut to Croire who was now feeling bored of herself saying.

Croire: Uuugh, I'm so bored. There's gotta be something interesting for me to enjoy.

Croire: Especially recording some interesting history.

???: Why hello there, little one.

Croire: Huh? Who said that?

???: That would be me of course.

Croire turns around and sees the Eggmobile who is none other than Dr. Eggman himself.

Croire: Who are you?

Dr. Eggman: My name is Dr. Eggman, the greatest scientific genius in the world.

Croire: What?

Dr. Eggman: So, are you enjoying my amusement park so far.

Croire: Eh, not really.

Dr. Eggman: What?! Do you know how hard I work on this Interstellar Amusement Park.

Croire: Well I'm getting bored here, okay. This place hasn't really caught my interest.

Dr. Eggman: I see. Well I'm sure you'll find other places to enjoy.

Croire: I guess.

Dr. Eggman: And speaking of which, I'm here to negotiate with you on something that might catch your interest.

Croire: ...Go on.

After a few minutes have passed, we cut to Neptune who manage to collect 50 Rings as she was walking back to the bench where both her and Croire would meet up.

Neptune: Phew. I manage to find fifty of these Rings.

Neptune: I wonder if Crostie have more Rings than I have considering that there's other Rings that I can't normally reach.

Neptune then sat down on the bench where she would be waiting for Croire to show up. But unfortunately, Croire hasn't shown up for over ten minutes and Neptune said.

Neptune: Geez what's taking Crostie so long. I've better find her and hopefully she didn't cause anymore trouble.

Next, Neptune got up from the bench and she heads off to the other side of the area as the camera moves up to the starry sky of space.

(Timeskip)

We then cut to the next scene making the camera move back down to the amusement park as we see Neptune running through Tropical Resort.

Neptune: Where could Crostie be at? She could be anywhere around this place.

Neptune look around the area as she was still running. Until she heard two voices which made her halt and starts listening to the voice.

???: Wowie, you're really catching my interest, doctor.

Neptune: That voice? Could that be Crostie?

Neptune: I better check it out.

Next, Neptune ran off to a direction to where the voice was coming from. Neptune then stop running, hid behind the palm tree, and started to peek seeing Croire talking with Dr. Eggman.

(BGM: Eggman Again - Sonic Unleash)

Neptune: Who is that guy?

Dr. Eggman: So, do you want to join me?

Croire: Sure thing. I would love to see you take over the world with my help.

Dr. Eggman: Then it's settle. Now let's head back to my lair.

Neptune heard the whole thing and she was shocked that Croire is going with Dr. Eggman. Before they could both head off, Neptune step out of her hiding spot and said.

Neptune: Stop!

Dr. Eggman: Hm?

Neptune: What are you doing Crostie? You said that you're not gonna cause anymore trouble.

Croire: Well your wrong, Neptune. As much as this Amusement Park is interesting, but seeing this guy here taking over the world is even more interesting.

Neptune: Gee, you're no fun at all.

Neptune: You there. Give Crostie back to me at once!

Dr. Eggman: I would love to Ms., but Croire wants to record me of taking over the world and she definitely doesn't want to miss it. Isn't that right, Croire?

Croire: Yep. Which I'm so pumped!

Dr. Eggman: Now if you excuse us, we'll be taking our leave. But I do hope you enjoy the rest of Tropical Resort as well as other great attractions this Amusement Park has to offer.

Eggman and Croire started to leave as Neptune pulled out her pistol and shoots at Eggman's Eggmobile. Dr. Eggman turn his Eggmobile around and Neptune said. 

Neptune: You're not going anywhere until you give me Crostie back.

Dr. Eggman: Alright then, have it your way.

Eggman press the button making eight Eggpawns with blasters appear as the Eggpawns started to surround her.

Dr. Eggman: You Ms. are under arrest from violating me and my Interstellar Amusement Park.

Dr. Eggman: Eggpawns, arrest her.

(BGM Ended)

(BGM: Elegy - Hyperdimension Neptunia V/Re;birth 3)

Then, Dr. Eggman and Croire left the scene as one of the Eggpawns walk towards Neptune and tries to grab her arm. But she instantly change her weapon and cuts Eggpawns hand. Once Neptune cut Eggpawns arm, she dashes away and the eight Eggpawns tries to shoot her down.

Neptune sees them shooting her as she ran back towards the eight Eggpawns by using her Twin Blades to deflect the energy bullets while running. After successfully blocking the energy bullets, she slashes up the three Eggpawns in half as the three Eggpawns were instantly defeated.

Next, the two Eggpawns were ready to shoot Neptune down as Neptune looked both sides and she started to smile saying.

Neptune: *smile* What are waiting for, shoot me.

Then, the two Eggpawns shot an energy bullet towards Neptune and Neptune dodges it by jumping high in the air. Once she dodges it, the two Eggpawns shot each other instead which cause both Eggpawns to explode.

Neptune land on the ground and started to dash towards the last three Eggpawns to take 'em out. Next, the three Eggpawns started to shoot energy bullets towards Neptune as she deflects them away.

As she deflects the energy bullets, Neptune performs a skill move called Arial Shot which she jumps high in the air and starts a rapid-fire attack on the three Eggpawns as the three Eggpawns explode from the attack.

(BGM Ended)

Neptune then landed on the ground, blows her pistol, and puts it away. Once her battle with the Eggpawns are over, Neptune said.

Neptune: Now that was cool!

Neptune looked at the direction that Eggman and Croire left and she now said with a frowning expression.

Neptune: Man, that mustache round guy is a complete jerk for taking Crostie away from me. And I didn't even know his name yet.

Neptune: Hang on tight Crosite, Neptune here is coming to save you.

And so, Neptune ran off so she can go save Croire from the evil clutches of Dr. Eggman. As she left, we see six mysterious figures pop out of the bush who were observing Neptune this whole time.

They both finally made it to Dr. Eggman's Interstellar Amusement Park. And Croire has team up with Dr. Eggman?!

Will Neptune be able to rescue Croire and stop Dr. Eggman from taking over the world?

And what made Croire caught her interest with Eggman's plan?
