~5 months later after the fight between frieza and mecha sonic.

Sonic was just relaxing,since he had nothing to do and there hasn't been any trouble from Eggman which had left sonic wondering" what is eggman planning?" or for once Eggman has finally given up on world domination.

Tails (comes): Hi Sonic.

Sonic:Hi Tails.

Tails:I found something interesting we can do.

Sonic: What is it?

Tails: While researching on my computer I found out something.... I heard there's an ancient mystic box that was discovered recently, one researcher found it but reporters said he hasn't returned.

Sonic( lying on the grass): So....you want us to look for that magic box thingy?

Tails:uh-huh. But Mario and Luigi will come with us to make it easier finding it. I wonder what's in that box.

Sonic:ok I'll come.At least it beats standing here and doing nothing. Let's tell the Mario bros to come with us.

So Sonic and Tails went to Mario's house and Tails told them about the ancient mystic box that was discovered. The Mario bros accepted and also went with them since they had nothing better to do. An hour later they soon got to the entrance of the abandoned ancient temple.

At the abandoned temple.

Tails: Well it looks like this is the place.

Sonic: well let's not waste any time let's get going.

Mario: OK. Let's go luigi......................... (😞)luigi? .........(😒):

Luigi (hiding behind trees 🌳🌳🌳)

Mario(drags luigi out)

Luigi:aaaah!!(frees himself and runs)

Mario(😬): come here you big baby!!(pounces on him and grabs him firmly,drags him towards the temple): let's go.

Sonic/Tails (😕):uh...ok.

The four soon enter the temple and went to find that ancient mystic box.

But meanwhile................
Flash was looking for Sonic and went to tails lab to check when he checked his computer and took a closer look he became surprised about the mystic box. Luckily was given a communicater that tails gave him some few months ago and a GPS was included so he can track them. He saw Tails's location and ran there to find them in the temple.

Meanwhile.................................
Inside the temple

The four were still walking going deep into the temple. But we're distracted each time luigi screamed when he hears something like crumbling rocks.

Sonic:uh .......Tails do ya know where we are going?

Tails: Yes. Let's keep going straight.

After walking for a while they soon got to an area with 2 doors.

Mario: Great....what do we do now?

Tails:we split up. Sonic and I will take the left door. You and Luigi take the right door.

Mario:Ok. But can we switch?, I mean groups.

Sonic: Nope.... I'm not going with that coward.

Tails: me neither.....he'll slow me down. You're the only one that can take care of him.

Mario(😧):......fine. Let's go.

The four went their separate ways.it was a long journey but it was worth it, they soon got into a big round room and in the centre was a short pillar with......the ancient mystic box!!!!
Meanwhile......................
Flash was running towards the place.

Flash's POV
What do they think they're doing?,looking for an ancient box that houses a dangerous threat. I wonder how it got to this dimension. I better get there in time to stop them before it's too late.

Meanwhile.....................
In the temple

Sonic: cool.....we found the box.

Mario: I wonder what's inside.

Tails: Only one way to find out.

Luigi: Guys,I don't think this is a Good idea.

Mario: What do you mean?,if treasure is in it you can't say we're stealing it, finders keeper.

Luigi:What if the temple collapse if we take the box out?!

Mario: That won't happen even if it does....we'll run as fast as we can to escape so stop worrying.

Luigi: Ok. But don't blame me if something happens.

Tails( takes the box).....

Flash (comes): Don't open the box!!!!!

Tails(opens it then notices barry):

Within 2 seconds....the god of speed,.......Savitar appeared.

Sonic: Who is that?

Mario:What are you talking about?,

Sonic (pointing): there....

Mario: I don't see anything.

Sonic:Who are you?

Savitar: your worst nightmare. (Sees flash)grrrrrr..

Savitar within 1.0 seconds grabs flash and beats him and sends him flying to every direction. Sonic intends to help flash by giving savitar a fast spin dash but savitar kicked him to a wall and kicked him 20 times for 3 seconds as he bounced back. Then savitar dragged Sonic and Flash into the speed force and sent then to a different place.

At Holy summit

Savitar(throws sonic and flash to hit a rock):

Sonic:(gets up)(😖): uuh...what a ride.

Savitar:It's going to be more thrilling soon.

Sonic: Who are you?

Savitar: Savitar.

Sonic: You were lucky I didn't attack earlier.

Savitar: hahah...you are the one that's lucky, I would of killed you the instance you saw me.

Sonic: Yeah sure...what are you anyway.

Savitar: It's for me to know and you to find out. You're a hedgehog but I'm a god, you serve the speed force but I own it.

Sonic: you own the speed force?!

Flash (gets up): No not really. But nevermind,Sonic you have to tell Tails to close the box.

Sonic:ok. (Runs and enters the speed force)

Sonic (turns back and sees Savitar chasing him): aah!!, (accelerates faster)

Flash(comes): Find Tails I'll take care of Savitar.

Savitar: you're going to wish you never said that(grabs flash in 2 seconds and takes him somewhere)

~at the temple

Sonic: Tails..

Tails: you're back!, what's going on.

Sonic: I'll explain later.

Savitar(comes) and quickly drags sonic to crash a wall and points his sharp claws at Sonic.):

Sonic:T-tails, close the box.

Tails (closes the box)

Savitar (dissappears)

Sonic (drops to the ground)(😥):If you didn't close that box, I would've been hedgehog kebab.

Mario: I know this seems sudden....but WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!!

Sonic: I don't know!!,ask Barry he knows that thing!

Tails: What thing?

Sonic: You didn't see it?

Mario (nods his head): Nope.

Flash(comes): Are you guys alright?

Sonic: Yeah they're fine........."thanks for asking" about me.

Flash: Hey!!, it's not my fault you opened that box,if I came here earlier this wouldn't of happen. But sorry sonic.
I'll explain everything.

~ at central city park

Flash: that guy you saw earlier is Savitar.

Sonic: Yeah I know that. What is he?

Flash:He's the god of speed.

Sonic (😲): the god of SPEED?!

Flash: Yes. He's dangerous. I've fought him sometimes. But that was a long time.

Sonic: But why was I the only one who can see him?

Flash: Savitar can only be seen by speedsters.

Sonic: that explains why Mario,Tails and Luigi didn't see him. Well how do we stop him?

Flash: I don't know. Over all the fast villains I have face,he's the fastest.

Sonic: were gonna need a lot more than speed to beat him.

Flash: Yes. But that won't be necessary as long as this is with us.(shows them the box)

Sonic: WHAT?!,why did ya bring it here?!

Flash: Don't worry we'll be okay as long as no one opens it. I brought it because if we leave it there it will only be a matter of time before a curious person opens it for who knows how long.

So Flash kept the box in princess Peach's castle for safe keepings.

So the box is finally safe under anyone's reach.....for now. To find out what happens next read act 2.
