this song was inspired by a dear friend and past love - he told me the song was good and that he had sometimes fallen asleep to it because it was so good, so i decided to continue writing it

this was my first ever fully-completed song :D

there's a lot of hidden meaning and stories behind each line, but it would be kinda long to tell all yall EVERYTHING, so ill just tell you guys a little and you can comment if you want a specific line analyzed

the main gist of the song is that him and i always seem to have only a short period of time to talk and hang out, so i want to cherish it as long as i can

it's also mixed with a little " carpe diem " mindset: you never know if it'll be your last day, so better make it worthwhile and be the person you strive to be

so yeeeee
