"We didn't think this through," Gabriel said.
"We definitely didn't," Cas murmured, wiping his hand over his face. Him and Gabriel were standing in Cas's room, about to carry their luggage down for the trip to the airport. A trip that both Sam and Dean were going with them on. A trip that only Cas and not Angel would be able to be on.
"I don't really know how to help you out with this one Cassie," Gabe said. "You could say Angel got on a different flight?"
"That's a stupid reason," Cas muttered. "But Dean might be oblivious enough to fall for it."
"I mean no one ever sees 'Angel' at the airport anyway," Gabe pointed out, slowing backing out of the room. "Well good luck bro." He turned and walked out, hearing Cas sigh deeply behind him.
Gabe went to find Sam who was standing downstairs, his suitcase next to him as he typed something on his phone. He looked up as Gabe walked in, smiling at him.
"How's Cas doing?" he asked and Gabe just shook his head.
"This is going to end badly and everyone knows it," he said. "We've got three shows around Australia, which means a total of five plane trips that Cas has to lie about where Angel is every time, not to mention he has to disappear at every show..." Gabe just shook his head. "Cassie needs to sort this mess out before Dean finds out in the wrong way."
"You don't say," Sam said, barely flinching as Gabe walked over to him and just leaned face first onto his shoulder with an exasperated sigh. He smiled slightly. "Come on, in can't be that bad."
"It's pretty bad," Gabe muttered. "Michael and Luci are still fighting too, and they have to share a room like they always do."
"Okay that's pretty bad," Sam admitted. "At least we're okay though."
"Yeah," Gabriel said, looking up at Sam with a small smile that quickly turned into a smirk. "So Sammy, that date we went on, if I remember correctly you kissed me."
"Pretty sure you're remembering that incorrectly," Sam said, not being able to keep the small smile off his face.
"Whatever you say Samantha," Gabe said. "Any chance of it happening again?"
"Only if you're good," Sam replied.
"I'm being pretty good right now aren't I?"
"Refusing to give up? I wouldn't count that as good." But Sam still smiled and leaned in before Gabe could react, pressing their lips together and pulling away just as fast.
"I'm going to pretend I didn't see that," Dean muttered from the doorway, walking out as Sam looked at him with wide eyes.
"If he murders you it's not my fault," Sam said to Gabriel, while keeping his eyes on where Dean had been.
"It he tries I'll just threaten Cas," Gabe said, shrugging with a smile. Sam looked back at Gabe, unable to hide his own smile.
Meanwhile Dean and Cas at the cars.
"So where's Angel?" Dean asked.
"Uh," Cas started. "I think he got an earlier flight. Or something. I don't really know." Dean narrowed his eyes.
"I just can't help but wonder," he said. "You make it sound like Angel hates all you or something, and he's never around because of that. But whenever I see him he seems fine with everyone."
"I really don't know," Cas sighed. "It's a weird situation."
"It really is," Dean muttered, before smiling and leaning in close to Cas. "Are you looking forward to Australia?"
"Somewhat," Cas said with a small smile. "I'm looking forward to spending time with you."
"That was cheesy," Dean chuckled. Cas just rolled his eyes and stepped in quickly to kiss Dean softly. Dean moved his hands to Cas's hips, just as the front door to the house opened and the two of them broke apart.
"No making out in the presence of Satan," Luci said, but he sounded dejected. "It makes Satan sad."
"Luci are you...okay?" Cas asked, pulling away from Dean to take a step towards his brother. Luci had dark shadows under his eyes, he looked like he hadn't slept at all.
"Fine," Luci snapped. "I'm fine. So I'm driving this car and Michael's going in the other one." As Cas opened his mouth to speak Luci walked off towards the car, throwing his stuff in and getting into the front seat, slamming the door behind him.
"What..." Dean started, looking between the car and Cas's extremely worried expression.
"I've never seen them like this before," Cas said quietly. "This is bad, especially around concert time."
At that moment, the front door opened and Michael came walking out, his face set in a slight glare.
"Michael," Cas said. "What is wrong between you an—"
"Don't even start Castiel," Michael snapped. Cas fell silent, frowning as Michael just went and got in the car.
"Well then," Dean said quietly. "Which grumpy driver do you want to be with?" Cas just sighed before dragging Dean over to Lucifer's car, therefore leaving Sam and Gabe to be with Michael.

It was an awkward flight, with tensions running high between Michifer and Cas being constantly worried about the issue that he'd entirely created on his own. Sam sat with Dean on the flight since he knew about Dean's fear, which left Gabriel and Cas to speak worriedly about Michael and Lucifer who had somehow managed to sit on opposite sides of the plane.
When they landed and got to the hotel, they ended up debating rooms, since there was three rooms to share between them.
"Michael, Luci, you always share," Gabriel said. "There's no reason to change that now."
"I can think of a few," Michael muttered, and Luci just gave Gabe a pained look.
"No," Gabe said. "No discussion. The Winchesters get a room, me and Cassie get a room, and you two get a room. Same as always. That's the end of it." He shoved the room key at them and grabbed Castiel's arm, dragging him off to their room. Michael just looked at the key and rolled his eyes before walking off to the room, not waiting to see if Luci was following, which he begrudgingly did.
"Sam, am I missing something?" Dean asked. Sam looked at him, confused. "Angel isn't here, and Gabe said same as always as if it's always like this..."
"Dean I think you need to talk to Cas about that," Sam said, walking off before Dean could ask him any more questions and put him in an awkward position. Dean just frowned, narrowing his eyes before following him.

They had a night to themselves before the concert the next day, and Gabe was determined to explore the city. He grabbed Cas and went to Michael and Luci's room, finding the two of them sitting in dead silence. He grabbed them too and went and got the Winchester's.
"So where are we going?" Sam asked, noting that Gabriel had put on his angel wings jacket.
"Anywhere," Gabe said. "We all need some fun."
And that is how they ended up at a bar about ten minutes later, drinks in hand.
"Are you sure getting them all shots was a good idea?" Sam murmured to Gabe.
"No, this was Michael's idea," Gabe replied, downing the shot in one go. Sam just sighed and did the same with his.
"Okay but I really have to ask, what's up with all of you guys and Angel?" Dean asked after throwing back his shot. "He's never around."
"It's complicated Dean," Cas said quietly. "We can talk about this later." Dean looked like he was going to keep pushing it for a second before sighing.
"Okay Cas," he said, leaning in to press a chaste kiss to Cas's cheek.
"Cute," Gabe commented. "Come on Sammy we have to out cute them."
"But they're actually dating," Sam replied. "We're...what are we?"
"Whatever you want us to be," Gabe replied with a wink. Then he flinched and glared accusingly over at Dean. "Sammy your brother just kicked me."
"Dean," Sam whined. "Don't kick my friend who I kiss sometimes."
"You two are so weird," Dean murmured, turning his attention back to Cas.
Meanwhile Michael and Lucifer were sitting in silence, and Michael finally had enough before standing and going over to the bar, to possibly get another drink or something.
"Luce, you know you have to sort this out right?" Gabe said. "We have a concert tomorrow."
"I don't know what I did wrong," Luci said quietly, and Gabriel had never heard him sound so dejected and helpless. "He's just mad at me..."
"Ask him," Gabe said. "Whether he wants to talk or not, force him to tell you. It's the only way either of you are going to sort anything out."
Meanwhile Dean and Cas's conversation.
"You know Cas, if you can play piano then why didn't you ever join Heaven's Grace?" Dean asked.
"Do I look like someone who would do well on a stage to you?" Cas asked, raising an eyebrow. Dean looked him up and down for a second, at shy, awkward Cas and smiled.
"You're right, you'd look a bit out of place up there," he said, ruffling Cas's hair. Cas swiped his hand away quickly, looking at Dean to find him looking at his hair with an odd expression.
"What's wrong?" Cas asked.
"Nothing," Dean said, reaching a hand up to flatten Cas's hair. "You just look like Angel sometimes."
"I mean, we are twins," Cas said, rolling his eyes at the ridiculousness of this situation.
"I like you better anyway," Dean said, smiling. "He may be, well, Angel, but you're you, and it's all the things that make up you that I like."
Cas ducked his head in an attempt to hide his blush before sighing and readying himself. "Dean...there's something I need to tell you."
"Sure, what is it?"
"Dean I—"
He was cut off by Lucifer jumping up suddenly and making his way over to the bar. All four people left at the table watched him go with wide eyes.
Luci had been watching Michael sadly, wondering what he possibly could've done wrong when some random guy approached Michael, stepping a bit too close into his personal space. He'd smirked at Michael, made some comment while putting a hand on Michael's hip to pull him closer. That had been the breaking point for Luci and he jumped up, storming over to the two.
He grabbed the guy by the shoulder, yanking him off of Michael.
"Luci what the hell?" Michael snapped.
"Yeah what the hell man?" the random guy snarled.
"Stay away from him," Lucifer growled, stepping between Michael and the other guy.
"Jeez, you should've just told me you had a boyfriend," the guy said, holding his hands and walking away after giving Lucifer a thoroughly pissed off look.
"Lucifer what the hell?" Michael said, spinning Lucifer around to face him.
"He was getting too close to you," Luci muttered angrily.
"That's not for you to decide!" Michael snapped. "You know what, I'm done. I'm done with you trying to run my life, keeping me away from ever having a relationship. I always followed you and this is how you treat me? I followed you into this stupid band—"
"You were free to leave at any time," Lucifer growled. "I never made you stay Michael."
"But you did!" Michael yelled. People were starting to stare, but he didn't care. "I couldn't just leave when your's and Gabriel's and Cas's entire careers depended on it, I never thought it would get this out of hand."
"You should've told us that!" Lucifer snapped. "We could've found another drummer if you really didn't want to do this Mikey."
"No you wouldn't. You would've whined and complained until I stayed. Just like you always do Lucifer. Always. You never take anything seriously!"
"You never had a problem with this before!" Lucifer yelled.
"I have, you've just never noticed," Michael snarled. "I'm not your pet Lucifer. I have my own life too."
"You're not my pet, Mikey you're my friend," Luci said, his voice softening significantly. "I thought...that meant something to you."
"Maybe it used to," Michael growled. "But now? I'm done. I want to live my own life. Not yours." He turned away and stormed out of the bar, leaving a moment of silence from everyone for a moment before they all went back to their own conversations. Lucifer stood frozen for a moment, swaying on the spot before shakily walking back to the table where the four sat in shock.
"Well," Gabe said. "Shit."
