My take: I love Shawn Mendes so it's quite likely I love this song. There's something so irresistible about Shawn's heartwrenching voice with these heartwrenching lyrics and the appropriately saddening yet beautiful video. Mercy is tied with Stitches as my favourite Shawn Mendes song. Also, Sam Tsui and the one and only KHS released a gutwrenchingly beautiful cover!
