Chapter 4
"My lady, please. Tell me what it is you are doing," Kiba asked quietly as they walked back to Zora's chamber.
"Kiba, I'm committing treason."
"I'm sorry Princess?"
"I said I'm committing treason. I'm leaving, I'm going to see my father's empire. Will you come with me?"
Zora searched Kiba's face, looking for his answer. There was just a glint of hesitation in his yellow eyes, then he spoke, "Of course I will go. I am your guard, and it is my duty to accompany you wherever you may go. What about Sanjana? If we leave, your father will brand her as a traitor and have her killed."
Oh no, Zora hadn't even thought of Sanjana. Kiba was right, her father would have Sanjana killed if he found out she'd helped him escape. So what would they do? "Kiba, what can we do. Haggar's spell only works for the two of us."
"We keep her cloaked, and we get her out. To earth, or at least somewhere she can assume her human form."
Zora stopped, filled with shock. "You knew?"
"Princess, I'm a soldier, and an experienced one at that- I know a hybrid when I see one. Sanjana wasn't hurting anyone. I thought it best to let her be."
"Thank you Kiba."
"Princess if your serious about this, I'll grab some supplies, and I'll meet you at your chambers. Can you get there by yourself?"
"Kiba, I've managed to walk places without you and avoid getting murdered before," Zora snapped.
"Of course. My apologies Princess." Kiba took off down the hall without another word, leaving Zora alone.

"Sanja, grab your cloak. We're leaving," Zora ordered.
"My lady?"
"Do you want to live?"
"Yes, of course. Where are we going?"
"I don't know. I can take you back to earth. Do you know if your father is still alive?"
"Yes. Last my mother heard, but that was many years ago. Miss, If I may, why the sudden rebellion?"
"It's not a rebellion Sanjana. I merely wish to see my father's empire for myself." That was mostly true, but it was only half of the truth. Zora had begun to think that maybe there was something wrong with her father's empire If Sanja would be killed just for Zora going missing, and if her father's empire was as perfect as she'd believed it was, why would anyone want to topple it. She had to see how it was for herself, Zora had to know the truth.
