"Seems you remember me~" said the yokai while trying to break Meir' katana.

When Meir realized his opponent' intention, he pointing his katana down and it generate kiinnn-- sound because those two swords rub against each other. The yokai take a distance about two meters from Meir and opened his mouth, "As always, your sword skill is great! You are the moosstt interesting human I've ever seen."

"I can't wait to eat you," the yokai lick his own mouth with his tounge.

Meir stays quiet and mounted his stance. After the yokai saw that, he also mounted his stance. Not long after, the yokai begin to attack Meir in high-speed. He thought that Meir will reply it with his katana but Meir directly jumps and does somersaults in the air with intention to kick the yokai' chin. After Meir does his complicated move in the short time, he landed safely on the ground. The yokai become upset because he didn't realize that move then, he approached Meir and swings his sword to Meir' face. Meir lowing his body and directly stab the yokai' chest with his katana—the katana pierced his chest. Blood came out from the yokai' mouth. "Wha-- why.... are you...gettin'.... stronger... thann.... be....fore..." said the yokai while disappearing—he fully disappeared after he finished his words.

Meir stays in his place and doesn't show any reaction—he just look at the ground with none of sparkle on his eyes. After a minute, he opened his mouth, "It's because of your species... idiot..."

Meir put his katana to it's protector again and walked in to the headquarter' building without activating his invisible skill. Once he gets in, there's a human eating party. Every yokais in there celebrating of their harvest. And there's some humans that being tied there and there's some of them that being cooked. Don't know what Meir felt that time since he is hardly to read, he directly take off his protective necklace carved with symbol mf. Because of the unique human presence, all of yokais there are directly looked to the presence source. "Well, well, well... Seems our meat has come home... Right,.... Sogo?" said one of them.

"Woah! The rare human meat!!!" shouted a small yokai.

The yokais are happy to see their food comes back. As the yokais are shouting in victory, someone dividing the yokai who opened his mouth for the first time after Meir take off his protective necklace to half. The atmosphere changed drastically, all of them stayed quiet after saw that incident—they still confuse who divide that yokai. Not long after, that person shows himself—deactivated his invisible skill.

"Tama— Lazu!" said Meir when his eyes widened.

"Why did you take off the necklace, you idiot?!" asked Lazu in his madness while holding his katana in his right hand.

"Y-you following me?"

One of the yokais shouted, "Catch those meats!!!!"

The yokais in there followed the command. They attacked Lazu and Meir at the same time. Lazu and Meir directly jumped away from where are they standing before and landed on the other ground—back-to-back with each other. The yokais are surrounding MEZZO".

"These yokais know you."

"Yeah, I know."

"Why?"

"Find out the reason by yourself."

"Tch."

MEZZO" mounted their stance. Once the yokais attacked them, they 'serve' them with their katanas. They are disappearing the yokais one by one in such a fast speed. After 5 minutes, finally the yokais there fully disappeared. They thought they've already done but the other yokai with human appearance suddenly came out from the other door in the headquarter—it seems like the yokai' boss. He smirked after he realized what's going on before he came, "Hm...?? Are you looking for your father, Yugo...? Unfortunatelly, he's here in my stomach."

"What?" Lazu widened his eyes.

"I don't care about him. And my name is not Yugo," said Meir with his firmly looked—without smilling.

"Heh...?? Really...? Ah, well... It's obvious duh~ You seems really calm when you were watching your father' meat being eaten by me."

"Eh? So...chan...?"

"Your father always bring you into the yokai world and it makes you reaalllyyy suffering. But, your father not even care about it."

A scary aura suddenly come out from Sogo. Tamaki who realized about it, he directly felt afraid but not long after he collect his courage and looked at the boss of yokai. He mounted his stance, disappeared and suddenly he appeared from behind of the boss. He swings his katana straight to the boss' neck but the boss directly hold Tamaki' katana and broke it. Tamaki' eyes widened and frozened for a while. When the boss intended to punch Tamaki, Tamaki has realized it but he failed to dodge it. The punch made Tamaki hit the wall and his cheek wounded—blood came out from his mouth. After that, the boss holds Tamaki' neck and lift him up. These incident was happening in about two minutes only.

"I heard the rare-human-meat is delicious if you eat it directly," said the boss, "Which part of him that I'll eat first?"

"Wait—" Sogo' face turned pale and he can't move.

"No... Please, don't be like this. I don't want this kind of incident happen again," thought Sogo, "Please, move, my body!!! I'm not weak!! I can kill him!! No, I must kill him!!! Please..."

Sogo' eyes become teary.

"Ara~ Are you going to cry? Is this man really meant to you?"

After Tamaki saw the teary Sogo, he realized, "Ah... Souka... I understand..."

Tamaki hold the boss' hand with his both hands and kicked the boss' face hardly. The boss directly fall.

"Tamaki-kun!!!" shouted Sogo.

Tamaki approached Sogo and pull Sogo out from the headquarter. "Let's kill him together," said Tamaki when gave Sogo a lil bit push on Sogo' back with his left hand.

"What's the plan?"

"What? You are the one who asked me to kill him together."

"Etoo... I can't make a plan in this kind of situation..."

Sogo shows his weird looked to Tamaki, "What the hack..."

The boss came out from the headquarter in anger, "How dare... you... kicked my face!!" He release his fire power so his body are full with fire.

"The powered yokai..." said Tamaki while terrified.

"Tamaki-kun."

Tamaki tilt his head to the sound source.

"You can make another katana, right?"

"Well... All of us should mastered that skill in such a short time, right? So, obviously I can."

"Then make the anti-demon katana and covered it with water spell. Your previous katana broke because you only use the basic katana."

"Okay,... And then—WOAH THE FIRE BALLS APPROACHING US!!!" shouted Tamaki suddenly.

Sogo directly pull his katana out, "Water fairy, covered my sword!" and he swings his katana hardly to the fire balls. Water came out from the katana and it directly extinguish the fire balls.

"Back me up with your instinc, Tamaki-kun," said Sogo while approaching the boss.

Tamaki smiled. He spread his right hand and the anti-demon katana came out from it. "Water fairy, covered my sword!" Tamaki read the spell excitedly. He directly disappeared from where he standing before and appeared from behind the boss. When Sogo realized Tamaki' action, he shows an excited smile and disappeared from where he running before then suddenly appeared in front of the boss.

"NANI--??"

MEZZO" swings their katanas at the same time and the boss' body split into three and slowly turning into black dust.

MEZZO" looked at each other and smiled. "Finally you showed your true smile, So-chan."

"R-Really?"

Tamaki giggled, "I can see the differences between fake smile and true smile."

Sogo laughed, "Souka..."

A minute of silence.

"Nee... Can you tell more about what did you do back then in this world and what did you feel when you're watching your father being eaten by that bastard yokai?"

"About that..." Sogo looked to the ground and raise his head up again after a few seconds, "My father brought me here to kill yokais... I knew that there's a simple way to execute the yokais but he said to me that he wanted me to become his war tool in the future."

"War?"

Sogo nodded, "Yeah, he wants to take Takanashi Headquarter from President. He doesn't really mastered at fighting so he frequently bring me here to develop my skill. He said that I can kill yokais or even humans in here... So..."

"You killed the humans too?"

"Yeah. And then, the boss that we defeated earlier got mad because I killed the humans. He said that he wants to cook them while they are alive so it tastes great. And so, because my father doesn't want his war tool died, he protected me and he being eaten by the boss. I can't move... But, I felt a deep despair... I can't cry... Just frozened back then. No humans around me back then helped me..."

"...Although my father never shows his love to me and always treat me as a tool, I don't have anybody left beside my father so I love him as his child... It's okay if I'm the one who suffered as long as I can be with my father. When I saw my father being eaten, I felt really lonely, mad, sad... I don't know what I want to do..."

"...In that kind of condition the President came rescue me without my knowledge because he is using his invisible skill. Because, he carried me so I became invisible too."

"Carried? Wait, how old were you when that happened?"

"12 years old."

"So, you have been in the headquarter for 7 years?! Why haven't I seen you since then?!"

"I was in the seperated building, I have to do rehabilitation so I can't meet you guys or I'll do something terrible to you guys."

"Oh..."

"And one more thing, can you open the portal for humans in here and take them to our headquarter?"

"Why me? Is it because you only know the long spell?"

"Of course not! It's because they won't believe me if I tell them that I'm here to rescue them since... I'm the one who killed some of their families..."

Tamaki feels what Sogo feels that time,"So...chan..." Not long after, Tamaki shows his warm smile and hit Sogo' head.

"Ittai!"

"You're not alone again, So-chan... Now, you have me and the rest of i7 members. Let us shoulder some of your pain."

"Tamaki-kun..." said Sogo with his teary eyes and then he smiles.

"We will sing and dance together for the victims after we have finished our mission... So, cheer up!"

"Haha. Yeah..."

MEZZO" get in the headquarter and Tamaki opened the portal to Takanashi Headquarter for them and all of the victims in there.

District 8½, Tokyo, Yokai World

6:08 AM

In an building...

Seventeen have finally arrived to their destination—the place where the humans meat are produce in that yokai world. They have collected a lot of informations so they finally can arrive there. They are using their invisible skill right now.

As they can see how humans with white outfit are jumped into a machine and being crushed—okay, I don't want to tell the detail.

"I want to throw up again," said Iori for the second time.

"Mooo... Iori..."

"Why can you not feel disgusting or creepy when you saw something like this, Nanase-san?"

"Well, it is... But, my anger is bigger than those feelings..."

Riku deactivated his invisible skill and directly jump to where the victims are—they are standing on the machine and make a line up.

"Nanase-san!!!" panicked Iori, "And now, my stomach is hurt too."

"STOP!! Don't jump!!!" command Riku to the victims while he is get in their way to jump. Because Riku standing on the edge of the machine, his body lost it's balance and Riku falls into the crashing machine.

Iori directly deactivated his invisible skill and go to where Riku falls, "NANASE-SAN!!! HONTOU NI BAKA YAROOO!!!!"

And suddenly, red light came out from the crashing machine and a sound from it, "You, guys!!! All of you!!! Get into the portal!!! And tell anyone in the headquarter that Seventeen will come back later!!!! Hurry!!!"

The victims felt scared but not long after they decided to jump into the portal. After 10 minutes, the victims have already jumped all. And the portal closes. Right now, it's only Iori left there...

...and Riku in the crashing machine—standing on the stop crashing tool.

"Iori~! Help me get out from here!" said Riku cheerfully.

Iori helped Riku get out from there with his pale face.

A minute of silence

"H-How co-could...?"

"I prop it with some of my kunai, standing on the flat surface, draw the circle of spell on the palm of my hand fastly and opened the portal," explained Riku fastly and happily.

Iori sighed, "I need my stomach medicine, now..."

Riku smirked, "Oh~ Iori worried about me?"

"Oh, shut up!" said Iori when blushed.

Riku laughed hardly.

"Oi! Don't laugh like that! The yokais here will hear you and—"

Iori heard some foot steps from the other side of the building. After that, he directly covered Riku' mouth and bring him to the best hiding spot—they're hiding behind a machine.

"Mm--mmh!!!! Imowiii...!!!! Mmmmm--mmmm!!!!"

"If you want to me release the holds, stop making noises!!!" whispered Iori.

"Imowi--mmm-mmh?"

"Of course I understand what were you saying!"

"Mmm...!!! Imowi mmm..!!!"

"Shut up already!!"

The footsteps slowly gettin' heard and the yokai who make those footsteps noise said, "Where's the meats?! And I smell another yokai... No... What is this smell..?? Never smell it before..."

"Well, nevermind"

Seventeen realized that the yokai walking away. Iori releases his glad breath and releases his hand from Riku' mouth.

"BWAHH---!!! Finally, it's over..." whispered Riku.

"Yeah..."

Both of the—

"HELLO!!!!"

"AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!" Both Riku and Iori shouted hardly.

They surprised as they can see the yokai with a teen girl appearance suddenly appeared from in front of them—up side down. Not long after, Seventeen run away from where they're standing earlier.

"Oh... So, you are the one who have that kind of smell??" said the little girl yokai when pointing at Riku.

"Me...?" asked Riku when pointing himself.

The girl nodded, "Yup! I can't tell what you are... or... Don't tell me...."

"...you're the 'monster'?"

Riku tilt his head. He confused with what the girl said. "Ignore what she said, Nanase-san!!!"

"Well, I don't care what are you guys... But the point is... you must die because you have released my meats!" said the girl when her shadow power appeared from his back and make a wing. She flies and swings his hand to the right and a lot of shadow arrows came out from it. The arrows directly attacked Seventeen.

Riku spread his both hand to the right and left then four kunais came out from between his fingers each hand. And he swings his both hands one to the left and one to the right so the eight kunais hitted with the shadow arrows and disappeared. Riku does this thousand times in the short time so he can disappeared the arrows.

After all of the arrows have disappeared, Iori suddenly appeared from behind the girl and kicked her hardly. Blood came out from the girl' mouth and she hits the wall.

[The incident below happened in the air]

Before the girl falls to the ground, Iori spread his right hand to in front of him and a complicated carved bow appeared. He pull the string of the bow with his left hand and an arrow appear from between the string and the bow. He released the arrow and it piercing the girl' chest.

After that, he land safely on the ground. The girl landed too with her face hit to the ground. She's slowly disappeared.

The girl seems not react to it but not long after, she looked to her right side and see her bracelet that she uses on her right hand. Then, she mumbles something.

Seventeen looked each other with confused look and then they approaching the girl—seems they are curious with the girl' mumbles.

After they have neared the girl, they surprised. They saw the girl is crying.

"It hurts... Onii-chan... save me... Onii-chan..."

"I'm sorry..."

Seventeen' eyes widened and their face turned really pale as they saw the engraving on her bracelet—it's a four-leaf-ring engraving and below of it there's a name 'Aya'.

"Ano.. Are you..." Riku doesn't finished his words.

"...Yotsuba Aya-chan?" said Iori to complete Riku' words.

The girl that being called Yotsuba Aya-chan by Iori opened his mouth weakly, "H...How...did you... know...?"

"We're Tamaki' friends from Takanashi Headquarter," explained Riku with his teary eyes.

"Heal her with your power, hope!" Iori read a spell to heal Aya while he's holding her hand. But, seems he failed.

"Why...?" Iori' eyes become teary, "Please, don't die, Aya-chann!!!!"

"Tamaki misses you soo much!!!" shouted Riku.

Aya smiles, "I know Onii-chan loves me... But... We can't be together... I've... changed... to a yokai... and also... that spell won't work since I'm a yokai..."

"Nanase-san! Let's try to give her a life energy!"

"Yeah!"

And so, they gave some of their energy to Aya after they read a spell, " nós lhe damos um pouco de energia para que você possa viver um pouco mais."

translation:

we give you some energy so you can live a little bit longer.

After about two minutes, there's nothing happen. Even after five minutes... nothing happen.

Aya finally opened her mouth, "I'm a yokai you know... So, human energy won't work at me..."

"Why...?" asked Iori and he started cry, "How dare I kill you... I'm sorry..."

"No... Don't say that... It's none of your fault..."

"No... No..." said Iori while crying and holding Aya' hand.

"Iori..." Riku starts to cry too but not long after he wiped his tears, "Aya-chan... Do you want to speak with Tamaki for the last time?"

"Can I...?" asked Aya, "I want..."

Riku smiled while he is holding his tears. Then, he picked his phone from his pocket and called Tamaki. When Tamaki picked the call, a hologram from Riku' came out.

"Rikkun...? What's wrong...?" asked Tamaki from the hologram (they do a video call btw.)

After Riku saw Tamaki' face, Riku can't hold his tears anymore, he's crying.

"Rikkun...???"

Iori cries even more.

"Iorin moo???"

Then, Riku face the hologram to Aya.

Tamaki widened his eyes and frozened, "Aya...?"

"I'm here, Onii-chan..." said Aya weakly.

Iori helps Aya to sit.

"I'm... I'm..." Aya starts to cry, "I'm a yokai, Onii-chan... The sensei.... back then... treats me... cruely..."

"Wait, Aya... I'll go there, now..." said Tamaki with his teary eyes.

"No, Onii-chan... I'll disappear in about two minutes... So, it's useless..."

"Aya... Gomen ne... Gomen... Aya...."

"Don't say sorry to me... It should me the one who say that... Gomen, Onii-chan... For all of my lies," said Aya while the black dust around her decreased, "Show your smile, Onii-chan... Sing for me..."

Tamaki' eyes getting wet and a lot of tears have fallen. Not just him, Seventeen felt the same thing too.

Tamaki wiped his tears and hold it then he smiles.

"Kyuu ni kurai kumo ga sora o outteku
tenki yohou nante ate ni naranai
yosou nante dekinai mono ga aru
sore wa sore wa koi no ame

rain of love…
rain of love…"

When Tamaki finished the song, Aya shows her happy smile, "I'm glad... That you are my Onii-chan...." her body become transparent and the black dust decreasing.

"Arigatouu... Onii-chan... and..."

"...don't be like me... Nanase-san..."

Aya fully disappeared as she finished her words.

A minute of silence...

"You two..." Tamaki opened his mouth with his watery eyes, "...go home now..."

Tamaki closed the call. After that, Seventeen looked each other with wet eyes and they nodded—seems they ready to face the consequences.

Riku opened the portal after he read the spell—the circle spell still there on Riku' palm of his hand so he doesn't need to draw it again.

At Takanashi Headquarter, Human World

7:14 AM

Seventeen have arrived there. And suddenly someone approaching them...

and hug them...

The one who hugged them crying on their shoulders, "Sorry... For make you guys kill my sister..."

Seventeen crying again on Tamaki' shoulder. "Wh...Why are you apologizing? We are the one..." cried Riku, "Sorry, Tamaki..."

"Yotsuba-san... You can kill us..." cried Iori.

The rest of IDOLiSH7 are seeing at those three crying together.

"Iori..." said Mitsuki with his sad face.

Tamaki hugged Seventeen harder and shook his head, "No... Iorin and Rikkun are my new family... I won't kill you... Besides... It's already my fate... I must face it so I can face the brighter future..."

Tamaki smiles, "Arigatouu for accompany my sister when she's going to die... It's already a miracle that she didn't disappear fastly..."

Seventeen hugged Tamaki harder and crying even harder.

"Tamaki... Arigatouu for your kindness..." thought Riku while crying, "Gomen ne... Gomen... Tamaki..."

"Even he doesn't mad at us... Yotsuba-san... Gomen... Gomen... for killing your sister... for killing your beloved one...," thought Iori while crying.

"Next time.... I'll protect this new family... So, they won't be like Aya... I promised you all.... Iorin, Rikkun, Yama-san, Mikki, So-chan, Nagicchi... All of you... I'll protect you guys..."

Mitsuki smiled and said, "Sugoi nee, Tamaki..."

"Forgiving the one who can't be forgiven, huh...?" said Sogo while smilling, "It's beautiful..."

Yamato tilt his head to Sogo and he stared at him without showing any emotion. After that, he looked over to the trio who hugging each other while crying. "Beautiful, huh?" thought him. Then he smiled.

"Even thought they are crying... But, seeing them like this... It warms my heart...." said Nagi when put his both hand on his chest.

Not long after, Tamaki released the hug and wipe his tears. Seventeen do the same thing too.

Tamaki take a deep breath, "Yosh! Let's entertaint the victims!!!"

The rest of IDOLiSH7 surprised for a second, "Eh?"

"Entertaint?" asked Yamato.

"Don't you guys remember why we named our unit 'IDOLiSH7'?" reminded Tamaki.

Nagi smiled and shout excitedly, "YES!! The victims have faced much more worse experiences! So, let's entertaint them!!!"

"Nagi-kun is right," smiled Sogo.

"Sou, seems you are more cheerful now."

Sogo nodded, "Hm! It's all because of you, especially Tamaki-kun."

Yamato smiled, "I'm glad that you guys are true friends now."

"YEAYY!!!! Let's sing and dance with them!" shouted Mitsuki excitedly.

"Yare... yare... We perform with this hologram outfit?" Iori smiled and approaching MEZZO" and the Pythagoras.

"Deactivate it first, Iori!" answered Mitsuki, "Besides MEZZO" and Pythagoras have changed to their casual outfit."

"Rikkun, cheer up!" said Tamaki.

"We can't start without a center, you know."

"Eh?" Riku surprised, "HEHHHHH....?????!?"

"Only Riku-kun that fits be our center."

"You have the most beautiful voice among us, Nanase-san."

"Your cheerful personality and your passion are fits our unit' image."

"Mitsu is right, Riku."

Riku looked to the ground and cried again.

"Oi, don't cry!" said Mitsuki.

Riku wiped his tears and looked to in front of him firmly, "Nanase Riku, IDOLiSH7' Center is ready to perform with the rest of the members!"

And so... IDOLiSH7 entertaint the victims with their dance and song.

They sing their song, MONSTER GENERATiON.

During the reff...

Iori' POV:
This is our first time performing the song that we wrote together... I'm really glad the victims enjoy it although we only wearing casual outfits... I hope they can learn from this song...

Yamato' POV:
I never felt something like this before... Giving motivation through our singing and dancing is really great...

Mitsuki' POV:
Let's face this cruel world together! Don't give up! If you fall into a deepest despair, get up again! Even it happens hundred times... Thousand times... Million times... get up!!!

Tamaki' POV:
I want to show to the victims that there's a lot of people in this world are much suffering than us but they don't give up to reach a brighter future

Sogo' POV:
You're never alone... Even if you feel you are, open your eyes and look around you. No one is lonely in this world. It's only your feeling.

Nagi' POV:
All of you are strong... You guys don't kill yourself even though you'll be eaten by them... You know that fact but still won't give up to live in this cruel world... And this is the result... You met us and finally feel relieved...

Riku' POV:
From today' experience, I've learned a lot of things. I want to teach the victims about that too so they won't fall into a deepest despair.

Author' POV:

When their song finished, the victims' applaused and shouts even they asked them to encore.

President and Banri also watched their performance. They are applausing on IDOLiSH7' performance.

"Omedetou, IDOLiSH7... You've succeed on your first mission," said the President proudly.

I thought I won't publish a new chapter tonight and the chapter won't really long like this also won't finish this fast... It's really unbelievable... Seems I really enjoy it😆

Fun fact, that I was crying when I wrote about how Aya died... And I was listening to a song, 'Haru wa Yuku' by Aimer, Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel III OST... IT HURTS SOOO MUCHH...!! It made me more sad... And suddenly... My mom called me to eat the dinner in the middle of crying😂 Gladly my mom didn't realize that I was crying.
