Sonic stared at me for what seemed like forever before he finally spoke. "Amy, what upset you?" He asks so gently I strained to hear it. "T-the game. I-it reminded me s-so much of m-my past" I stammered like a complete idiot. Sonic smiled knowingly. "I understand Ames. Put you have to try your hardest not to let your past haunt you forever. You have to move on" "I-I know Sonikku. B-but it's hard" Sonic smiles. "Yes, I know." We sit in a comfortable slients until Sonic finally speaks again. "Do you want me to tell you my past?" I reluctantly nodded my head. Then, he started to speak. 

                                                             ~Sonic's POV of his past~

The castle was under attack as little 6 year old was running to protect my twin, Amber. "Sonic! What happened to Mum and Dad?" A worried Amber asks. "I can't say for sure" I reply as we ran off to find them. We make it to the thrown room and we see our parents fighting off the knights from the other kingdom. "Sonic! Amber! Run!" My father King Jules yells as he fights off the knights. Suddenly, my dad was pinned to the floor. "No!!" I screamed as the knight cut off my father's head. Amber started to cry and I held her close. 

Then, our mother was next and she was pinned to the floor. I quickly ran over to my mother, protecting her. "You touch my mum, you die you Witch!" I scream, standing protectively in front of my mum. My mother pushed me to the side though. "Sonic, promise me to take care of your siblings for me" "YES" I yell. "Good, goodbye ,Sonic. Amber" And just like that the knight plunged a sword striaght through Queen Aleena's chest, my mother. 

                                                                ~Back to normal time with Amy!~

Hearing Sonic's past just made me cry harder. So, Sonic went through the same thing as me! Sonic just pulled me onto his lap and hugged me close. "Thank you Sonic. For all you've done for me" He flashes me his winner smiles. "Your welcome. I love you, Amelia" "And, I love you Sonic" 

Sonic then leans down and kisses me. I can never go back on my past but I can always move forward. That's what I learned today.
