(Normal Pov) (With Sonic and Arin)

Arin panted as a portal between him and Sonic began to form. Sonic ran over to Arin and caught him as he fell over, his legs becoming weak under him. Sonic helped Arin sit down 

"A-Are you okay?" Sonic questioned. Arin nodded and yawned a bit

"I'm fine. Just kind of drained. I've never revived two people at once before." Arin chuckled. Suddenly a flash came from the portal and blasted Sonic and Arin away from it. Sonic caught himself, landing on his feet and grabbing Arin as he almost flew past him. Sonic set Arin down and smiled

"What the fucking hell happened?" Sonic and Arin looked up and seen Tails and Amy standing where the portal used to be, Tails holding his head and growling from pain

"Guys!" Sonic ran over to them, wrapping him arms around them with tears in his eyes

"Sonic?" Amy questioned confused. Sonic pulled away and looked at them smiling. He grabbed the pictures he had from off the ground and handed them to Amy and Tails, who looked at them in confusion. As the two continued to look over the pictures, Tails was the first to look up in shock

"How could I have forgotten about my own best friend? Sonic, I am so sorry." Tails pulled Sonic into a hug, who quickly hugged him back

"What the hell was wrong with me?" Amy asked, flipping over one of the photos and reading the note on the back of it

"W-What do you mean?" Sonic questioned, pulling away from Tails and kind of looking down at Amy

"How could I have tried to ruin your life? I shouldn't have done anything like that." Amy looked down, tears filling her eyes. Sonic pulled her into a hug as she started to sob loudly, hating herself for causing so much pain to her best friend. Tails joined the hug, feeling his bad side subside, his peaceful and gentle side coming back to him

"I-It's okay..." Sonic told her calmly...

(The Next Day) (With Ethan and Maxine)

"You call?" Marine walked slowly into the hospital room, seeing Ethan holding Maxine's hand

"Yes ma'am...We um have a question." Ethan rubbed the back of his neck

"You wanna see your kids?" Marine smirked. Ethan and Maxine's eyes widened as they looked at each other

"Y-Yes please!" Maxine replied happily

"My pleasure. I also have good news. Your kids are fine. The essential organs and veins they needed have grown in them rather fast. Maxine, you can also leave for home as well with you guys' kids." Marine smiled as she seen Ethan cheer, hugging Maxine and kissing her all over her face 

"Do you want me to bring your babies to you or do you wanna grab them yourself?" Marine asked

"If you don't mind, you could bring them to us." Maxine replied nervously

"Of course! I'll be right back!" Marine walked out of the room. Ethan and Maxine made eye contact and smiled brightly

"O-Our kids are okay!" Maxine choked back a sob as she cried. Ethan quickly pulled her into a hug, kissing her cheek

"Sooo are we still gonna use the names I thought of?" Ethan chuckled. Maxine smiled and nodded against his chest

"Your middle name for the male, my middle name for the girl." Maxine mumbled into Ethan's chest. Then there was a small knock on the bottom part of the door. Ethan and Maxine pulled away from each other as the door opened, revealing Marine holding their babies. She carefully walked over to Maxine and handed both of the babies. Maxine held them with care, small tears coming into her and Ethan's eyes as they looked at their twins

"The-They're so beautiful..." Maxine hiccuped and smiled, as tears escaped her eyes. Ethan wiped his own tears away and sniffed, reaching his hands out to grab his daughter. Since Maxine was black with blue streaks with ruby red eyes that had a swirl of emerald green, and Ethan was dark gray with black tips with emerald green eyes, he noticed that his daughter was a dark gray, close to black, with the same eyes as Maxine. He looked over at his son and noticed that he was black with gray tips, his eyes were emerald green with a swirl of ruby red, meaning that the emerald green in his eyes stood out more than the ruby red in them 

"Hi Mercy and Iris." Maxine giggled as Ethan kissed her cheek. Marine walked out of the room to give the new family some space...
