(Normal Pov)

Exe, Silver, Ethan, Kevin, Alessandra, and Ruby walked into the hospital. Exe walked up to the counter and asked for Ms.Marine, the others standing behind him. Ms.Marine appeared from somewhere behind the desk and went to the family, holding out her hand

"Hi, I'm Marine. Don't call me miss or anything, just Marine." Marine smiled. Exe and Silver looked at each other and nodded

"Okay Marine. How are you today?" Silver questioned. Before Marine could say anything, Ethan spoke

"You had an amazing day? Great! Now can we get on the move and go to Maxine The Hedgehog's room?" Ethan deadpanned. Exe hit him upside his head and Ethan growled, rubbing where Exe hit him

"We're sorry about him. It's just that Maxine's his girlfriend and he's really worried about her." Silver stated, glaring at Ethan, who huffed

"Oh! My apologies! I'll take you to her right away!" Marine hurried and grabbed her clipboard, scamming through the papers and finding the room Maxine was in. She lead the family to the room and knocked before opening the door. Once the door was opened, Ethan was in the room and hugging Maxine, who was weak and slightly awake

"E-Ethan..! Le-t g-o!" Maxine coughed. Trey pushed Ethan off of Maxine and Ethan looked at him, fire in his eyes

"You okay Max?" Trey questioned. Maxine tilted her head towards him a little and smiled ever so softly

"Y-Yeah thanks... Sorry Ethan, I'm just really weak right now and you were hurting me..." Maxine looked over at Ethan slowly, reaching weakly for Ethan's hand, who took it quickly

"Are you okay?! Is the baby okay?! How'd this happen?! H-"

"Whoa calm down there. I can answer two of those questions for you." Marine placed a hand on Ethan's shoulder. Ethan looked at her

"Yes she is fine. All she has a is a slightly broken arm, but that's about it. Nothing to serious, but there is....one small problem..." Marine sighed

"What?! What is it?" Ethan questioned impatiently, seeing Maxine's face scrunch up, holding back tears

"Your kids....Well they're born.." Marine rubbed

"How? And kids?! Wait...." Ethan thought for a moment, praying it wasn't what he thought it was, but his prayers weren't heard

"Your twins that Maxine was supposed to be having were born prematurely. As soon as she was brought to the hospital, she went into labor....We don't know if the children will make it..." Maxine had started crying again and Ethan growled, looking over at Trey, who hung his head in shame

"This is your fucking fault!" Kevin grabbed a hold of Ethan to keep him from going over to Trey

"I-I'm sorry..." Trey grabbed his jacket and ran out of the hospital, tears running down his face. Kevin let go of Ethan and ran after Trey. Ethan went over to Maxine and hugged her softly and slowly, making sure not to hurt her

"I love you..." Ethan whimpered out, kissing Maxine's forehead as tears fell down his face

"I-I...love you too..." Maxine whimpered back, hiccuping as tears continue to fall down her face

"You guys head home...I'll stay here with Max." Ethan kissed Maxine on this lips this time, getting a small smile from his princess

"Are you sure?" Exe questioned, laying a hand on Ethan's shoulder. Ethan looked back at him and smiled sadly

"Yeah. I'll call if something happens." Ethan replied. Exe and Silver looked at each other and nodded

"Okay. Be safe. Though we have something to tell you guys before we leave, but we don't think we should tell you guys right now..." Exe rubbed his arm

"Just tell us...Please?" Maxine questioned

"I'm gonna step out while you guys talk. Hit the button beside Maxine's bed if you need me again." Marine walked out of the room as Silver sighed, pulling out the note Sonic and Zayn left. He handed it to Ethan and Maxine and they both read it. After reading it, Maxine started crying again, but worse. Ethan held her, calming her down and rocking her side to side, whispering sweet nothings into her ear

"Both my parents are gone for a while! Both of my fucking parents! Why when I need them the most!?" Maxine cried out into Ethan's chest. Evetyone's heart broke at the sight. They couldn't relate to what she was going through

"I got her. You guys can go now. Thanks for telling us this news." Ethan's voice was weak, but he stayed strong for his girlfriend. Silver and Exe nodded and walked out, Alessandra and Ruby following close behind...
