(With Shadow, Niesha, Dark, and Mephiles)

"Soldiers!" The General called. Niesha cursed under her breath and growled, quickly slipping on a black tank top and her crop top camouflage jacket, running out of her shared room that she shared with the guys and into the practice room, where everyone was waiting

"Agent Mercy! Why were you late for the fourth time this week!?" The General growled. Niesha stood up straight and panted, slight fear running through her. Shadow, Mephiles, and Dark grieved for her. She wasn't getting used to the fact that she was risking her life. She wanted to be at home with her family, she wanted everyone back at home where nothing like this could happen, but this was her job. It was what was keeping her and her family on their feet and she was gonna do anything for them. Each male had to hold Niesha sometimes so she could go to sleep at night because she would break down crying

"I-I'm sorry sir! I lost track of time a-" Niesha felt a hard hand hit her cheek as she fell to the ground, her hand over her possibly swollen cheek

"That it's an excuse soldier! Now get your ass up! We do not need cry babies on this team!" General hissed. Niesha then got up, Shadow, Mephiles, and Dark watching her carefully to make sure she was okay

"Alright!! Now today, we will be practicing our combat skills! Pick a partner and you will fight one another! Am I clear!?" General paced in front of the group of young adults. There was about over 200 of them there risking their lives. Some didn't care about risking their lives, others continued to think about their families

"Yes sir!" The soldiers replied in unison. Then everyone began picking partners. Dark, Mephiles, and Shadow made their way over to Niesha and Shadow removed Niesha's hand from her face, noticing that the bruise was already starting to form

"Shit..." Shadow cursed. He hated that he couldn't do anything about this. He knew that if he did, he could get in serious trouble, which would cause more pain to Niesha

"I'm fine. Just a scratch ya know?" Niesha chuckled sarcastically

"Just a fucking scratch? You call that shit a scratch!?" Dark growled loudly, lucky enough he couldn't be heard with all the fighting going on in the background

"We'll talk about this later. Niesha, who do you wanna be partners with?" Mephiles sighed, rubbing his face

"I'll take Shadow since you guys are best friends." Niesha sighed, crackling her knuckles. She knew she wasn't in the right clothes to be fighting, but she couldn't care less. She could fight in anything and she knew that

"Okay let's get started. See you guys later." Mephiles and Dark walked away, leaving Shadow and Niesha. Niesha and Shadow then looked at each other, getting into a fighting stance

"Don't go easy on me dude." Niesha smirked, suddenly filled with excitement and energy. Shadow made a noise and smirked

"Oh trust me. I wasn't planning on going easy anyway." He ran at Niesha, swinging a punch at her. Niesha dodged it, ducking and swinging her leg around, tripping Shadow. Shadow fell, but quickly jumped back up, getting back into his fighting stance

"Good first shot." Shadow complemented. Niesha smirked and ran at Shadow this time, only to see Shadow backflip behind her and kick her hard in her back, making her fall to the ground

"But I can do better." He bragged. Niesha jumped up and her and Shadow began to actually fight. Punches and kicks were shared among the two hedgehogs, trying to dominate the other in the battle. Shadow slammed Niesha to the ground and put her in a choke hold, Niesha coughing, but not tapping out

"Niesha you might as well tap out. I'm not letting go." Shadow grumbled. Niesha growled and grabbed his neck, pressing her index finger into the front of his neck, making him choke slightly and let go. Niesha then took a deep breath and pulled herself up, getting onto Shadow and punching him about 10 times in his face, almost knocking him out

"Alright that's enough you two!" General shouted, Dark grabbing Niesha off of Shadow. Mephiles picked up Shadow and Shadow smiled weakly, holding out his hand to Niesha

"I gotta say. You've been getting better and better as we continue to battle Niesha." Shadow frowned when Niesha only gave him a snarl and walked off

"What's up with her?" Mephiles questioned

"I don't know dude, but I'm not liking it one bit." Shadow replied. The General smirked to himself as he watched Niesha walk off, proud and happy that his work was being done correctly...
