So I was getting this done before I had to go to work.

Shang Tsung a sorcerer that was in charge of the Mortal Kombat tournament was a man who others thought of as a coward, but there were times when he showed that he was a man that was very kind to others very rarely. One of these was when there were two edinians that were harming a woman and as he saw this it didn't sit well with him, so he went over to them and beat the crap out of them and stole their souls.

Shang Tsung "Are you alright miss?"

??? "Y-Yeah I'm alright. W-wait Shang Tsung? Wh-what are you doing saving me?"

Shang Tsung "I don't like it when multiple men will attack a woman if they aren't doing anything and are doing it for their own personal gain. What is your name miss?"

??? "J-Jasmine."

Shang Tsung "Jasmine? A beautiful name for a beautiful woman."

He reached a hand out and helped her up and she was in shock that he even helped her out with the men.

After that encounter Jasmine saw another side of Shang Tsung, one that no one else saw. One night they hit it off and had some drinks and the two did the dirty in which it impregnated Jasmine and Shang Tsung was happy as well as Jasmine who really wanted a child. When the child was born they saw that it was a boy and they were stuck on a name.

Jasmine "I got a name for the baby."

Shang Tsung "really?"

Jasmine "What about YN."

Shang Tsung "YN?"

The baby began laughing and smiling at them saying YN and they decided.

Shang Tsung "YN it is then."

From that day on YN was raised by the two and everyday they gave YN the attention he needed as a baby. Then one day Shang Tsung was holding YN and saw that YN was being surrounded by green magic and He gained a smile on his face as YN was his whole world right now as the mother decided to leave and left YN with Shang.

Shang Tsung "I promise that nothing will happen to you my son."

But that wasn't the case for him. Shang Tsung was hosting the mortal Kombat tournament and lets say he lost and so Shao Kahn made him beg for mercy.

Shao Kahn "You have failed me sorcerer. You costed Outworld the tournament. You see it'd be a shame if something happened to your son."

Shang Tsung "You will not touch my son."

Shao Kahn "Oh? And what will you do about it?"

Shang Tsung was now in full on protective mode.

Shang Tsung "Your soul will be mine."

Shao Kahn "Is that a threat?"

Shang Tsung "No it's a promise if you hurt my son."

Shao Kahn didn't like the tone that the sorcerer had with him so he grabbed Shang Tsung by the throat and said.

Shao Kahn "Don't worry he will make a great servant to me."

He then stabbed Shang Tsung in the chest killing him, but not before the sorcerer gave his powers to his son. The emperor of outworld threw his body on the ground and left him there. Soon the Earth Realmers got to the throne room and saw the body of Shang Tsung laying there, but then they hear a noise.

Johnny "Huh?"

They all turn to the side and they see a little figure hide behind a pillar and so Sonya went to go check it out and when she did she saw a child about a year old. He looked up at her and she crouched down to his height and said.

Sonya "Hey are you alright?"

??? "He's fine."

They all look to see the figure of Shang Tsung with a green outline around himself and said.

Shang Tsung "This is my son YN, I need someone to take care of him, I don't want him to turn out like I did so I ask kindly. Please look out for him."

Sonya "How do I know that this isn't a trick?"

Shang Tsung "This is no trick. He really is my son, I'd like him to have a family to look after him."

This shocked everyone because he was never like this about anything asking for help from EarthRealmers after he just held a tournament and was really an asshole in it as well, but he is protecting something and that was his son, when they realized it Sonya agreed to do it.

After everything, Sonya and Johnny took care of YN and taught him everything he knows about fighting and gave him a family, End of Prologue.
