[Alucard POV]

As I travel back to Angie's apartment, I walk through a graveyard trying to let the memories of my father sink in. As I am walking home, I hear a tree branch Crack in the distance.

I then sniff out the scent of the individual, and I notice that she is coming from my left side.

As I get closer, the aura that I feel gets stronger. I then feel a whisper of wind run past me, and I turn to my right side to see nothing there.

"Who's hunting whom?" I say to myself.

I then investigate further into the Graveyard, and I see a woman dressed in black. Her hair was a backish color and she had skulls on her neck. She is sitting in a ring of fire, speaking in an ancient language.

"Along he has come, the prodigal son has finally returned..." Says the mysterious figure.

"Why have you been following me?" I ask.

"I have been watching you for a while now, just like your father. I was the one he consulted into hiding you." Says The Mysterious Figure.

I then look around the forest, and I sense that she has friends with her.

"You're one of the Witches that hid me from Maric. What was your reason for doing so?" I ask.

"As you should know, I have my reasons for keeping the peace between the living and the damned. Before you came along, everything was black and white, humans and monsters were separated. But you, you are the bridge between both sides of the coin." Says The Witch.

The Witch then gets up and she stares at my eyes.

"Ahhh... You have awakened your Vampire side. But just because you have all of their strengths and none of their weaknesses, you may still struggle with the desire to give in to your Vampiric tendencies." Says The Witch.

"You mean I would still have the desire to drink blood?" I ask.

"Not like a Vampire should. You see, a Vampire has a kind of Animalistic trigger, a need to kill. It is like a state of rage that happens whenever you are near death." Says The Witch.

"Why did you bring me here?" I ask.

"Actually, you made the choice to follow my aura, you could have went back to your little scientist friend. So I must ask you this, why have you come to this hollowed ground?" The Witch.

"Do you know anything about a Vampire named Maric?" I ask.

"Maric? I could give you a whole book about him. Maric is a former Barbarian, who was abused by his father. Ever since he found your father, he has loved him like a brother. But Maric gave in to his Vampire side, and turned off his humanity. It made him ruthless, merciless and dangerous." Says The Witch.

"What has he been doing since my father and him had their falling out?" I ask.

"He has been killing and devouring humans for many years. Men, women, children... All throughout history." Says Another Witch who jumps from a tree.

"He is doing this to weed your father out of hiding, hoping to finish what he started centuries ago." Says Another Witch who appears from the shadows.

"I see you brought your friends, the other two witches that were responsible for hiding me." I say.

"I think a thank you is in order." Says The Witch on the left.

"Something tells me that Maric is after something else. Besides killing me and my father, he is planning something." I say to myself.

"Who are you witches? What should I call you?" I ask them.

"My name is Majara, and these two are my sisters, Siedaa and Akra. We are part of a coven, dedicated to monitoring the supernatural." Says Majara.

"So you monitor the supernatural, and you have been keeping tabs on Maric throughout history?" I ask.

"Maric has grown to be a trouble in the balance, we have come to ask you a favor." Says Siedaa.

"And what would that be?" I ask.

"We need you to kill Maric, along with anybody that follows him." Says Majara.

"Who said that I want to kill him? Like you said, he has a quarrel with my father." I say.

"Which means he has a quarrel with you, you forget that you are the reason that he fell out with Dracula, plus Maric fears you." Says Majara.

"Everybody is afraid of something. If you'll excuse me, there is somewhere I have to be." I say to The Witches.

"Our offer still stands, son of Dracula. We will be seeing you soon." Says Majara.

I then feel a rush of wind go past me, and the Witches disappear in a wall of fire. I then have an impressed look on my face as I walk away.

While on my back to Angelica's apartment, I  see the police investigating the aftermath of what looks like another murder. I then see Angelica looking over the body.

The marks on the body look similar in comparison to the one at Jackson Square. As Angelica takes a sample of the blood, she turns around and sees me, but she doesn't know it's me.

She then comes over towards this way, and I disappear into the darkness. I then traverse the rooftops unseen, and I observe the crime scene from afar.

I can't let Angie see me yet, not until I find out what did this. Suddenly, I hear footsteps approach me. Once I turned around, a man clad in black leather attacks me.

I block his attempted strikes, following it up with a punch that sends him flying through a jewelry shop window. I then jump down to his location and I see that he has a innocent woman in his arms.

"Let her go..." I say to the man.

"I have a message from Maric..." Says the man.

Then man then bites the woman in the neck and tears out her throat, she dies instantly from the massive blood loss. The man then tosses her at me and I catch her.

"...The time of your father is over!" Says The Man.

The man then disappears as the police show up. I then drop the body and I run. A police officer then shoots me with a taser, but it rarely slows me down.

The rest of the officers then shoot their tasers at me, and I finally collapse to one knee. Another police officer then knocks me unconscious with a Shotgun, and they take me away, putting me in a SWAT van.

As I am being taken away, all I could think about was, who was that guy that attacked me? What is going on here?
