[Alucard POV]

The creatures then begin to attack me, and they show me no mercy. I was being flung around and smacked like a dirty little rag doll. With blood running down my forehead, I begin to taste it when it hits my mouth.

I then begin to shut off all emotion, and I begin to rip apart the creatures. As the blood covered me, I let out a roar that engulfs the Coliseum. I felt my nerves blaze like fire and like a rush of air, my blood shifted and morphed.

Suddenly, more demonic creatures try to attack me, but I easily destroy them one by one, as I break their limbs and crush their skulls. For five hours non stop, I was just fighting, killing, shedding blood.

I was standing over a pile of bodies, in a river of blood. I then collapse to the floor, feeling drained. I have never felt a sensation like this, the need to kill.

"Stand up my son, remember your promise. Remember who you are. Hold on to your humanity, for it separates you from the savages of the old age." Says Vlad.

Suddenly, a swarm of bats and red smoke circle around me. I then stand to my feet and it envelops me, like a cocoon of a caterpillar. I then feel a change in my body, as if I was awakening from a dark sleep.

[Dracula POV]

Moments later, bats start to fly around the interior and exterior of the church. The pool then begins to boil at an intense rate, but it was not boiling with heat, it was boiling with immense power.

The pool then explodes with blood, and my son emerges from it, transformed.

"Welcome back my son, how do you feel?" I ask.

"Stronger, faster, and smarter." Says my son.

"Excellent, I will grab you a change of clothes." I say to him.

[Alucard POV]

Vlad gets a pair of clothes for me to wear, and I begin to put them on. As I put them on, I could feel a surge of power go through my body, like a rush of fresh air.

"This must be how you felt, when you got this power." I say.

"Not exactly, I only obtained this power to protect my people. I was dying, I couldn't leave my people unprotected." Says Vlad.

"So you drank Icarus' blood?" I ask him.

"Yes, but it wasn't until I met your mother, that the side effects of the blood were reversed." Says Vlad.

"Tell me about her, what was she like?" I ask.

"Your mother was a kind soul, and a very powerful witch. Her blood was able to cure the effects of Vampirism. We were married within three months, the night we United in love, she gave me her blood. I was, relieved of all of the weaknesses of a Vampire." Says Vlad.

"Also, she became pregnant, with you Drake." Says Icarus.

"The night you were born, was also the day she was murdered. For years I have mourned her death, but she lives on through you." Says Vlad.

"My name is not Drake is it? What is my birth name?" I ask.

"You were named after me, but it is my name turned around on it's head. Named after the dragon, Alucard which in turns means 'Son of The Dragon'." Says Vlad.

"So what now?" I ask.

"You are free to leave, but know that Icarus will always be watching over you. As will I." Says Vlad.

"Not yet, there is more that I want to know." I say.

"Very well." Says Father.

"These Vampires, they are not like the stories I heard, are they?" I ask.

"No, these Vampires are more Animalistic, and they give in to their primal desires." Says Father.

"Which means that crosses and holy water are ineffective against them, but only a few of the legends are true. Vampires are severely allergic to silver and garlic, but they are extremely sensitive to sunlight and UV rays." Says Icarus.

"But I am immune to all of this?" I ask.

"Yes, your blood is a type that is never seen before. That is why Maric wanted to kill you so desperately, he thought you would be a union between Humans and Vampires." Says Icarus.

"Maric is no doubt looking for you, once he finds you he will not hesitate to kill you. He will also have a group of Vampires and Demon's looking to tear you apart." Says Father.

"We took viable steps in preparing for your awakening, we will equip you with the weapons that you need." Says Icarus.

"So, you guys are going to give me old weapons that you used?" I ask.

"No, as they say, you have to get with the times." Says Icarus.

"Come, it is time that we introduce you to the rest of my house." Says Father.

My father then takes me into a room full of guns, swords and various other weapons. He then introduces me to his blacksmith and knight, Drauhl.

"Alucard, this is Drauhl. He is the man that took you to the Witches." Says Father.

"Hello there Alucard, I am glad that you are awake. I can feel your strength, it's immense." Says Drauhl with astonishment.

"You said something about Witches, do these witches have something to do with me?" I ask.

"Well, there were three witches that put you in the sleep stasis, and they instructed us to bury you in an unmarked grave." Says Drauhl.

"To hide me from Maric?" I ask.

"Yes. I had to betray him in order to protect you. He became a shell of his former being." Says Drauhl.

"Drauhl, we need you to give Alucard some weaponry." Says Father.

"I will give him the basic tools, so that he can defend himself." Says Drauhl.

Drauhl then hands me a leg brace full of Silver Stakes, and throwing knives.

"Thank you." I simply say before walking away.

"Alucard, now that you are awake, Vampires and Demon's will be hunting you down, including everyone you have gotten close to." Says Father.

"I am aware of that, but they will not stop me." I say.

"May I ask where are you going?"Asks Drauhl.

"I'm going to the place where I work, there's a body that turned up near Jackson Square."  I say.

[Maric POV]

Somewhere in the French Quarter...

So many bodies of people, so many bodies of meat, so little time. As I wandered the streets of this city, I see a restaurant that is busy with activity. I then go in, and I order a White Russian.

While I am sitting alone, a woman approaches me and she tries to make small talk with me.

"Hey there handsome, you must not be from around here." Says the woman.

"Why hello there, I must say you do look beautiful tonight." I say.

"Thank you, wanna dance?" She asks me.

"No, I don't dance. But I do want to go somewhere private, care to join me?" I ask her, while I look in her eyes with a seducing nature.

Moments later, we go into a bathroom and she begins to passionately kiss me. I can she that she is very agressive.

As she begins to get even more excited, I then begin to grab her by the neck, and I bite her. I then drain her of her blood, the taste as it goes through me is ever so delightful.

Her screams of pure agony and terror are like music to my ears. As she struggles to break free, she can feel her life slipping from her. Like a mouse caught in a trap, she then succumbs to her fate, and I get a sense of elation from it.

I then wipe myself off, and I leave the restaraunt. Like a true Vampire, I believe humans to be food, prey. That is why I will finish what I started, and I will kill Dracula!
