Luz's P.O.V.

Me and Eda were practicing Glyph Combos in the living room. I made a combo of the Light and Plant Glyphs. "What to call it," I said. 'Try Sunflower' A voice said in my head. "Thank you mysteriously familiar head voice," I said. "What?" Eda asked. "Nothing," I said. Eda looked at the Invisibility Glyph. "Maybe we could find a way to modify this Glyph so that we don't have to hold our breath to use it," Eda said. "Maybe," I said.

Theo's P.O.V.

I was in my room bored. But I wasn't allowed the castle unless it was for school reasons and my father knew when I was lying so doing that is a no-go. I looked at the potted plant on my bedside table. I tried to cast a spell to create an illusion of it but the Plant Glyph appeared in the Spell Circle which caused more plants to grow. I used a different spell to stop the plants from growing. "Stupid Wild Magic," I said. I picked the excess plants and threw them out my window. I sighed. I wished I had better control over my magic. I was lucky enough to get into Hexside without blowing it up. Mostly because my dad's the Emperor. The only thing that really kept my magic grounded was my Palisman Draco. He was a kind little dragon thing and i'm happy to have him as my Palisman. I heard a knock and my door and opened it with a spell. "Hello your highness," The Golden Guard said. "Hunter if you wanna talk to me seriously don't use my royal title. You may be adopted but that still means you're family," I said. Hunter took off his mask. "Look Theo I know I haven't been the best but you know you're father's wishes are for your protection," Hunter said. "What about the consequences?" I asked. "Look I know it's bad but that doesn't mean that you can just ignore it," Hunter said. "I'm not ignoring it. I'm trying to avoid it until it goes away," I said. "Look just don't get into anymore trouble or you'll be joining your siblings," Hunter said. "Tsk. Whatever," I scoffed. Hunter sighed and left my room. I didn't want to end up like my siblings. "Maybe I should just be the perfect prince. Like he wants me to be," I said to myself.
