"Okay, spill why did you convince Nathalie to give you the phone," Alya asked as the three friends sat in Alya's bedroom.
"There's a reason he doesn't want anyone to know what is on here, and we all know that he most likely ran away from home because of his dad, so, I think we should try unlock it ourselves, download the things we don't think he'd want them to see, and then delete it from his phone, we return it as if we had just unlocked it. Once we get into his phone I can reset his passwords so they'll never know what his original code was."

"You know Marinette I don't know how in a million years you thought of that idea but that is brilliant!" Exclaimed Nino.
"It's a great idea but how are we going to unlock it, it won't be as easy as last time M," said Alya.
"What do you mean last time?" Inquired Nino.

Marinette gave her bestie a glare that clearly said don't you dare tell him or you'll regret it, but since when did Alya ever pay attention to those.
"Marinette accidentally recorded a voicemail that included her confessing to Adrien, being clumsy person she is she pressed send, M then stole Adrien's phone so she could erase the message," Alya told Nino with a smirk on her face.

The couple burst out in laughter while Marinette tried to hide her reddening face behind her hands.
"These things only ever happen to you M," Nino said between laughs.
"So back on topic how are we going to unlock the phone girl?"

By herself Marinette would've asked Tikki to try but that wasn't possible right now.
"I'll take it to Max tomorrow."
"Good idea."

"Jeez is that the time already I should get back home," Nino said glancing at his watch.
"Me too, I'll see you guys tomorrow," Marinette added.
"Okay bye guys."

When Marinette got home she lay the phone on her bed.
"Tikki can you try opening it, I don't really want to draw Max into something unless it's absolutely necessary."
"Of course, there's no code I can't unscramble."

Tikki placed her hand onto the screen but then all of a sudden a tiny shock wave was sent through her and she let go of the device as though it had burned her.
"What's going on Tikki?"
"It seems that the codes are too well locked, I'm sorry Marinette but if I can't open it I doubt Max could."
"That's okay Tikki."

Tikki knew exactly why it wouldn't let her unlock the device but she couldn't tell Marinette. Kwami's had a special side power where they can prevent other Kwami's unlocking things. Every Kwami had a different effect on the locked item, it wouldn't hurt other Kwami's but it would certainly stop them. Tikki knew Plagg must have locked Adrien's phone as it gave her a shock like a minuscule cataclysm. The only way to open the phone was if Plagg unlocked it himself.

Tikki flew down into the spare bedroom. Adrien was in the shower and she could see Plagg by the cupboard eating cheese.
"Plagg!"
"Sugarcube! Have you come to join me for dinner?" Tikki rolled her eyes at his comment.
"I need you to tell me the password to Adrien's phone."

"Sorry Sugarcube but I can't let you tell Marinette, there are things on his phone that his father shouldn't see," Plagg apologised.
"I know and Marinette wants to help him, she was thinking if we downloaded the stuff so he'd still have it stored somewhere and then delete it off his phone so the police won't find anything, Marinette said she could change the password so they also won't know what it originally was."

Plagg thought for a moment, Tikki knew it was his thinking face though she still found it odd whenever her companion took things seriously.
"Okay fine, is Marinette still in her bedroom?"
"No she went out to go buy a hard drive to download the things on."
"Okay, I'll go and unlock it."
"Thank you so much Plagg!" Thanked Tikki giving him a big hug.
"No worries Sugarcube."

"Tikki! Tikki! Where are you?" Marinette called as she entered the house.
"I'm here Marinette," Tikki replied emerging from behind her. "I managed to unlock Adrien's phone."
"Really?"
"Uh yeah when I touched the device again I managed to unscramble it" Tikki quickly answered giving Marinette a big smile.

The bluenette was taken by surprise when she saw the phone lying on her desk unlocked. She did believe Tikki but the red Kwami didn't seem to be acting like herself, so the bluenette was wondering whether she got the full truth.

Marinette pulled out a cord that was attached to a hard drive. Marinette knew there might be something on his phone that she shouldn't see but it was either her or the police. She hesitated before clicking on the photos app, she sighed when it was just photos that she had as well, the police wouldn't have any interest in those. A sudden flash of red caught her eye and she saw a folder and clicked on it.

Marinette almost dropped the phone in surprise, it was a folder full of photos of Ladybug. She was a bit annoyed that none of the photos had Chat Noir in them, it was a common thing for Chat to be overlooked and pushed to the side but Marinette knew if it weren't for Chat Noir she'd probably be dead and she just wished that other people would see that too.

Marinette started to download all his notes, messages, history, pretty much his whole phone onto the hard drive. She deleted conversations on the phone that the police shouldn't know of but made sure there was enough evidence to show that he had been using it before he ran away. Marinette wasn't the sort of person to then go search through someone's phone but when she saw a folder named secret business she couldn't help but be tempted.

Marinette clicked on the folder, she was startled and concerned when she saw that it contained Ladybug identity theory stuff but her mood suddenly changed when she picked up on a floor plan of the Agreste mansion. She saw that there was an extra room and Adrien had written in his most beautiful and dreamy handwriting 'Butterfly butt's den' .

Marinette giggled slightly at the phrase, it was something that Chat would write. Just as she had the thought, the very same superhero walked in.
"Had a nice shower?" Marinette said giggling as he shook his dripping wet hair.
"Why do you ask?"
"You were in the bathroom for 45 minutes, and I thought I take forever."
"Cats need to be groomed you know."
"Oh really, I thought you lived on the streets."
"Meouch purrincess you wound me," Chat said dramatically.
"Pfft, drama queen."

Marinette turned back her computer which was just downloading the last of the files. Chat looked over her shoulder at the device that was plugged into the computer and instantly recognised it.
"Uh, w-where did you get that phone?" He asked stuttering.

"It's Adrien's phone, Alya, Nino and I went to the Agreste mansion because Mr Agreste wanted us to open it, Adrien seemed to have put some special codes on to keep everyone from unlocking his phone."

Chat's face morphed into one of confusion.
"How did you open it?"
"I Uh, Max helped me yeah, he and Markov uh hacked the codes."
"Interesting, well I Uh need to ask Plagg something."
"Okay."
