PROLOGUE

Mariam Faraj was known to a lot of the formula one drivers as a regular guest at their races.

She had actually gotten quite friendly with a few of them, which only meant that she would appear at even more races due to having invitations from them, but of course she did not mind.

It meant that she could spend more time with the drivers that were her friends, spend more time watching the sport that she loved, and even more time admiring reigning World Champion Max Verstappen.

The friends that she had met at the races knew about her crush on the Dutch man, it was very obvious to them, and it was adorable to them how she would always congratulate him on race wins and then run away to avoid embarrassing herself.

Those friends gently began to push the Dutch man towards her since they knew that actually felt the same as her, with the two of them absolutely adoring one another. Yet Mariam tried to deny it, out of fear.

That failed miserably.

Whenever they needed to find one another, they somehow knew exactly where to go, finding them all alone, it was a strange connection they had that they couldn't explain.

But they didn't want to.

As long as they were together and by each others side, nothing mattered except that they were in love.
