Trying to convince Mr valla is not so easy

Conducting business's through video call is tiring not to talk of trying to convince somebody like Mr valla to invest ..and to sum it up the knocking at my door is adding to my headache right now

Just what I needed ,an excuse to actually visit Lauretta and maybe just maybe I won't be a distraction to her.

Publicity matter a lot to my company and so attending all this kind of cocktail party is a must .

All through out my flight I thought of calling Lauretta maybe she won't want to see me or I might just distract her from my studies

"Well marriage has been one of the most wonderful decision I made when I was young .."

"Yeah marriage is blisss"

"No.no the wines are not cheep I just got here... you know work has been hectic for me and with jet lag and all I don't feel like adding hangover to the list "

Am I seeing double or what ?.because this lady that just came down from the car in another man arms looks exactly like Lauretta but Lauretta is not usually comfortable around men but this lady is looking relaxed and is smiling exactly the way Lauretta smile .

Maybe I am delusional .

With the way she turned immediately I need no prophet to tell me that she was not expecting me .

"Ekim . .Ekim it not what you think , this is Josiah my friend .Josiah meet my boyfriend Ekim ".

Maybe my eyes are saying the words my mouth refused to say but the way she quickly removed her arms from the waist of this guy told me she understood what my eyes are saying.

"Lauretta I can't let you go with a total stranger I mean you came here with me right ?"

Yeah. I am one hell of a stranger

"Josiah don't you get it he is my boyfriend and not a stranger and yes I came here with you but I am sorry I can't leave with you ."

Our little debacle is beginning to gain attention and this Josiah guy will not let go easily

The tension in this car can cut a paper. I could tell she is trying to say something with the way she keeps opening and closing her mouth .

"Have you had dinner yet? . come I will buy you dinner "

I parked my car and ushered Lauretta into the restaurant because God knows that she will sit down in that car and we will have' the talk ' according to her .

The presence of the Waiter was just a good distraction from the topic that is about to unfold right now .

"Welcome to royal palace restaurant what will you like to have ?"

"What do you want my love? "

"Water will do "

Just as I expected

"Please give us something sweet from your menus thank you "

"Lauretta it my fault . I should have called you that I am coming to Colombia so there is nothing for you to be sorry about "

Lauretta talked about everything and I just sat back and listened to all she has to say .seeing her after one year is just the type of distraction I needed in my life right now .

"Come my love let me drop you at your apartment".

All the way to her apartment she continued talking about her friends and her professors but I know the woman I love she is yet to ask the main question on her mind .

Here it comes .the ten thousand episode of Lauretta crying festival tonight

"Yes Lauretta "

"When are you going back ?"

"Few hours from now ".

"What !!!!!"

"Lauretta I have go back to work so many pending board meeting and calls and what not ".

"Do you have another lover now?".

"Lauretta!!!"

"Answer me Ekim do you ?"

"Lauretta, heaven knows I don't have another woman aside from you ,so please remove those negative thought from your mind".

With the way she banged my car door on her way out of the car I can tell all I just said went through one ear and left through the other .

I will have to pay the rental company for damages to their car

"Lauretta wait up please... You have to believe me I don't have another lover o-or woman "

"Ekim I know thei ..."

The only way to shut her up right now is to kiss her and I did just that . I poured all my love into the kiss so she will get the .message loud and clear .

"Lauretta I don't have another except you OK" . I whispered into her ears after the kiss .

"Ekim ..kiss me again "

Was not expecting that but I won't pass off a chance to kiss those lips that has been tempting me for a very long time.

"I love you Lauretta so much"

"OK now going inside the weather is cold and your dress ...."

"What about my dress ?"

"Oh nothing just that its beautiful and that is because the person wearing it is so beautiful".

"Go in now I have a flight to catch".

"You don't know how much I miss you Lauretta ".

"Don't you want to stay a little you can come inside for a few drinks".

"My flight Lauretta "

"Oh... OK come see me some other time alright".

I watched her enter her apartment before I drove off.

God know I would have honoured her invitation but I can't trust myself . I know that I am ready for the next stage but I don't know about her .
