Ignis was holding his notepad and had his hammer on his back, he was walking to the arena to register for a Brawl Ball match as Crow wanted his help to end his losing streak at the game mode.

Ignis wasn't far away as he was almost there but then he was approached by Jacky from behind.

Jacky: Hey there Ignis... Where'd ya been after we got drunk?

Ignis was worried that Jacky would freak out if he were to tell her he was with Colette yesterday. He began writing to Jacky and handled her a note.

"I was sleeping in the desert after the alcohol took effect on me"

Jacky then gave him a "Really?" look.

Jacky: Really or were you at Colette's house?

Ignis was shocked that she knew about his secret. He then stopped and turned to her and wrote another letter.

"Let's sit somewhere and we can talk"

Jacky: Alright then, but it better be a solid explanation otherwise I'll drill a *drill* hole on the ground and toss you in there.

The two then went to a rock and sat there.

Jacky: You got 60 seconds.

Ignis then began writing a letter to Jacky and it took exactly a minute to finish. He gave her the note and she began reading it.

"After I took you home and put you to bed, I was trying to go home but the alcohol effect took effect and knocked me out. Then I felt someone dragging me by my foot but didn't bother looking for who it was cause I was sleeping. I woke up at Colette's house and said that she was the one that dragged me here cause she didn't want me to fall asleep on the ground. And don't worry, she didn't do anything bad around me, she may be crazy as you claim but I saw her true colors and is a honest mortal with a sad backstory and I felt sympathy with her. Then I was found by Colt, Leon and Crow and they wanted to bring me back and so did it went good. Now I owe Crow a Brawl Ball match to tag along. No please don't extinguish me 🙏"

Jacky didn't want to believe this but she knew that Ignis is an honest individual and he would never lie to anyone, especially to her.

Jacky: Alright tin can, I believe ya! But I want something in return from ya.

Ignis then shrugged his shoulders.

Jacky: I want you and I to go on a date.

Ignis's flames turned a but red upon hearing that.

Jacky: What's the matter cat got your tongue, honey?

He began writing to Jacky.

Ignis: What time?

Jacky: Tomorrow at sunset, I don't expect a lot I just want it to be normal.

Ignis gave her a thumbs up but he soon then remembered that he had to go and tag with Crow at Brawl Ball. He began writing to Jacky in a fast paste and gave her the note and began running.

"Sorry, I wish we could talk more but I promised Crow that I would tag with him, see you tomorrow"

Jacky couldn't help but giggle as she watched Ignis run.

"Minutes later"

Crow was at the register booth with his arms crossed as he waited for Ignis. He then saw him running towards the bird.

Crow: Took ya long enough! Where have you been?

Ignis gave him a note.

"Was stopped by Jacky and had a small talk before coming here for you"

Crow: Talk, did you two like "smooch"

He motioned both his hands and made them like two mouths kissing, Ignis then flicked a small fire at Crow's face.

Crow: Ow, sorry!

Ignis then crossed his arms.

Crow: Let's just get registered okay.

The two then registered for a match and they were teleported to the arena.

Crow: That was fast.

They were fighting against the enemy team which consists of Pam, Jessie and Frank.

Crow: It's a tough team, who's our 3rd partner?
Mortis: Have much fear, Mortis is here!

The two turned to the vampire with a shovel.

Crow: Oh *drill*

Ignis then wrote a letter to Crow.

"Who's that guy?"

Crow: That's Mortis, probably the worst guy to fight in Brawl Ball and has a much worse streak than mine.
Mortis: How dare you, you stupid bird. I'll have you know that my excellence is undeniable.

Ignis then wrote something and turned his notepad around for his partners to see what he wrote.

"Wow, such teamwork -_-"

The bell rang and the match started, Mortis dashed to grab the ball but he was ambushed by Frank who swing his hammer on the ground and created a shockwave which made the vampire dash away.

Mortis: You fiend!

Jessie grabbed the ball the ball but Ignis ran to her and tried to swing his hammer at her but she dodged it.

Jessie: Oh no you didn't!

She began firing with her electrical rifle at Ignis but he moved away and managed to grab the ball.

Pam: Wham bam, here comes Pam!

She tried to gun down Ignis with her bolts, but then Crow fired his daggers at her and he continued to do so as it annoyed the woman and she turned her attention to the bird but he kept dodging his shots due to his speed. Ignis was close to scoring a goal but Frank used his super and stunned the fiery spirit before finishing him off but soon would later respawn.

Mortis: Bate witness to my fitness!

He kept dashing and tried to eliminate Jessie but Pam eliminated him for her.

Crow: I can't believe that idiot joined the game.

He then use super and threw daggers but soon jumped in the air and upon landing he threw another set all around him which hit everyone, he managed to eliminate Jessie and Pam.

Frank: Grrrr!

He smashed the ground with his hammer and hoped to eliminate Crow but he was too fast for him. Ignis then tackled Frank but he didn't collapse. Then the two giants faced each other as they held they're hammers.

Crow: Hammer vs Hammer, my bets on Ignis!

The two giants tried to strike each other with they weapons but they dodged them but Ignis was much quicker and he hit Frank with the hammer and stunned him and Ignis finished him off.

Mortis: Creatures of the night!

He used his super and summoned bats and it went to hit Pam and Jessie as he healed.

Pam: You creature!

She then launched her healing turret and began healing herself and her daughter.

Jessie: Say hello to my little friend.

She launched her own turret named Scrappy, it was a mechanical dog with a barrel for a snout as it began firing at the blue team. Mortis tried to took the turret down but got eliminated but soon to be respawned. Ignis facepalmed and threw a paper plane note to Crow as he caught it, he then read it.

"That guy is *drill* useless..."

Crow: You see I was right!

It was down to a 30 seconds as the teams were neck and neck trying to score they're own goals. Ignis used his forcefield super to protect himself and Crow while Frank was attacking them.

Pam: We have to tear down they're shield!
Jessie: Ignis is the team's strongest link.

Frank then used his super but he missed and the two tried to score but Jessie eliminated Crow and Ignis had to retrieve.

Soon the 30 seconds were gone and it was the tie breaker, the team that scores a goal automatically wins.

Pam had the ball as she was followed by Frank and Jessie. Crow and Mortis fought them off as Ignis stunned Pam with his hammer and he stole the ball from her and dashed to the red team's goal.

Pam: Come back here!

She began firing her bolts at Ignis but he dodged every shot. Frank then followed him ans tried to take him down and Ignis tripped and fell to the ground. Frank then stopped and measured Ignis for a strike down, he covered himself with his hands but suddenly Mortis dashed to the ball and scored a goal and it meant that the blue team won.

The crowd chanted "This is awesome!" over and over as Crow fell to his knees and cried with joyful tears in his eyes.

Crow: Finally my losing streak is over!

Ignis went to Crow and hugged the bird and then Mortis approached them as he wielded his shovel on his back.

Mortis: I told you that my excellence is undeniable.

He began making his way towards the exit but he was hit by a paper plane, he turned around and picked the plane up and he read the message.

"You brawl well, wanna tag along sometimes?~Ignis"

He looked at Ignis who gave the vampire a thumbs up and Mortis smiled.

Mortis: Of course, we shall meet again!

He then left.

Crow and Ignis left the arena.

Crow: I can't thank you enough for the victory you helped me gain Ignis, I just really can't.

Ignis gave the bird a note.

"It's nothing, we did our best and Mortis scored the goal"

Crow: Yeah, I always get my mark. I guess I'll see you again.

He then gave him a thumbs up and then jumped in the air as Ignis watched on before he made his way home so he can prepare for a date tomorrow with Jacky.
