Ignis was walking again, his leg recovered from the wounds as he was going down stairs until he heard a knock on the door.

He went down stairs to get it, upon opening the door it was Colt.

Colt: Hey there, I see your leg is all patched and ready to kick some butt?

Ignis wrote Colt a letter.

"You bet it, I am ready for some games!"

Colt: Today there's a special game and it's called Power Play.

Ignis motioned his hand for Colt to explain further.

Colt: Basically it's game that you can play a series of 3 random game modes, but here's the catch you need to have a Star Power.

Ignis gave Colt a letter.

"What's this Star Power you speak of?"

Colt: It's basically a special ability that boosts your own offense or defense.

Ignis then nodded and wrote something to Colt.

"Alright, help me craft a Star Power of my own"

Colt: I am all free man.

He laughed as he entered inside and Ignis closed the door. He lead the sheriff to his underground workshop which had all sorts of metalic materials and hammers, along with a huge anvil.

Colt: Woah, this place js amazing!

Ignis nodded as he grabbed a bar of gold and then wrote something to Colt.

"Go and make a fire on the furnace and then grab a bucket"

Colt: Aye aye Ignis!

He then went to a huge furnace which wss made from iron, the sheriff started a fire by lighting it up with a match.

Colt: Should I put some coal in the furnace?

Ignis nodded as he was preparing his hammer. Colt then threw some coal at the furnace and made the fire grow. Ignis then used the furnace to melt the gold bar while Colt grabbed a bucket.

Colt: Here's your bucket.

Ignis nodded as the gold melted into a small puddle and used tbe bucket to let the melted gold slip inside.

Colt: I see you have expirience in this.

Ignis nodded and then gave a note to Colt.

"What shape is the Star Power?"

Colt: Basically it's a star shaped figure with 8 sides instead of 5.

Ignis nodded ss he grabbed a small casket of the shape that Colt described and then poured inside it to form a golden star with 8 sides.

Colt: Now you need to draw some on the black circle inside it.

Ignis then pulled a lever and the gold wasn't sliperry anymore, he swinged his hammer multiple times and the gold was frozen solid.

Colt: Now what are you going to draw?

Ignis then pullef out his pen and drew a flame under a forcefield.

Colt: Awesome, also it needs a name, you have any suggestions?

Ignis wrote to Colt.

"I'll call it it Ring of Fire, it says rhay whenever I activate my forcefield it's surrounded by flames and whenever an enemy is close it damages them"

Colt: Now that's both offense and defense, I like it.

Ignis gave him a thumbs.

Colt: Let's go and get signed to Power Play.

They then left to get signed, but they soon got stopped by Jacky.

Jacky: Hey there Ignis, where ya going?

He was about to write something but Colt stopped him.

Colt: We were about to head to Power Play.
Jacky: Ah, I wish I could join you but duty calls like always. *mumbles* *drill* work...

She got closer to Ignis and whispered to him.

Jacky: Win it for me baby, I will be waiting for you.

She kissed him but accidentally burned herself before she left.

Colt: Alright, that's enough smooching for the day.

He laughed while Ignis flinged a small fire ball at Colt.

Colt: Ow! That hurts!

Ignis then motioned for Colt follow him as they went to Power Play.

"Minutes later"

They got signed but the catch was they were in seperate teams. Colt was in a team with Bea and Darryl, while Ignis was with Piper and Spike.

Colt: I thought I was suppose to be with Ignis?
Bea: With Ignis, yeah about that. Now you get drafted to random teams.
Darryl: Which kinda sucks right now!

Ignis looked around for Colt and saw that he was on the other side.

Piper: Ignis? This will be my first time teaming with you.

Spike gave a thumbs up to Ignis as he sighed imaginary about it.

Colette got up from her seat.

Colette: Look my favorite brawlers!!!

She pointed at Ignis, Spike and Piper since she lovef all 3, Ignis the most.

Colette: Hope they win!

The match started and the first game mode was Heist and they had to destroy the enemy safe.

Piper: Let's win this one team!

Ignis and Spike rushed forward as they saw Darryl who was walking to a bush, Spike threw a cactus ball at the bush and Darryl already escaped it but Ignis tackled him and swinged his hammer once at him before going to the safe.

Colt: Not so fast Ignis!

He began shooting down the fiery spirit and hit him a few times, Bea launched her bee at Ignis who jumped and hit the safe once. Bea used her Star Power "Insta Bee-load" and tried to hit Ignis again but Piper managed to snipe down Bea and eliminated her.

Darryl: Role the banks!

He used his super and activated his Star Power "Roaling Reload" and instantly reloaded his ammo and eliminated Piper, Spike tried to eliminated him but Colt got Spike while shooting at him with the boost of his Star Power "Magnum Special".

Darryl: Get him!

They ran after Ignis and Ignis activated his forcefield and thanks to his Star Power "Ring of Fire" flames surrounded the forcefield.

Colt: Forgot about that.

He tried to shoot down Ignis but little effect happened to his forcefield as he chopped down the safe.

Bea managed to sneak away and deal damage to the safe.

It wss neck and neck between both teams. Piper eliminated Colt, while Darryl just eliminated Ignis and he had to respond again.

Piper: We just need one more shot and we win this one

She aimed the safe with her umbrella rifle.

Darryl: Oh no you don't!

He tried to use his super and hit Piper but Ignis tackled the rolling barrel bot so he can let Piper take a shot and it missed Colt and Bea as it hit the safe and the crowd cheered.

The first victory went to the team of Ignis, Piper and Spike. They then got teleported to a VIP guest room.

Piper: That's one down, if we get Bounty then it's a free win for us.

Ignis then raised a finger but he was worried if his opinion would get rejected.

Piper: Anything want to say Ignis? You're free to talk hon.

Ignis then wrote something for Piper and Spike.

"What if we get something else? Like Brawl Ball or Siege?"

Piper: I am sure we can handle it.

Spike nodded his shoulders as he didn't knew how the outcome will come to play.

Then soon they were going to get teleported in 10 seconds.

Piper: Brace yourselves everyone.

Ignis was ready for what was next.
