Upon landing on the desert ground, Ignis knew that he was in Earth or "The Mortal Realm" as other demons call it. He began thinking of Lighterium, his childhood friend that helped him escape from enslavery from Barbatos, he was thankful for what he did, but he is worried for his life. Ignis had no other choice but to look for a place to live or for shelter in case a rainstorm occurs since he's all fire and if a single drop of water touch's his skin, it will disappear and take time to regenerate.

"Hours later"

He was walking on the desert for 2 hours, it was hot but he can take the heat since he's an embodiment of flames. Ignis then sat down to rest up, he looked at the sky with his expressionless face, he eyed the light blue sky with a few clouds surrounding it, he then imagined that one of the clouds was his father's face, Ignis actually loved his father and for everything he has done for him so far and to where he is now... But now his home is destroyed, he's an outlaw and a wanted man from Hell and his friend was also on the run. He knew that he had nothing to lose anymore and it was time to start a new life.

???: Hey! Are you lost?

Ignis got up and turned around to see a man with red hair, fair skin, black eyes. He weared a dark blue sleveless jacket with a white blue shirt, he had black pants with a belt that had two revolvers planted there, he also happened to have a sheriff's badge on the right side of his chest.

???: Woah, what the heck are you?

Ignis stood up and saw that he had revolvers so he held his hammer in self defense.

???: Woah woah, I am not going to hurt you, I just saw your from a far distance and to ask if your okay.

Ignis then approached Colt and also wrote to him on his notepad, he gave him a note.

"What do you want from me, mortal?"

???: Mortal? Ah, you must be some sort of a super natural being, where do you come from.

Ignis wrote him another letter.

"I come from Hell"

???: Hell? So your some sort of a demon?

Ignis nodded his head and began writing again.

"I am more of a fire spirit but a demon works too"

Colt: Well, the name's Colt by the way, what's your name?

Ignis began writing again.

"My name is Ignis, nice to meet you Colt."

Colt: It's nice to meet you too, Ignis. That's a cool name by the way.

Ignis was writing again.

"Thanks, it's Latin for fire"

Colt: Cool, anyways want me to take you to my town so you can have a place to be in.

Ignis was walking and was writing. He threw the paper in a paper plane form.

"It would be delightful, let's go"

Colt: Hey, wait for me!

He ran after Ignis and the two left for the town that Colt spoke of.

"Timeskip"

The two made it to a small town that had like a wild west theme to it. It was called "Brawl town" and it had a sign of 39 citizens. Ignis was intrigued by it and began writing to Colt and he trapped his shoulder with his hand covered by a metal glove.

"This town has like 39 citizens here, it's so small"

Colt: Well yeah, but somehow every two months we get a new person living here.

Ignis was writing again.

"What do you always do here?"

Colt: Well I usually go to a bar and then take a stroll. Wanna join me?

Ignis nodded and he placed his notepad behind his back and the two began walking to a bar called "Barley's". The two entered inside and saw some other brawlers here too. There was a skeleton that was dressed in a Mexican musician outfit and he had a guitar as he drank somewhat of a elixir type of beer, he wasn't alone as he had company from a man that weared a cap that was the head of an eagel and was dressed in an indian tribe clothing and from a boy that weared a chameleon type of hoodie. On another table, there were two women, one had blond hair and had a blue dress with an umbrella and the other one was tan skinned and had purple hair tied in a pony tail and a bandage on her left cheek, she also had a yellow bandana on her neck and was dressed casual clothing, she had a shotgun on the table too. Then they saw at the counter it was a robot that had a white moustache and was dressed as a bartender along with a bowling hat on his head.

Colt: Hey Barley, how's it going?
Barley: It's a splendid day Colt.

He then saw Ignis.

Barley: Who's your friend over there?
Colt: Well his name is Ignis and he's new here.
Barley: Nice to meet you Ignis, I am Barley.

Ignis wrote on his notepad.

"Nice to meet you too"

Barley: Oh, what's the matter, did a cat got your tongue?
Colt: Ummm he doesn't speak, I don't know why?
Barley: Well anyways what can I get you two gentlemen?
Colt: The usual like always.

Ignis began writing again.

"I'll have what he is having"

Although Ignis only drank tears and fire from Hell, he wanted to try something new for once.

Barley: Coming right up.

He left to get they're Drinks and the two say down at a table.

Colt: So how did you wind up here anyways if I may know?

Ignis nodded his head in a no and began writing.

"I don't fully trust you with this, I'll tell you when it is the right time"

Colt: Oh okay, also judging by that hammer are you by any chance some sort of a blacksmith?

Ignis nodded a yes.

Colt: Well I guess you made weapons like sword and shields?

Ignis nodded again and then began writing again.

"What do you and these mortals in this bar do for fun, like activities?"

Colt: Well we have events.

Ignis was writing again.

"What kind of events?

Colt: Events where we all fight each other.

Ignis was writing once again.

"You kill each other?"

Colt: Well yes, but actually no. When a person in a game he respawns, it's like virtual reality.

Ignis wrote another message to Colt.

"Explain these events to me, I am all ears"

Colt: Well we have a lot of events. First it's Gem Grab, when a team collects like 10+ gems they have to survive for 15 seconds and when the timer runs out, it's the end of the game. Next it's Brawl Ball, the team that scores 2 goals, wins the game. Next it's Bounty, teams have to fight each other for star points and the team that has the most points when the timer runs out wins the game. Next it's Heist, the team that destroys the enemy safe wins the game. After that it's Siege which is similar to Gem Grab and Heist, well more like a combination. You have to collect bolts to summon a robot, the more the bolts you collect, the stronger the robot becomes and the team that destroys the ike turret wins the game. Next it's Hot Zone, the team that takes control of certain zones and gathers up to a 100% wins the game. And finally you have showdown, it's every brawler for themselves and last one standing wins, and there's also Duo Showdown, which is 5 teams but with two people and the goal is to survive. And that's all to say.

Ignis was writing on his notepad.

" O_O Wow... That's somehow fun..."

Colt: Yeah it is.

He chuckled and then that caught the attention of the ladies that sat on the table.

Piper: My my, who is Colt talking to?

Shelly turned around and saw Colt talking to Ignis.

Shelly: I see Colt and a.... Fiery person in armor with a hammer...

Piper saw what she meant and she was shocked.

Piper: Goodness gracious, that person or whatever it is, is at least as tall as Frank.

She wasn't wrong, Ignis was nearly 7'0 feet tall and they were surprised to see him.

Shelly: Whoever that is, I wanna meet the senor and introduce him to myself.
Piper: That thing might be dangerous with that hammer, he might kill someone.

Shelly gave her a "WTF" look.

Shelly: Your just imagining things.

Then Barley delivered the two they're drinks, Colt began chugging the drink on his mouth while Ignis was slowly absorbing the elixir. Despite not having a mouth, he still consumed the substance.

Colt: You like what you drink?

Ignis nodded and placed the drink down and then began writing on his notepad.

"It tastes better than the fire and human tears I was drinking back at my home"

This actually weirded out Colt.

Colt: Wait, you drink tears?

Ignis wrote again.

"Yes, but to be honest it was kind of bittersweet, unlike how other demons say"

Colt: Well at least you are a honest person to begin with.

Ignis nodded.

Colt: Say, wanna tag along at showdown?

Ignis wrote yet again.

"You mean us teaming at Duo Showdown?"

Colt: Yes, I wanna see how you fight. You have that hammer of yours and you can swing it around and get ourselves a win.

Ignis nodded and wrote another letter.

"I am in, time for some destruction"

Colt: Sweet!

He drank the elixir in one chug and even weirded Ignis out as he finished his own. Colt paid Barley and the two got out of the bar and went to register for a Duo Showdown match.

Colt: This is gonna be your first, let's see how you will compared to the others.

Ignis wrote a letter yet again.

"When I kill people, will they be brought back to life like how you said earlier?"

Colt: Of course, I am not lying.

He then pulled out his revolvers and spinned them and shot in the sky.

Colt: I am about to unleash a bullet storm! What about you?

He pulled out his crafting hammer and slowly and gently tapped it on his right hand.

Colt: Oh, now I get the point. Let's go then!

He dragged Ignis by the arm and the two ran to register themselves.
