Lumber's POV

The beach was actually quite fun, but it got a bit awkward after Harry's comment. That kid has serious issues, he probably thought I really like Louis. I did, but only as a friend, I think.

But, in the back of my mind, I knew otherwise. Was it normal for me to think he was sort of.. Hot?

To keep up the pretense of us dating, we are kind of forced to go on dates. And lucky me, tonight is our first real, fake date. Oh, joy.

Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to go to the movies with him. But, like always we were expected to kiss. It was normal for couples to kiss at the theater, and since there would be millions knowing where we were, we barely had an excuse around it.

I decided to not dress up. I looked decent, because I didn't want people to send hate because of my appearance. Black jeans, and a cropped top. Nothing special. I also wore my favorite red high tops. Im not the biggest fan of makeup, so I wasn't wearing anything, Louis has already seen me without it.

As I waited for Lou to call my cell phone, I couldn't help but wonder how this incident is going to affect our friendship. I had barely any other friends, besides the boys. If we ever got in a fight, even if we are fake, I probably would be forced back to my parent's house.

Or.. College.

I felt my cell vibrate in my pocket, I was anxious now, I couldn't afford a mistake, it would reflect badly on Lou. And I didn't want to hurt his career.

"Hello?" I ask.

"I'm downstairs, Lumber." Louis says, quite fast. He doesn't say anything else, he just hangs up. It was a bit rude, but you had to expect that from Louis. Along with his loudness.

I practically rushed down the stairs, I was excited to be seeing the Hunger Games. Lou had never read the books, yet, but I have. I was just worried about be disappointed.

"LUM BUG!" Lou said as he gave me a bear hug.

"BOO BEAR!" I yell back, using Harry's nickname.

"TO THE THEATER!" Louis yells, in his Superman voice, taking off towards.. The bus stop?

I followed quickly in his wake, confused. He had a car, why weren't we taking it?
