-Lily's P.O.V-

Winter break is now over and I have just gotten on the train. Alice, Rachel, Jess, and I all enter the compartment that the Marauders always are in.

I mentally groan, but Rachel is dating Sirius, so whatever. I sit down between Alice and Jessica, and take out Hogwarts, a History.

I hear Rachel groan. "Come on Lily! Lets play a game."

I sigh and set my book down. "Fine, what game."

"Never have I ever" (Because Truth or Dare is coming later, don't you worry)

I'm handed a box of every flavored beans. "Really, every flavored beans?"

"Yeah, couldn't get fire whiskey." Sirius shrugs.

"I'd take the beans." I mumble.

"I'll go first!" Sirius says. "Never have I ever, swam in the ocean. Starting off simple."

I eat a bean, watermelon flavor thank merlin! I also see Alice, Peter, and Jessica eat one. "Okay, we are taking you guys to the beach." I laugh at Remus, James, Rachel, and Sirius."

They all nod. "Okay, Never have I ever, kissed a girl, family doesn't count!" Rachel grins.

I watch as Sirius, Jessica, James, and Remus eat a bean. I stare at James while everyone, besides Rachel and Alice, look at Jess.

"What?" She asks. "I was playing truth or dare, and I got dared to kiss the first person that answered the door to my neighbors house, and that just so happens to be my muggle friend Julia. We had a good laugh at that." She says shrugging.

I smile remembering that.

"Okay, my turn. Never have I ever had a boyfriend." I say.

Rachel, Jess, and Alice eat a bean. I look at the boys and see that they are all staring at me.

"What?!" I ask.

"It's just that, well we all thought you have had a boyfriend." Remus mumbles.

"I've been on dates, but for some reason, even when they say 'this was fun, we should do it again.' They never ask me out again." I tell them, shrugging a bit. To be honest I could care less about the dates I've been on.

I take another quick look at the boys and I can see James hiding a smile. I wonder why? And I am going to find out.

We continue the game until the trolly comes. I stand up to buy some candy. But I am stopped by James. "I'll pay. He tells me.

I blush a bit. "No, it's fine, I can pay."

He gives the lady the money. "To late, I already did."

I roll my eyes at him. He is sooo immature. U sit back down in my seat and take out a chocolate frog. I look at the card. Merlin, again.

I put the card in my pocket at take a bite out of the frog.

When I finish my frog, I close my eyes and before I know it, I'm fast asleep.

I'm shaken awake by Alice and we walk to the carriages. We all get in one, and we head off for Hogwarts.

When we get there, I hop out of the black carriage first, then we all run up to the huge castle. There is a welcome back feast and it's delicious. As always. I have chicken, potatoes, pudding, the works. I wish that all my meals could be like this.

"Lily pass the salt please?" I hear Jessica ask.

"What's the magic word?" I tell her.

She laughs. "Is it, alaczam?" I shake my head. "Abracadabra?" I laugh and shake my head again. "Hmm, is it please?" I grin at her and pass the salt.

James and SIRIUS looks at us like we are mental.

"What?" Jess and I say together.

They raise an eyebrow and SIRIUS says, "what was that thing you were just doing with the 'magic word' thing."

Jess and I start laughing, and she is able to say "muggle thing" before we lean on each other for support. I hear Alice and RACHEL join in on the laughing, and pretty soon the whole group is laughing. Then when Remus falls off his seat while grabbing on to SIRIUS and James to save himself, he brings them down with him and the whole hall starts laughing.

After a few minutes, we all wipe our tears running down our face and stand up to head to our dorms. "No that -giggle- was hil -giggle- arious" I laugh.

"You said it." Sirius says clutching his stomach.

We all walk to our common room still laughing, and Sirius and James occasionally cracking a joke.

We collapse on the couches in front of the fire.

"You know what guys?" I say.

"Hmm" everyone else say.

"This, is the beginning of a great friendship, I'm sorry for ever being mean to you four, well three, I've always been friends with Remus." The boys look at us and we (the girls) look at them. We grin at each other. "Okay, time for a cliché movie move!" Alice shouts.

"Movie?" James asks.

"Never mind, but GROUP HUG!" Alice laughs and we all move in for a group hug.

"Yup that was completely cliché." James laughs. "Anyways, we should get toned, it's pretty late and we have class tomorrow. "

We all agree and say good night.

When u am under the covers, I smile to myself. I guess something's change. I never thought I would even call James by his first name, and here I am. One of his new friends. Something's definitely change, for the good and for the bad.

A/N

Okay, I know I said I would update Monday, but then I didn't cause, well. I had no idea what to write. Then Tuesday I completely forgot, and yesterday was my last day of school and so I was downtown then at a friends house. I AM SORRY. Plus this is not my best work, but it's cute cause now they are all friends. I'll try and update before next Friday because I am leaving for a trip that I won't be able to have my electronics for a while. So yeah! Hope you won't take it out of your library cause I might not up date for 2-3 weeks, but as I said I have an excuse. BYE
