- Lily's P.O.V -

I wake up before anyone else and get dressed. I don't wait for my friends cause last night they woulden't stop asking about James and finally I just shut my drapes and went to bed.

I get down to the great hall with a few people at each table and the only sixth year Gryffindor was him. He Waves me over and sigh. I sit next to him and his face brightens. I blush and sit down doing my best to hide it.

"where are your friends?" I ask him.

"Could ask you the same." He smiles.

I shrug, "I was ready and hungry" I pile on pancakes and bacon.

He smiles, "Same"

"So Evans, happy to be back?" He asks after a few minuets of silence, his cheeks having a faint tint of red. Aww cute! I think. He is so adorable when he is embarrassed.

Wait, wait, wait! James Potter CUTE? ADORABLE! What has gotten into me! I silently scold myself and say, "Yeah, potions and charms mostly, In fact potions is my first class!"

"Cool, same!" He tells me grinning. I take out my class list and hold out my hand.

"Let me see yours." He hands it over and I scan it and scowl. "We past all the same O.W.Ls so we got all classes together." He grins wider "Great" He takes his list back and tucks it in his robes.

Both our friends sit down and Rachel, Alice and Jess give me a look. I roll my eyes.

"Hey guys" I say

"Whats up," Jess says then whispers, "with you and James?" She smirks.

"Nothing of importance, anyways I gotta get to class." I stand up and swing my bag over my shoulder. I walk towards the doors when I hear, "Lily!' I turn and see Alice shoving James, "He's coming with you!" Both our cheeks go bright red and he hurries over.

I scowl and walk out, while people whisper about things that I really hope were not us.

We head down to potions silently, James keeps trying to make small talk but I just ignore him.

'come on talk to him!' the stupid voice says. I ignore that to. We walk in and sit down.

With one minuet left our friends come in and sit down snickering.

"So" Sirius laughs, "Whats been going on between you two!"

"Nothing!" I defend myself. Sirius raises an eyebrow.

"Nothing" James confirms, sounding, hmm, disappointed? Naw can't be.

"welcome back class!" Professor Slughorn says shutting the door behind him. "for today we will be making amortentia. We will then have to let it sit until the week before Christmas break which is when we will finish it!, now let me give you your partners for the year." he takes out a sheet of paper.

"Lily and Sirius, James and Severus, Rachel and Alice, Jessica and Remus," He goes on until we all know our partners. "Now before you find your seats, I'd like to show you what your end results should look like." He takes off the cover to a potion and wonderful smells full the air.

"MMM" I smile.

"What do you smell?" James asks. I sigh and answer.

"I smell the ocean, the woods, books, hot coco, and, uhh, cinnamon." I say smiling.

He rasies an eyebrow. "What?: I ask him.

"Nothing" He smirks. "what do you smell?" I ask him.

"Camp fire, tartical tart, woods and Caramel Apple" He says in hailing again. I just roll my eyes.

- James P.O.V (short) -

Lily walks over to her desk and I glare at Sirius and he just shrugs. Snape walks to my table and we glare at each other. He sits down. and tells me what to do and we set to work, not talking once.

I keep looking over at Lily and Sirius, and back. I see Lily laughing at Sirius' jokes and I don't get it. I'm ginna talk to him. (see short!)

- Lily's P.O.V -

UHG I really wish I wasn't paired with Sirius! He never really works hard in potions, its so annoying.

'Or maybe because you want to be paired with James!' That voice says. I just shrug it off.

Sirius sits down next to me. "Hey Evans." "black."

I take out the ingredients and start working. Sirius, surprisingly, does whatever I tell him to and talks the whole time. He tells me stories of when him and James were younger. My personal favorite was when James ran outside topless while asleep, screaming bloody murder about something Sirius wouldnt tell me. Then he trips over a log and wakes up. I coulden't stop laughing. 

"Are you sure James would want you to say these things?" I ask him.

"Nope" He shrugs and looks down at the potion stiring it three times.

I roll my eyes. "So why can't you tell me what he was yelling about?" I ask him again.

He shakes his head in a dog like way. "Aww! Come on please?" I whine, pulling his arm.

He just laughs and shakes his head again. I just pout, then I think why do I even care! To be honest I have no idea.

- Sirius' P.O.V -

The bell ings and Lily leaves waving. I chuckle and pack up my things. When I get outside of the clasroom, James comes up to me. "HOW! How did you do that?" 

'Do what?" I ask.

"Get Lily all, Girly! You even got her tugging your arm!" He says getting real mad.

"James, calm down! Maybe she just likes me!" I smirk.

He starts fumming as Rachel and Julia walk up to us. "Who likes you?" Rachel asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Li- Evans."  James grumbles.

The girls look at eachother for a moment and then burst out laughing. "Y-you think that Lily l-likes you?" Rachel asks between laughs. I shrug. "Yeah right!" Alice laughs "Thats Rachel's job" Rachel stops laughing and I smile, with a small blush. "ALICE! Why would you say that!"

Alice brushes her off and say, "Besides she likes someone else."

"Who!" James demands.

The girls giggle and say "Nope" Then walk away. James scowls and says, "I got to go to class." and he walks away.

I don't know why but I have a feeling its James.
