Silly String
Narrator's POV
"Hah..." Stephen sighed as he once again opened his tired eyes.
Suddenly the cloak embraced him happily.
Stephen laughed. "Alright, alright." He smiled.
The cloak got off of him and floated around the room in circles before revealing a "Happy Birthday" sign made of shells on the wall.
Stephen smiled. "Thanks bud." He patted the cloak. Stephen got up, stretching. "Morning Randy." He said to the daisy before walking over to the bathroom and starting a shower.
Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
My lover stands on golden sands
And watches the ships that go sailin'
Began to play on the radio in the bathroom.

"Ngh!" Tony groaned as he stretched.
It was 10:34 am.
He got up and looked in the mirror of his bathroom, checking out his hair.
It was a mess.
He ran his finger through it and then messed it all up, making it even worse than before.
He laughed and turned on the water. He splashed water on his face.
Once done washing his face, he went back into his room to get dressed for the day. Today was a good day to start his plans with Stephen.
He was going to listen to Natasha's and Bruce's advise and see how it worked out.
"Today is a good day." He told his reflection in the mirror. "You got this. Even though you're a complete failure and have no chance with Stephen because he's out of your league, you're still gonna try and give it your best!" He said. "Tony Stark is not a quitter!"

"Oh my god this was a terrible idea." Tony said as the elevator stopped on the lobby floor. "Maybe I shouldn't do this." He said to himself as he walked into the breakfast lobby.
He spotted Stephen, sitting down at the table.
"Ah!" He gasped. "There he is." He whispered go himself. "Okay, act cool Stark." He let go of the breath he was holding on before going over to the table Stephen sat on by himself.
Stephen didn't even look up at him.
"Mornin'." Tony said, breaking the awkward silence between them.
"Good morning." Stephen responded.
Tony looked down at the mug in front of Stephen.
It was steaming, and there was a coffee colored liquid in it other than water.
"Wow, Stephen Strange drinking something other than water?" Tony asked.
Stephen scoffed. "Tea." He said, lifting the mug and taking a sip.
"And what may the occasion upon this tea drinking be for?" Tony asked.
"It's my birthday." Stephen said.
Tony blushed.
God, how could he have forgotten? This was embarrassing.
"Oh. Yeah." Tony said. "Of course."
"You forgot didn't you?" Stephen asked.
"What?" Tony laughed nervously. "How could I?"
Stephen raised a brow at him.
"Yes." Tony sighed.
"It's okay. I don't care much for my birthday." Stephen said.
"Oh." Tony said, playing with a napkin. "How come?"
"I don't really know how to celebrate it." Stephen said.
"What?" Tony let go of the napkin. "You mean to tell me that you've never had a birthday party?"
Stephen shrugged.
"We have to make you one." Tony said.
"Tony, it's fine." Stephen said. "I'm not that big into parties anyway."
"No Stephen." Tony said. "I'm going to throw you the biggest birthday party Hawaii has ever seen."
"You don't-"
"Sh!" Tony put a finger to Stephen's lips. "Don't say another word."
Stephen rolled his eyes.
"I am going to get you that party." Tony said, rushing off.
Stephen rolled his eyes, shaking his head. He looked back at his book, picking up his tea.
A small smile formed on his lips before he took a sip.

Stephen made his way down the hall to his room after a few hours of sitting at the pool and reading, taking a few naps occasionally.
He took out his card and opened the door.
"Hao'oli Lā Hānau!" People in his room shouted.
He jumped back a little.
There were fire spitters in his room, twirling sticks on fire while they spit fire out.
There were dancers swaying their hips and smiling.
They threw flowers at him.
There were tiki dancers, dancing as they played drums.
There was a lot of people in his room.
"Happy birthday Stephen!" Tony said coming from behind everyone with a volcano cake that had sparklers.
Fire works went off behind them outside.
"Uh...I..." He swallowed. "Um..."
"Just you wait til we go outside. I have so much pla-" Tony tripped over someone's foot, dropping the cake on Stephen's bed.
The sparklers caught the sheets on fire.
"Ah!" Stephen gasped.
"Oh god." Tony said, looking around for water. He took the bottle one of the fire spitters had.
"Wait! That's not-"
¡FOOM!
The whole bed caught fire.
"What did you do?!" Stephen yelped. "Everyone get out!"
Everyone rushed out of the room.
Minutes later, the fire department came to put the fire out.
The room had been totally burnt.
Tony had to pay a very expensive bill for that, not to mention getting kicked out of the resort.

Stephen had decided to take a walk on the beach, now that Tony had disappeared and had been seen nowhere for the past few hours after the incident.
He walked along the wet sand, watching as the water washed up all sorts of shells. He had picked up a few pretty ones for Madeline. He was really hoping to find a conch for her.
A few yards away from him, he saw birds flying around something.
Walking a little faster, getting closer, he noticed it was small group of baby turtles.
The birds would swoop down to turn them on their backs and pick them up.
A black bird picked up one.
"Hey!" Stephen threw a green aurora at the bird.
The bird dropped the baby turtle.
Stephen caught it before it hit the ground. "Hah..." He sighed in relief. He projected a large green shield over the baby turtles, making sure the birds wouldn't come to sweep them up. "Watching our for the little guy." He said.
Once all the little turtles had made it to the water, Stephen smiled.
"Good luck out there friends." He said, watching them swim away into the ocean.
Oh, and how the sun was beautifully setting in the ocean. It was truly a sight to see.
He sat on the sand, crossing his legs as he watched the sun set.
He noticed someone walking toward him.
It was Tony, wearing the cloak around his shoulders, carrying something.
"Hey." Tony said.
Stephen didn't say anything as he kept his stare on the sunset.
Tony sat next to him.
They shared a moment of silence.
"Sorry your party didn't go as planned." Tony apologized.
"It's okay." Stephen said. "I'm not that big into parties anyway."
"I did get you something." Tony said, getting something from behind him.
It was Randy.
"Oh my goodness." Stephen's face lit up. "Randy!" He took the plant from Tony.
Tony smiled.
"How did you manage to-"
"I grabbed him before we all rushed out of the room." Tony said.
Stephen looked at Randy, then at Tony. "Thanks." He said, setting Randy next to him, watching the sun go down.
It was silent between the two again.
"Hey." Tony said.
Stephen looked his direction.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go to another resort and stay there." Tony said.
"No." Stephen said.
Tony looked down at the sand between his feet.
Lightbulb.
"I have silly string." Tony said.
Stephen looked his way.
"Blergh!" Tony said as he put the can near his mouth and pretended to be throwing up the silly string.
Stephen smiled, rolling his eyes playfully. "Okay."
Tony stood up and stretched his hand out for Stephen. "Come on." He gave Stephen a welcoming smile.
Stephen smiled back at him and took his hand.

"Sorry guys, we only have one room for one person." The man behind the front desk said.
"Oh." Tony said. "Thank for the offer. We'll just-"
"We'll take it." Stephen said.
Both, Tony and the man looked at him.
"Are you sure?" The man asked.
"Yes." Stephen said.
"Alright." The man typed into his computer. "Here are your keys." He put the cards on the desk. "Room 205. Enjoy your stay." The man said.
"Thank you." Stephen said, taking his card and levitating toward the elevator.
Tony watched Stephen levitate away, then at the man behind the desk. "Did you hear..." He shook his head and hurried after Stephen. "Stephen! Stephen wait!" He called, running after Stephen.
The cloak held the door to the elevator.
Tony got in. "Thanks." He said.
It was quiet in the elevator.
Tony opened his mouth to say words.
"I'm not sleeping on the floor." Stephen said.
"That's fine." Tony said. "I will."
"But I also worry about your spinal structure." Stephen said.
Tony's eyes widen in shock.
Did Stephen just suggest they sleep in the same bed?
"Thanks." Tony said.
"Don't get used to it." Stephen told him, steeping out of the elevator.
