Narrator's POV

Tony opened his eyes only to lay them on the ceiling. He rubbed his eyes, shifting in his sleep.

"Tony..." He heard a moan.

He looked down at himself.

Stephen was wrapped around him, with his head on his chest.

"Sorry." He apologized.

"It's okay." Stephen said. "I was already awake anyway." He said.

"Oh." Tony said.

They laid in the bed together, quietly.

"Hey, Stephen." Tony said.

"Yes?" Stephen asked, tracing the arc reactor in Tony's chest.

"You know what I like about you?" Tony asked.

"What?" Stephen asked, looking at Tony.

"You're so smart, you're so pretty, you're so powerful, you're so pretty, you get things done, you're so pretty, you take things seriously, and did I mention you're so pretty?" Tony asked.

"Yes. Only about twenty times, but do go on." Stephen smiled.

"Oh, come here you." Tony said, taking Stephen by his hips and placing him on top of him.

Stephen laughed. "Well I like you for you." He said.

Tony raised a brow. "Wait, you like me for my personality?" He asked.

"I know." Stephen said. "I was surprised too."

"Shut up." Tony laughed. "Can I ask you something else?"

"Sure."

"Is this your first time in a relationship since you know...we broke up?" Tony asked.

"Yes." Stephen said.

"You're so...smooth." Tony said.

"Well, I just know what to do when it comes to you." Stephen said, leaning forward and kissing Tony's forehead.

"Aww, Stephen." Tony said, caressing Stephen's cheek.

Stephen smiled at him.

"Can I kiss you again?" Tony asked.

"You can kiss me whenever." Stephen said.

"Good." Tony smiled, pulling him into another kiss. He bit Stephen's lip, asking for permission to the inside of his mouth.

Stephen allowed Tony to enter his mouth.

Tony smiled in the kiss as he explored Stephen's oral cavity. He pulled away. "You still taste like strawberry." He smiled.

"You still like that?" Stephen asked.

"Very much." Tony said.

Stephen smiled and laid his head on Tony's chest. "Tony."

"Yes?"

Stephen looked to the side, staring out the window to the ocean, sighing. "Did you mean what you said last night?"

"I said a lot of things last night." Tony said.

"I mean the part where you said that you..." Stephen bit his lip. "...when you said that you loved me."

Tony looked down at Stephen, giving him a soft smile. He wrapped an arm around Stephen's waist and placed a hand behind at Stephen's nape. "Yes." He answered. "I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it."

Stephen exhaled.

"Why?"

"I don't know..." Stephen sighed. "It's just that sometimes... It really scares me."

"What scares you?" Tony asked.

"To love someone so completely and not have them love you back." Stephen said.

"Stephen, look at me." Tony said.

Stephen turned to Tony, placing his chin on his chest and looked up at him.

Tony gave him a soft smile. "You don't have anything to worry about, Stephen. I love you, and I mean it."

Stephen smiled.

"You look so pretty with that smile on your face." Tony said.

Stephen let out a little snort.

"What?" Tony asked.

"You look funny with that double chin." Stephen said.

Tony scoffed. He reached behind himself and stuffed a pillow in Stephen's face.  "I was trying to be sweet."

Stephen laughed.

"I need to be taken out." Tony sighed, falling back in bed.

Stephen removed the pillow from his face. "Like on a date or by a sniper?"

"Surprise me."

"Come on, Tony." Stephen said as he pulled Tony by the hand down the hall to the elevator.

"What's going on?" Tony asked.

"I have an adventure packed day for us today." Stephen said.

"Really?" Tony asked. "Where are we going?"

"We are going to the Sea Life Park." Stephen said.

"Like an aquarium?" Tony asked.

"Well, not exactly." Stephen said. "It's a park where the animals can roam free in the ocean, some of them anyway, but there'll also be plenty to see in their facility."

"Have you ever considered becoming a veterinarian?" Tony asked Stephen.

"Well, I wanted to be one when I was younger." Stephen said. "But then helping actual people really drew me in after taking my first few anatomy classes."

They boarded the elevator, and Tony clicked the lobby button.

"You've done heart surgery, yeah?" Tony asked Stephen.

"Yes?" Stephen said. "Oh god." He pulled out a pair of medical gloves from his pocket. "Is something wrong? Did I mess with the arc reactor? How much pain are you feeling?" Stephen said, putting the gloves on quickly.

"Because I think you need to check out my love for you." Tony winked at him.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Stephen shouted. "I thought you were having actual problems. Holy fuck-" Stephen gasped.

Tony laughed. "Oh, relax."

"That's not funny." Stephen said.

"Did you see the baby otters?" Tony asked Stephen, who was eating some cotton candy and holding a dolphin stuffed animal.

It was for Madeline. He knew how much she loved dolphins.

"Yes. They were adorable." Stephen said. "They were having a cuddle party."

"We should have one of those sometime." Tony said.

Stephen rolled his eyes, smiling. "Oh, hey. What time is it?"

"Pay attention to me and love me time." Tony said, fluttering his eyes at Stephen.

"Tony, I'm serious." Stephen said. "I have something pla-"

"Did I ask for an excuse?" Tony asked.

"Tony." Stephen said.

Tony laughed. "Fine. Fine." He said, looking down at his watch. "It's seven twenty four."

"Great." Stephen said. "Come with me." He took Tony by the hand.

"Wow, where did you find this?" Tony asked, staring at a bridge made of wood planks and ropes that lead to a lighthouse.

"I found it when I was taking a late night stroll." Stephen said, stepping on one of the wooden planks.

"Um, are you sure it's safe?" Tony asked.

"Perfectly safe." Stephen said. "Watch this." He said, waving his hand.

The wooden planks on the bridge turned into piano keys.

Stephen stepped on one, playing a note.

"That's awesome!" Tony said, putting his things down.

"Not as awesome as this." Stephen said, running down the bridge and making a melody.

Tony smiled at Stephen, laughing as Stephen ran across the bridge to make music or try to at least.

There were few sweet notes accompanied by some off key ones.

Stephen did a hand stand. "Save your applause for the end please." He said, turning on his hands and letting himself fall forward.

Overlapping keys played.

Stephen stared at the sky above him, panting for air. He heard keys playing, coming closer to him.

Tony's face appeared in his view. "That was beautiful." He said.

"Thank you." Stephen said. "I made it just for you."

"Well, it was wonderful." Tony said. "Thank you." He said, kneeling above Stephen and leaning down, giving him an upside down kiss.

They pulled away.

"You're welcome." Stephen smiled at Tony.

Tony moved around, making keys go off. He laid down next to Stephen, watching as the stars began to emerge from the sky while the sun disappeared. He took Stephen's hand in his.
