Learning to Get Along
Narrator's POV

Stephen and Tony stepped into their room.
It wasn't much different from their last ones, except that it had only one bed.
"Okay, good. They have a coffee maker in here." Tony said. He walked in the bathroom and turned on the light to plug his phone in.
Stephen rolled his eyes and went to set Randy by the window even though it was already dark outside.
The cloak came in and turned on the television.
"I don't think so pal." Stephen said, taking the remote and turning the television off. "It's a little late to be watching television."
The cloak slouched.
Tony peeked his head out of the bathroom. "Oh, come on Stephen. The next episode of Amór Ardiente is playing tonight."
"You watch that?" Stephen asked.
"It's actually pretty good." Tony said.
"Alright fine, but I don't want the volume louder than ten." Stephen said.
"Twenty five." Tony said.
"Ten."
"Twenty."
"Ten!" Stephen hissed.
"Okay, ten." Tony said. "Sheesh."

"Well? Rosanna will you stay by Julio's side til death do you apart?"
Tony and the cloak watched.
They were on the edge of the bed.
It was very intense.
Stephen was reading, eating a red cup of Jell-O.
"Rosanna, what's wrong my love?"
"Julio... I cannot marry you. I don't love you. I love Emilio!"
"Yes. Be happy Rosanna." Tony said. "Run to your love." He said, watching the female run down the isle toward Emilio, who was sitting in the back in one of the pews.
"Rosanna. What happened to what we had?"
"It was nothing. I'm sorry, I didn't know how to tell you."
"Julio. I'm sorry."
"No, Emilio. If I can't have you, Rosanna... Then neither can he!"
>Pow<
"Ah! No." Tony gasped.
Rosanna screamed.
Emilio was dead. Dramatic music came from the television.
"Nooooooooo!" Tony cried. "You asshole!" He shouted at the television. "How dare you? After everything she's been through with you, you're gonna go ahead and take her love?"
Stephen scraped the sides of his Jell-O cup to get the last bits. It was taking too long.
It'd be a lot easier with a bigger soon.
He sighed. "I need a big spoon." He said.
Tony's head perked up.
Stephen set the cup aside and laid down, sighing and closing his eyes.
Ah, finally some rest.
Stephen's eyes sprung open when he felt something press against his back. He looked over his shoulder to see Tony cuddling him.
"What are you doing?" Stephen asked.
"You said you needed a big spoon." Tony said.
"Yeah, for my Jell-O." Stephen said.
"Oh." Tony said, backing off.
Stephen shook his head, scooting away from Tony. "Jesus." He said under his breath. His cheeks tainted red.

All the lights were off.
The television was turned off.
And the curtains were closed.
The two were finally asleep under the covers.
From an early age, Tony had always been a kicker in his sleep.
There was no way Stephen wasn't going to get kicked tonight.
Tony accidentally kicked Stephen while he (finally) slept.
Stephen quickly turned to Tony. "You wanna fucking die?" He asked.
Tony woke up. "Kinda." He whispered tiredly.
"Tony...no." Stephen said softly.

You broke my heart when you said we'll part
Ain't that a shame
My tears fell like rain
Ain't that a shame
You're the one to blame
Tony's tired eyes fluttered opened when he heard jazz music coming from somewhere in the room.
He looked at the television.
That wasn't it.
He noticed Stephen wasn't lying by his side anymore.
Oh well goodbye
Although I'll cry
Ain't that a shame
My tears fell like rain
Ain't that a shame
You're the one to blame
Singing accompanied the song.
Was that Stephen singing?
Tony sat up, rubbing his eyes and stretching before walking over to the bathroom with a towel over his shoulder. He grabbed a tank top and some boxers.
Where was Stephen anyway?
Setting some coffee to brew, Tony opened the door to the bathroom.
Stephen stood in front of the mirror wearing a pair of dark undergarments, brushing his teeth.
"Don't mind me. Just gonna take a quick shower."
Stephen didn't say anything and went on with his teeth brushing.
Tony stepped into the shower.
Not long after his shower, he stepped out. He was a little surprised to see Stephen still at the mirror. Without saying a word, he took a spot next to Stephen.
Stephen had just finished.
Tony looked in the mirror.
Stephen sighed as he recognized the song coming on the radio now.
When the right time comes along
I wanna hold you in my arms
Hold you close
To me baby
And tell you of your charm
Oh yes, your charms
When the right time comes along
I want to squeeze you
Oh so tight
I wanna squeeze you (squeeze you)
And squeeze you (squeeze you)
Ooooh squeeze you baby with all my might
The two stood in silence as the song in the radio proceeded to play an instrumental.
Stephen wipes the back of his neck with his shirt clear of some condensation from Tony's shower.
Tony gave Stephen's physique a quick glance, looking away before Stephen could catch him.
God, he still had that beautiful body.
So I'm waiting
Patiently waiting
For the moment when you look my way
But then I won't speak a word
Cuz my eyes are gonna say everything I wanna say
When the right time comes along
I wanna give you all my love
I wanna kiss you (kiss you)
And kiss you (kiss you)
Oooh, kiss you good and strong
When the right time comes along
Strike a conversation you idiot.
"So..." Tony said.
Stephen looked at Tony's reflection.
"Boxers, huh?" He asked.
You perv.
"Hm?" Stephen asked.
Tony pointed poked his own hips, indicating the undergarments to Stephe.
"Oh." Stephen said. "Yeah." He blushed, trying his best to not be noticeable.
"You never really seemed like a boxers guy to me." Tony said.
"Well, I decided to try them after I remembered something dumb that happened when we were kids." Stephen said.
"Oh really?" Tony asked. "What was it?"
Stephen smiled. "The first time you took your shoes out for a fly and landed in a tree. Bruce and I saw your teddy bear or flamingo boxers. I can't remember."
"I think I remember that." Tony said. "I was hanging down for a tree."
"Yeah." Stephen said, remembering those good ole days.
"I was so embarrassed." Tony said.
"You don't seem like the shy type." Stephen said.
"Most of the time I'm not, but when it comes to certain things. Yes." Tony said.
"Ah." Stephen said, picking up a comb and running it through his hair, fixing it.
I wanna kiss you (kiss you)
Oooh, kiss you (kiss you)
Oooh, kiss you you good and strong
When the right time comes along
Tony listened as Stephen hummed along to the song. He smiled, remembering all those times Stephen sang and hummed along to music in the bath when they were kids.
The wizard hadn't lost his love for music after all.
I'll squeeze you
I'll hold you
I'll kiss you
Stephen finished when the last note dragged out into silence. He walked out of the bathroom.
Tony smiled, blushing and continued to wash his face.

Stephen sat on the edge of the already made bed, reading as Tony walked out of the bathroom.
Tony had made coffee.
He took it out and poured himself a cup.
"Ah!" He groaned.
Stephen looked up at him.
Tony turned to him. "I burned my finger." He said. "Could you kiss it to make it better?" He asked.
"Sure." Stephen said, waving a hand for Tony to come.
Tony came to him with a smile on his face. He put the finger in front of Stephen.
Stephen looked at the finger and smiled at Tony before leaning forward and biting his finger.
"Ah-"
