A Secret

Narrator's POV

"I'll see after Decathlon practice, May." Peter said, grabbing his bag and heading out the door.

"Hold on, mister." May said.

Peter turned to her.

"You can't leave without a kiss from your Aunt May." She said, taking his face in her hands and kissing his cheek.

Peter blushed, laughing a little. "May." He said. "Come on, I gotta go."

"In a minute." She said, kissing his cheek again.

"Aunt May." He groaned.

"Alright, alright." May let him go. "Have a good day at school, call me when you get out."

"I will." Peter said, closing the door behind him. "Hah..." He sighed, leaning against the door. He rolled up his jacket sleeve, checking out a new web shooter he had made.

A smile formed on his lips.

"Let's take it for a spin." He said to himself.

Peter's POV

Hi. My name is Peter Parker, and for the past two six months I've been the one and only Spider-Man.

It wasn't kinda weird how this happened.

I got bit by a spider while I was cleaning out some stuff from my Uncle Ben's office.

It wasn't just a regular spider. This spider was weird.

I remember that night I had cold sweats, growing pains, and my sensitivity senses became hyper active.

It wasn't as fun as it sounds.

I didn't have any clothes to wear for three days because I had outgrown all my old clothes. I had to do a lot of shopping.

But it wasn't all that bad.

I suddenly had abilities I never thought were possible. I could jump extremely high, get stuck onto walls, had extremely fast healing abilities. I made a couple of web shooters to help me get around.

These made it a lot easier to get around than riding around in a bike or running by foot.

I decided to use these powers to fight crime, as my Uncle Ben used to say.

Hm...yeah...

Ole' Ben left us unexpectedly.

I will always remember him as the great man and caring father figure I knew.

With great power, comes great responsibility

Anyway, no one knows, and no one can know.

Even though I've only been fighting against small crime and helping out the neighborhood, it's dangerous to reveal my identity.

There are plenty of dangerous people out there, and I wouldn't want to get involved with them. That's what the Avengers are for.

But you know, us guys on the side lines hotta have our own victories. Looking out for the little guy.

"Hey look, everyone! Penis Parker came dressed as an elf today!"

"Hm?" I looked at myself.

I had grabbed a pair of the smaller jeans. I must've forgotten to throw them out.

"Hah..." I sighed, walking along the hallway.

Narrators's POV

"Hey, Peter." Peter's head perked up when he heard his name.

Harry made his way to him.

"Oh, hey Harry." Peter greeted him with a smile.

"Wrong pants, huh?" Harry shrugged.

"Yeah. I left the house in a hurry this morning. Couldn't wait to try out my new web-" He stopped himself. "Web. As internet." He said. "It works best around some areas of New York."

"Alright." Harry laughed. "Don't freak out, I've got an extra pair if you'd like."

"Yeah..." Peter chuckled nervously. "That'd be...that'd be nice."

"So, you got anything going on after school today?" Harry asked as he walked along with Peter in the crowded school halls.

"You know, just the usual. Decathlon stuff, and helping my aunt out." Peter said.

"You're always busy." Harry said. "When are you ever gonna have time to have fun? Hm?" He nudged him. "You gotta slow down sometimes, you know?"

"I know. I know." Peter said. "But if I wanna get into a good school and be successful in life, I gotta-"

"Lighten up." Harry said, messing up Peter's hair.

Peter laughed. "Alright, I'll try." He said.

"See you, around Peter Parker." Harry said, holding out a peace sign to his friend and walking into his next class.

"Dude, you're never gonna believe this."

"Hm?" Peter turned to his best friend coming toward him. "Oh, hey Ned."

"Dude." Ned took him by the shoulders. "Okay, so you know that spider kid from YouTube?"

"Yeah. I think he actually goes by Spider-Man-"

"Anyway, yesterday I was playing games in my room like usual; and I saw him swinging past. So I went to check out what he was doing, and he took down a thief right in front of me." Ned said.

"Really?" Peter asked, putting his books in his locker, smiling as he listened to his friend blab on about him.

"Yeah. He shot these weird clear strings that were sticky." Ned said. "Almost like webs."

"Exactly like webs." Peter said.

"Although, I think he could do better with his costume." Ned said.

Peter closed his locker and walked along with him. "I don't know, he's busy a lot of the time so I don't think he really has time to put a real cool one together."

"I mean, he could at least use something cooler, you know." Ned said. "He could easily make something with some padding in places that would make him look more intimidating."

"I don't know. I think he's pretty buff."

"He looks like a noodle armed kid." Ned said.

"Hey, I-"

"But what do I know?" Ned said.

Peter listened.

"He's making sure that we're all safe, and that crime's being taken care of." Ned said. "That's all that matters, keeping the neighborhood safe and friendly."

Peter smiled. "Yeah. Like a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man."

Ned looked at him. "Yeah." He smiled. "Just like that. Hey, you think maybe one day he could..."

Peter listened to his friend go on and on. He admired how Ned admired him.

Ned was definitely his number one fan, and that made him happy.

"I told you he's fine." Tony said, looking at a screen, watching Peter walk by with his friends. "You just worry too much."

"I know." Stephen said. "It's just been years since we've seen him. What if something happens to him?"

"Stephen." Tony turned to him. "You've seen what he can do. What he's capable of. He can take care of himself." He saw the sad expression on Stephen's face. "Hey." He said softly.

Stephen looked up at him.

"You're just afraid that he's forgotten about us." Tony said.

"I just miss him." Stephen said.

"I know." Tony kissed Stephen's cheek. "Me too." Tony noticed this wasn't making Stephen feel any better. He rolled his eyes. "Fine. We can pay him a visit."

"Yes!" Stephen jumped up. "I'll get my bag."

Tony rolled his eyes, playfully.

Even after all these years, he still loved this big sap.

"Ready?" Tony asked, when Stephen came back.

"Yes." Stephen took him by the hand and kissed Tony's cheek.

Tony smiled. "Come on."
