Welcome to the Host Club!
"Here we are!" the twin on my left announced, both of them stopping us in front of a set of large double doors. "Music room three..?" I read the sign above the door aloud, glancing back and forth between them in confusion. They only smiled back. "Why are we here?" Instead of answering me, they pushed the doors open. Rose petals swirled around and a voice called, "Welcome, princess." My eyes adjusted and the petals fell to the floor, allowing me to see inside. Four boys surrounded a chair, where the owner of the sugar-sweet voice sat, watching me with a slight smile. I noticed the boy who had saved me from the twins' harassment earlier. "Hi Haruhi," I smiled. He waved in response. "Anyone care to tell me why Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum kidnapped me?" I asked, hooking my thumb over my shoulder in a gesture to the twins. A tall boy with short black hair glanced at me passively as he pushed up his glasses, and I could see the corners of his mouth tilt up in the slightest smirk. "Ah, dear girl, I had them fetch you for me. I apologize if they were rude," the one in the chair said, running a hand through his pale blond hair as he stood. As he came to stand in front of me, I noticed his royal blue eyes seemed to sparkle. "I am Tamaki Suoh. Welcome to the Host club!" he grinned. The twins had left my side at some point, and were now busy taunting Haruhi. "Excuse me," Tamaki said with a charming smile. In a split second, he was chasing the twins around, waving his fists as he screamed, "You two evil dopplegangers leave Daddy's precious girl alone!! You don't touch my Haruhi!" I stared quizzically at the others. "Haruhi's a girl?" I asked. He-- no, she-- nodded. "Yeah, I am," she answered, standing next to me. "That's Mori-senpai and Honey-senpai. They're third year students," she whispered. "He is a third year?" I asked in disbelief, pointing to the small blond boy holding onto a stuffed bunny for dear life. "Yeah. The twins are Hikaru and Kaoru. They're not so bad." I turned to say something to her, but I saw she was gone, off to help Hikaru and Kaoru. I felt a small tug on my arm and looked down at Honey. He wasn't too much shorter than me, just a couple inches. "Hi," he grinned. "Hi there," I smiled back politely. "Can you tell me why I'm here?" He nodded, staring up at me with his light brown eyes. "Sure I can! This is Usa-chan, by the way," he giggled, holding up the stuffed bunny. The other guy just stood behind him silently. Jeez, I think he was taller than my dad! "Tama-chan wants you to join the host club," Honey cheered. Haruhi smiled weakly as she plopped down onto a couch, "It could be fun," she added, slightly out of breath. "I mean, it would be nice to have another girl around, I guess." The one in the glasses looked up from his laptop. "I am Kyoya Otori. I assume you are in the same class as Haruhi and the twins?" he asked. I nodded and he continued. "The purpose of our club is to entertain other students. We wanted to extend an invitation for you to join."
The twins soon fell onto the couch next to Haruhi, panting heavily. Tamaki was standing in front of me once again. "My dear, the host club is where the school's handsomest boys with too much time on their hands entertain young ladies who also have too much time on their hands," he explained, flashing a charming smile. "Just think of it as Ouran Academy's elegant playground for the super rich and beautiful!" Honey tugged my arm again. "What do you say Addie-chan? Will you join the host club?" he asked, giving the most adorable pouty face. I looked around at everyone and shrugged, smiling a bit. "Sure, sounds great," I agreed.
Suddenly, the air was knocked from me and I was off of the ground. "Oh yay!! I have another precious baby girl! Daddy is so happy!" Tamaki cheered, tears coming to his eyes. "Put me down bibitte! I am NOT your daughter!" I growled, swatting at his head furiously. He set me down and scurried to a little corner. "Such fowl language from such an adorable little girl. Why is she so angry with her father Mommy?" he whimpered, rocking back and forth. "I can't say that I know...Daddy," Kyoya sighed, half of him wanting to remain indifferent and the other half annoyed. "Does he do that a lot?" I snickered quietly, sitting on the arm rest beside Haruhi. "Oh yeah. All the time," she replied. We both saw each other rolling our eyes at the same time, which made us both laugh. Immediately, Tamaki was standing behind me, grinning again. "Isn't this just lovely? My two little girls getting along already!" he cooed. I rolled my eyes again and tried to hold back a stream of curse words as he laid an arm across my shoulder. It was going to be a loooooong school year.
So, what do you think? It's a bit longer than the other chapters and I hope the rest of the chapters will be like that too! ^_^ I'll probably update again this week so read, vote, comment, and enjoy!!
