~Chapter 4: New School~

Roxanne's POV:

I suddenly opened my eyes at the sound of excited shouting. I looked up at the figure who was shouting. It was Lynn, of course. I yawned and sat up, stretching a little.

"Come on, come on, come on! It's your first day at our school, you can't be late, Rox!" Lynn exclaimed.

I smiled a little and nodded, "Alright! Alright! I'll meet you downstairs, okay?"

She nodded, an excited smile on her face.

I got up and stretched fully, patting Lynn's head. I watched her walk out of the room, closing the door behind her. I chuckled and shook my head, walking over to the dresser. I grabbed some clothes that somewhat matched and got changed. I looked at myself in the mirror at the outside and shrugged it off, nodding in.. Somewhat approval.

(A/N: This is Roxanne's outfit, just so you all get an idea!)

I grabbed my black beanie and shoved it in my pocket, walking to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, washed my face and combed my hair. You know, the usual routine.

I put my beanie on and looked at myself, smiling at what I see.

Dad says I don't dress how he imagined I would dress but he still supports me. That's what matters, right?

I walked down to the second floor, knocking on Dynamite's door.

"Come on, Dy! Let's get going!" I proclaimed.

I heard him shout as a response.

Guess he really isn't in the mood for this today, which I completely understand. But he isn't the new kid in school, is he? Nope. That's me. All me.

I walked down to the first floor and walked into the kitchen, seeing Dad and Uncle Charlie talking and laughing. I grabbed a bowl and some cereal, grabbing milk afterwards.

"Morning Rox!" Dad said.

"Ugh.. Again? You know I hate that nickname." I replied.

I heard Lynn giggle quietly which made me smile ever so slightly. Well.. As long as she's happy, I guess it's alright.

~Small Time Skip~

I finished my cereal and placed the bowl in the sink, seeing Lynn and Dynamite finish their breakfast. I grabbed a bag that I could use until we actually get me a backpack and looked at the two again, "Ready?"

They nodded in unison, "Ready."

I nodded back and waved Dad and Uncle Charlie goodbye, walking out the door.

"So how bad is it for you to not wanna go to school?" I asked Dynamite.

He rolled his eyes, "There's people who are complete assholes.. I hate them with a burning passion."

Lynn sighed, "Dy, what did I say about using the word hate?"

Dynamite groaned and shook his head, "Okay, okay, I'm sorry."

I shook my head and smiled at the two, "You two really are brother and sister."

We all shared a good laugh, walking close enough to see the school. It actually doesn't look half bad.

I think this won't be too bad.

We walked into the school and I looked around at my surroundings. There's a lot more people than there was at my old school, which isn't bad cause then I can distance myself somewhat if something would happen. I'm not saying anything will happen but I'm sure you know what I mean.

I looked at Dynamite and Lynn, "Where's the Principal's Office?"

Dynamite pointed down the hall of lockers then pointed to the right, "You'll see a sign that says Principal's Office. You'll get used to this in no time."

I nodded and waved them goodbye, walking down the hall and sighing. I turned right and walked into the Principal's Office. I looked around and looked at the Principal, waving.

"Hello! I'm the transfer student."

The Principal smiled, pressing her classes closer to the bridge of her nose so they wouldn't fall, "Oh hello! You must be Roxanne, correct? O'Neil?"

I nodded, "Yes Ma'am. That's me."

She nodded and handed me a folder of a few papers, "Alright, I need you to get those signed and the first paper is your schedule, locker number and locker combination."

I opened the folder to look at my schedule then closed it quickly, nodding at the Principal as a thank you with a smile.

She chuckled lightly, "I'm Mrs. Smith, Dear. It's a pleasure to have you here. I'm sure you'll love it here. Oh! Stay clear of troublemakers, alright?"

I laughed a little and nodded, "Yes, Mrs. Smith. Thank you for the heads up."

Mrs. Smith smiled happily and nodded, "No problem, Dear. If you ever need anything, feel free to stop by!"

"Alright! Thank you so much, Mrs. Smith." I replied.

"No problem, Dear! Have fun! Oh, and if the teachers give you a hard time about being late the first few days, tell them they need to talk to me!" Mrs. Smith exclaimed.

I nodded and waved as I walked out of the Principal's Office, bumping into someone, causing me to drop the folder and having the papers fly everywhere.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't think anyone would be right there." I said.

"Hey, will you watch it?" A voice replied but soon trailed off as the figure looked at me.

I looked up at the figure, seeing a male wolf hybrid. He was extremely pale, short dark cyan and dark blue hair, red eyes that looked somewhat catlike, and he had bandages on both hands.

Honestly? He was actually really cute.. But me being me, I didn't let that stop me.

"Listen, I didn't think someone would be right against the door like that." I looked at him and kneeled down, starting to pick up the papers.

He sighed and shook his head, rolling his eyes. "Whatever. Never seen you around anyways so why should I give a damn?"

I glared up at the boy, "You should certainly give a damn cause you were practically against the door, asshole." I finished gathering my papers and stood up, crossing my arms and keeping a tight hold onto my folder so I don't drop it again.

He chuckled, "You stand up for yourself well. I'm Husky." He extended his hand.

I looked down at his hand and looked at him again, "Not a trick?"

Husky smirked slightly, "Not a trick."

I reach out to shake his hand then something stops me, taking a step back and putting my pointer finger up, a smile forming.

Husky chuckled, "I think we're going to be good friends."

Friends?..
