~Chapter 2: Moving In~

(A/N: I have the image of the house above!)

Roxanne's POV:

I opened my eyes to see our surroundings had changed, noticing the car wasn't moving anymore. I looked in the rear view mirror at my Father and saw his bright, happy expression.

"We're here!" He exclaimed.

I sighed as I shook my head and got out of the car, somewhat slamming the door shut in annoyance. Typical teenager, right? I walked to the back of the car and opened the trunk, grabbing my two suitcases. I didn't have a lot of stuff anyways so I guess that was a good thing. I looked over at the front door to see my two cousins and my uncle standing there.

Did I mention we're wolf hybrids? Everyone around here is a hybrid, whether it be a wolf, cat, dragon, crocodile or whatever other animal.

Lynn was the younger sibling of the two. She was bright, smart and kind. Bubbly personality, if you wanna call it that. Her style doesn't necessarily fit her personality but she likes to go out of her comfort zone from time to time. She always wears this eyepatch to cover her one eye. Something I cannot and will not speak of. At least, not now.

Dynamite, on the other hand, was the risk taker. He was very protective of Lynn and I. Dynamite's eighteen, I'm seventeen and Lynn is sixteen. Dynamite doesn't have the best relationship with his father, my uncle. I never figured out why though. Maybe I'll find out sooner or later.

I was suddenly pulled from my thoughts when I heard Lynn shout my name as she ran over to hug me, causing us to almost fall to the ground.

"Roxanne! You make it! You guys made it!" She exclaimed as she jumped around happily. I smiled at her excitement. I'll admit, I do have a soft spot for Lynn and Dynamite. They're the only ones who really understand me, you know?

I laughed, looking down at Lynn.

"Missed me that much?" I asked.

She replied with a smile on her face, "Well, duh! How couldn't I miss the best cousin ever?"

I chuckled at her question and looked at Dynamite and Uncle Charlie, "Where can I put my stuff?"

Uncle Charlie smiled, "We made some space for you in the attic, Rox."

Here we go with the nickname I absolutely hate. I was fine with it until he met my friends and started calling me that in front of them. They always teased me about it afterwards which was bull. Eh, they weren't real friends then, I guess. Whatever.

I nodded as I walked into the house and walked upstairs, walking up to the attic. I set my stuff down and looked around, nodding again.

"I can make this work." I mumbled to myself.

I kneeled down to my suitcases and started taking everything out. Clothes, posters, sketchbooks, shoes, etc, etc.

I wonder how long this will take.

~Time Skip~

I dusted myself off as I looked around at my room, a slight smile forming.

"Not bad. I can use some upgrades but this'll do for now."

I sighed happily and walked over to my bed, falling down onto it. I looked up at the ceiling and placed my arms behind my head, closing my eyes and falling asleep.
