Wedding Day
Hermione twirled in front of the mirror smiling at her reflection. Her hair was up in a "messy" bun with a few strands framing her face and her makeup was perfect.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, "come on Gin."
Ron opened the door, "not Ginny but I have something for you." Hermione turned around and he gave her a small vial, "it's so you don't feel sick out there."
Hermione blushed, she still hadn't decided. "thank you." She drank the whole vial noticing it surprisingly had a good taste almost like mint.
Ron chuckled at her face, "if it tasted bad then it really wouldn't help with nausea would it?"
"Ha ha, how do I look?" Hermione twirled.
"all you need is this," he accioed a long slim box and opened it revealing a beautiful necklace. "Pansy and I got it for you in a muggle shop, thought it would look good with your dress."
Hermione hugged him, "thank you so much Ron."
Ron chuckled, "of course Mione, I'm going to go check in the guests. I'll see you out there."
Hermione put the necklace on, it really did complete her look. "knock knock." Hermione glanced to the door seeing Harry there. It was considered lucky in wizard culture for the people that were going to get married to walk down the Isle together. "Hermione you look gorgeous."
Hermione blushed at his compliment, "I feel gorgeous and I think you look very handsome yourself."
Harry came closer wrapping his arms around her waist loosely, "nervous?"
Hermione nodded placing her hands on his chest gently, "very but I'm also very excited and then tomorrow we leave for the states for our honeymoon. Its pretty exciting."
Harry smiled in agreement continuing to look at her lovingly, it was impossible to not get lost in her eyes specially when she was excited. Hermione placed her hand on his cheek and Harry leaned into it, "I'm so happy we're in this position together, about to have our wedding surrounded by people who love us." Harry said in a soft tone, only for her to hear.
"can't wait to see what the papers say about this one." Hermione joked. Both let out a small laugh, neither one of them cared about what any article said about them but it was fun to see how people thought it would ever affect them.
Soon enough it was their time to walk outside and to the altar together. Everyone of their friends were there, from their friends that had been there since the beginning of Hogwarts to the slytherins.
Once they were in the front the ceremony started, Harry couldn't believe this was all real. Being here with Hermione, he never thought this would ever happen but it was happening.
Who would have thought that the scrawny boy that lived under the stairs would marry someone as strong, smart, kind and beautiful as Hermione Granger? No, Hermione Potter now.
Finally the time came.
"I do." Harry said looking lovingly at her.
Hermione smiled, "I do."
They kissed, everyone cheered.
_______
The party began as plates of food appeared for everyone seated. Hermione took a bite and did a small dance on her seat because she thought the food was delicious, Harry loved when she did that. "How do you feel Mione? No nausea or anything?" Harry whispered over to her.
Hermione shook her head happily, "the potion Ron got for me has really helped. Should last all night long."
They finished eating and it was now time for their dance. Harry felt nervous, he had practiced for this moment hopefully he wouldn't make a fool of himself.
O children started playing and they began to dance. It was like it was just them in the room, no pressure to be perfect. They moved in in perfect harmony, it was a kind of magic that couldn't be recreated with a simple potion or spell.
They were finally married and they were prepared for anything.
