Chapter 22

Fox sighed quietly to himself as he finished clipping up his vambrace. He glanced at himself in the mirror, checking over his armour to make sure it was on properly and secure. It had been over two weeks since the Guard were first evacuated from Coruscant and a lot had changed in those two weeks. The Chancellor had officially been named a Sith Lord and a traitor to the republic. The Jedi were given a full pardon and praised for finding the traitor and relieving him off his duties. A new Chancellor was officially voted in, Senator Organa of Alderaan, now Chancellor Organa of the Republic. A number of Senators are also now under investigation for a bunch of different things. Apparently the Jedi had taken their lists of Senators and done their own investigations to find any dirt on them that they could find, which was quite a lot unsurprisingly. The war was over, almost completely. Count Dooku had come to an agreement with Senator Organa to have a peace treaty and though there were a couple revolts here and there, everything was pretty much under control. Which was such a weird concept and he still can't quite believe all of that is true. And to add on top of it, Senator Amidala is working with a few other Senators and the Jedi to work on a Clone rights bill. So there's that as well.

The point is, there's been so much happening so quickly that he's found it a little hard to keep up with. He's spent most of the time since the meeting with the Jedi just relaxing, cuddling with his vod'ika and getting forced to eat all of his daily meals. It had been fine, until he got the comm from Bly stating that the 501 st was coming, or at least a few small ships full of the 501 st were coming to the cruiser. According to Bly, everyone was guilty and remorseful for abandoning the Guard so they were going to take turns coming up to the cruiser to try and meet up with their batchmates, should they choose to see them. Which means it's likely Captain Rex will be coming here so he needs to be prepared. He needs to be professional, with no room for error. He doesn't need to give Rex another reason to be angry, another reason to hate him.

He quickly grabbed his helmet from the sink and pushed it down over his head, clipping it into place. He did one last once over, making sure he looked perfect before he left the fresher and then the room entirely. First things first, he needs to go and see Dogma, make sure his ad'ika is doing okay knowing that his old comrades are going to be coming onto the cruiser. The same ones that have absolutely no idea he is still alive and with the Guard. It's going to be one hell of a thing to explain.

"Fox. Hey, Fox." Fox spun around quickly, his shoulders tensed but he relaxed as he recognised Jesse rushing over.

"You guys are already here? I wasn't expecting you to get here for another hour or two," Fox said with a frown. He had been hoping he would get to talk to Dogma before the 501 st got on board.

"I'm actually looking for Thire, thought you might know where to find him," Jesse said as he caught up.

"I do. I'm actually going to see D'ika to check in with him, Th'ika should be there as well," Fox said with a nod.

"Oh kark, right, Dogma," Jesse said and Fox gasped, checking up and down the halls quickly.

"Do not go around saying his name Jesse, especially while you know the rest of the 501 st is here. You know that no one is allowed to know about it," Fox hissed.

"Right, yeah, I know that. But there's no one here," Jesse said.

"You never know. Now shut up and follow me," Fox said, grabbing Jesse's hand and tugging him down the hall. Jesse grinned to himself, hurrying to follow after Fox, clutching his hand tightly.

"I um, I need to apologise to you Fox," Jesse said quietly.

"For what," Fox asked in confusion, glancing at the Lieutenant. It's hard to gauge how someone is feeling when they're wearing their helmet.

"For the Fives incident. I was horrible after what happened, I yelled at the Guard and automatically blamed you for it. Thire explained what really happened, how you actually saved his life despite being influenced by the chip," Jesse said. He felt Fox's hand stiffen in his and go to pull away but he held it tightly, giving it a reassuring squeeze.

"I don't think it really works like that. I still tried to kill him, almost did. It may have been luck that I only caught him in the shoulder," Fox said with a sigh.

"No way, it wasn't luck. I've heard from like fifteen different people how you're the best shot out of the Clones, you got the highest scores and almost never missed your target," Jesse said, shaking his head.

"Look, I don't need you to apologise or thank me so please don't," Fox said quietly.

"Bu-."

"It's just going to make me feel worse Lieutenant," Fox said, cutting him off.

"Jesse is fine. A-And if you ever, you know, trust me enough, or like, I dunno, feel like it, y-you could call me vod'ika," Jesse said, letting go of Fox's hand to instead, wipe his glove on his thigh nervously. Fox glanced at him and smiled softly.

"You know vod'ika, you protected my ad'ika, stood up for him against your own batchmates. Hell, you even almost broke Wolffe's nose in your rage. Not to mention you actually went and killed a Senator after finding out Thire had been hurt," Fox pointed out and Jesse glanced up at him.

"He's my vod'ika and I love him. I should have been there for him more but I wasn't," Jesse said with a sigh.

"But you're here now, so just stick with it okay. After you two met up, he wouldn't shut up about you for hours so don't let him down again," Fox said sternly.

"I won't, I promise," Jesse said with a nod.

"Good. Now, here we are," Fox said, opening the door and waving Jesse inside. Jesse went in to find a few people in the room. There were a three Guard members he didn't recognise at one end and then at the other end, there was Thire and Dogma. The three Guards at the other end all got up and brushed past, walking out. Thire glanced up and his eyes landed on the 501 st blue, making him instinctively tense but then he realised it was just Jesse.

"Oh, it's just you. I thought you weren't supposed to be getting here for another hour or two. Did anyone follow you," Thire asked as he pushed off the wall to straighten out.

"Nice to see you too Thire, glad you're well. And no, no one followed me," Jesse said, walking further inside so Fox could come in as well. Dogma looked over at Jesse, his hand reaching forwards slightly before he quickly stopped himself and shifted closer to Thire. But Jesse caught the movement and he smiled fondly. He removed his helmet and chucked it onto the bed neck to him, holding out his arms.

"Mind if I steal a hug D'ika," he asked. Dogma's eyes widened in surprise, taking two small steps forward cautiously before rushing forwards and slamming into Jesse. Jesse chuckled softly and hugged him back, not too tightly in case he wanted to pull back. He's been keeping in regular contact with Dogma since he first found out he was still alive, keeping their comm conversation muted to make sure none of the others accidentally saw it. Dogma wasn't much of a talker usually but he's settled in and seems to enjoy comming.

"I missed you," Jesse said, patting his back softly. Dogma furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he pulled back, Jesse's arms leaving instantly.

"We saw each other like a week ago," Dogma pointed out.

"True, but before that I thought you were dead and before that I didn't treat you right," Jesse said.

"Oh," Dogma said quietly.

"So, I missed you vod'ika," Jesse said, reaching out and ruffling Dogma's hair. Dogma flinched back at that and pulled away quickly, making Jesse freeze.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that," he said quickly.

"What? Oh, no. No, I didn't pull back because it hurt, that was because my ori'vod's are shabuir's and for some reason like to play with my hair and it's really annoying," Dogma said with a frown. Thire took that as his cue to walk up behind Dogma and ruffle his hair. Dogma moved quickly, his elbow slamming into Thire's gut, making him double over.

"Kark, Dogma," he groaned as he dropped to his knees.

"You had fair warning Thire, that is your fault," Dogma said with a shrug, making Jesse snort.

"Ma, I do not recognise you. Since when did you assault superior officers," Jesse said with a chuckle.

"Thire isn't a superior officer. Well, technically he is but he doesn't act like one so it's perfectly reasonable. Plus it was technically him assaulting me from behind, assault is any unwanted physical contact so my actions were in self-defence," Dogma said with a shrug.

"Thire, stop dying and get up, we need to talk," Fox said, clapping his hands loudly. Thire groaned but grabbed Jesse's hand as he held it out, allowing him to tug him up.

"You good," Jesse asked, patting Thire's shoulder.

"I'm fine," Thire said, wrapping his arms around Jesse's waist and pressing close to his side. Jesse let out a breath, stepping back with Thire before sitting down on the edge of the bed, bringing his vod'ika with him. He wrapped his arm around Thire's shoulders, holding him closer, allowing him to rest his head on his shoulder.

"D'ika, you sit down as well," Fox instructed. Dogma nodded and quickly sat down on Jesse's other side, glancing at the two of them before mirroring Thire's position. Jesse was surprised by the contact but it wasn't unwelcome so he moved his other hand to rest on the small of Dogma's back gently. Fox grabbed the only chair in the room which was by a small desk and swung it around before sitting on it backwards as he took off his helmet.

"So, the 501 st are here, like right now. I was hoping to have this talk before they got here but of course they had to be early," Fox said with a sigh.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Rex was a little bit rushed today, wanting to get up here quickly," Jesse said with a sigh. Fox kept his face carefully blank, not showing any reaction. This is about Dogma right now, not him.

"So far Jesse is the only person from the 501 st that knows you're still alive and that you're here. Unless you've told someone," Fox said, glancing at Jesse.

"No, of course not. I haven't even told Kix. I know they're going to be so relieved when they find out you're still alive but it's Dogma's decision for whenever he would like to see them, if he does want to," Jesse replied quickly.

"Thank you," Dogma whispered, curling closer.

"Always. You have me in your corner, I promise," Jesse said softly, resting his head against Dogma's.

"Jesse it right, it's your decision Dogma. Should you want it, we can organise for you to see them. If there's a specific trooper you would like to see, we can arrange that, or we can make sure you're kept away where they can't find you," Fox said. Dogma thought about it for a few seconds before slowly turning to Jesse.

"T-Tup? Is he..." Dogma trailed off.

"He's okay, and he's here," Jesse said with a soft smile. Dogma's eyes lit up with hope before he looked dejected.

"He misses you Dogma. He loved you more than anyone, he's your Kix," Jesse said softly.

"My Kix," Dogma questioned in confusion.

"Your best friend, the one person you know without a doubt that you can always rely on, no matter what," Jesse explained.

"I miss him. He was my first ever friend, the only person to really put up with me as cadets," Dogma said quietly.

"If you want, I can get Tup away from the others and bring him here so you can see him. But if you don't want to, that's also okay," Jesse said gently. Dogma turned to Fox quickly, who was watching him closely, obviously analysing his movements and emotions. He was being protective, as usual.

"Can I do that? Would it be okay," he asked.

"Of course it is ad'ika, whatever you want," Fox said with a nod.

"A-And can I also get Kix as well. I feel like, like Jesse deserves to have someone to talk to and Kix was always nice to me. Though I'm not sure if that was because he's a medic and he needed to," Dogma said with a frown.

"No, Kix cared about you, cares about you. If he didn't like you, he'd make it known even as a medic," Jesse said with a snort.

"So, Tup and Kix? Anyone else," Fox asked.

"No, just those two for now. I-I don't know how the others will react," Dogma said nervously.

"That's okay, whatever you're comfortable with. We go at your place remember. I will head out to the hangar and see if I can find them and bring them back here," Fox said.

"Oh, wait. Actually, you have been requested for a meeting or something I think," Jesse said quickly.

"I've been what," Fox gasped, shooting up quickly.

"No, nothing important, or I mean, it might be. Kix said to give this to you," Jesse said, holding out a slip of paper. Fox raised an eyebrow before grabbing it and unfolding it to read what was written.

"It's a room number and a time," Fox said slowly.

"Yeah, go to the room, at the time," Jesse said with a nod.

"So that's in like, ten minutes. Who exactly am I meeting," Fox asked as he glanced down at him comm.

"Uh, I did not ask, but I think it's pretty obvious," Jesse said with a wince. Fox sighed but nodded.

"I um, I heard about what happened last time so please don't feel obligated to go ori'vod. Rex was so in the wrong for what he did, you don't have to talk to him," Jesse said quickly. Fox glanced up from the paper to look at him, giving him a tight smile.

"It's fine. It's about time we talk to be honest," Fox said with a sigh.

"I can come with you," Thire said with a frown.

"No, you should stay with Dogma. Jesse can you grab Kix and Tup and bring them here," Fox asked and Jesse nodded quickly.

"Good, if anything goes wrong then comm me or comm one of the other Commanders," Fox said quickly.

"Hey, I'm a Commander. Aren't I good enough," Thire said with a huff.

"Correction, please comm Stone and Thorn. Stone will keep the peace with Thorn and Thorn will pin Thire down when he attacks," Fox said, making Dogma giggle.

"I feel deeply insulted," Thire said.

"Am I wrong though," Fox asked slowly.

"Oh, no. I will totally fight them if they upset Dogma, but I'm still insulted," Thire said with a shrug, making Fox roll his eyes.

"I will see you all later. Good luck Dogma, you deserve this," Fox said softly, walking over and gently ruffling Dogma's hair. Dogma leant into the contact so Fox lightly raking his fingers over his scalp. It wasn't as good with gloves but better than nothing.

"See, how come he doesn't get an elbow to the gut," Thire accused.

"Because he is my Buir and he has more privileges than you do," Dogma replied with a shrug.

"Don't cause trouble," Fox said before leaving the room.

"Will you two be alright here while I go find Kix and Tup," Jesse asked.

"C-Could you tell them before they come in. So th-they, can pull out if they don't want to be near me," Dogma asked quietly. Jesse's heart broke at the unsureness in Dogma's voice, softening.

"I will, but they will probably end up running here so be ready for a panting mess of tears," Jesse said softly. Dogma looked nervous but he nodded and tugged his knees up to his chest.

"See you soon," Thire said quietly. Jesse nodded and left the room, walking quickly down the halls. Once he got back to the hangar, he glanced around to see if he could find Kix and Tup but he couldn't see either of them. He did however, see Appo off to the side so he hurried over.

"Hey, Appo, have you seen Kix or Tup," he asked.

"Uh, yeah, they went to check in on the medical bay I think," Appo said with a nod. Jesse thanked him before setting out for the medical bay, thankful the layout on all cruise ships were the same. He slipped into the medical bay and looked around, pausing as he noticed Wolffe curled up on the bed with someone.

"That's Helix, the Guard CMO. Bullet was saying Wolffe has practically adopted him at this point. He's always coming to check on him, making sure he's sleeping properly. The little Wolffe comes as well." Jesse jumped at the voice beside him and noted they were a 327 th medic. They walked off so he continued looking, eventually finding both Tup and Kix going through a box of supplies. For once he gets lucky and both of them are in one place with no one else there.

"Hello my fellow vod," he said as he walked up, slipping an arm around Kix's shoulders. Kix stopped what he did and ran his eyes over Jesse, checking for any sign of injury.

"I'm fine Kix'ika," Jesse said, huffing fondly.

"If you're fine then what are you doing here," Kix asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Can't I just come to see my best friend? Do I need a reason," Jesse asked with a pout.

"Usually, yes. What do you want," Kix asked.

"Rude. I need you two to come with me though," Jesse said, looking over at Tup who seemed surprised.

"Both of us," he asked slowly.

"Yes both. Are you feeling okay or do you need to stay here," Jesse asked. Tup had recovered after his incident, though he had been getting small headaches sometimes.

"No, I'm okay. What are we doing though," Tup asked.

"I can't explain right now but I will explain on the way, come on," Jesse said, pulling away from Kix.

"I've got things to do Jess," Kix said with a sigh.

"It's important Kix, please," Jesse said seriously. Kix nodded immediately when he heard how serious Jesse was.

"Come on," Jesse said, walking through the medical bay and outside with the other two trailing after him. They walked in silence for a few minutes, Tup and Kix occasionally glancing at each other in confusion until Jesse stopped in one of the hallways. He glanced around to make sure they were alone before sighing.

"Before we go where we need to go, there's something you should both know," he said.

"What is it? You're making it sound like someone is dying or dead," Kix said with a frown.

"It's actually um, kind of the opposite," Jesse said, fiddling with his hands nervously.

"I didn't know about it until about a week ago when I found out by accident and I would have told you Kix but they all asked me not to and I couldn't say anything, it wasn't my place," Jesse said quickly.

"Okay, that's fine. What is it," Kix asked slowly, his eyebrows furrowed in concern. Jesse is never this unsure and quiet. Jesse sighed and reached out, grabbing one of Tup's hand and squeezing it.

"Dogma is alive," he said quietly and the hall went silent. Tup's hand tensed as he straightened out, his eyes wide.

"D-Don't, don't even joke about that. Th-That's so cruel," Tup said shakily as tears welled up in his eyes.

"I'm not. The Guard saved him, Fox saved him. They messed around with some numbers when Dogma was set to be court-martialled and executed. They got him lost in the system and then shuffled things around to get him sent here. He's been with the Guard since Umbara," Jesse said gently. Kix's face was passive as he mulled over the information, nodding slowly to himself. As a medic he is trained to hold up under pressure well, to not have big reactions to shocking things.

"You swear you're telling the truth. Y-You're not lying," Tup asked with a sniffle as a tear fell down his face.

"I swear, I wouldn't do that to you," Jesse said firmly.

"And you've seen him," Kix asked.

"I have. It was the day we came up here and I went to the medical bay with Thire. He was getting angry and Dogma must've been in the bed over because he came to check on Thire before he realised I was there," Jesse said with a nod.

"How did he react to seeing you," Kix asked.

"Thire went straight to threatening me if I upset him whereas Dogma seemed scared of me. He thought I was angry with him, that I'd yell at him and possibly even hurt him for what happened on Umbara," Jesse explained and Tup gasped.

"He thinks we all hate him, that we were glad when he was taken away. He blames himself for Krell's manipulation, even though I've told him it wasn't his fault and he was jus doing what he was trained to do. They both thought I was going to hurt him so I had to keep reassuring him I wouldn't," Jesse said with a sigh.

"That's not good. Did he relax or was he too scared," Kix asked.

"No, he relaxed. He even, he hugged me," Jesse said, smiling happily.

"He hugged you? Dogma has never hugged anyone except me," Tup said in surprise.

"He's different now. The Corries, they've been good for him. They were patient with him, got him used to small physical contact before easing him into more. Thire said he still only really hugs his immediate family but he's fine giving me hugs so it's nice," Jesse said.

"Immediate family," Kix asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, right. Fox named Dogma his ad. Dogma calls him Buir and looks to him for guidance and Fox always helps him whenever he asks. Thire is also Fox's ad so he and Dogma are quite close and I think that means he's close with the rest of the Guard Commanders. And he has a few closer vod that he sticks with. He's doing really well here," Jesse explained. Tup sniffled and nodded, wiping his eyes quickly.

"Are you okay," Jesse asked softly, moving his hand to rest on Tup's shoulder.

"Y-Yeah, just. I'm relieved you know. D-Dogma's alive," Tup whispered.

"He is," Jesse said with a nod.

"A-And he likes it here," Tup asked.

"He likes the Guard, yes. I think Fox had him shielded a lot from what was going on. He didn't let Dogma take shifts with the Senate, did his best to keep him safe," Jesse said with a nod.

"I can't believe it," Tup said with a sniffle.

"I'm just as surprised as you are, but I'm happy. Dogma didn't deserve to die for what he did. He was a good kid put into an all-around bad situation. And no matter how traumatising it was to be in that firing squad and point my gun at you, I don't blame him in any way for it because it wasn't his fault," Kix said.

"I know. I actually told him you were the one who talked to me about it, who took his side. I think that's why he wants to see you as well," Jesse said.

"Wait, he wants to see us," Tup asked, a spark of hope in his eyes.

"Yes, he asked me to go and get you two. He doesn't want any of the others knowing yet because he's still worried and I said we would respect that but he misses Tup and you were always nice to him Kix," Jesse said.

"Where is he," Tup asked quickly, his body straightening out.

"Right in here," Jesse said, opening the door and walking inside with them behind him. The three of them stopped in shock at the scene that they walked in on.

"EAT THE GROUND THIRE, EAT IT. EAT THE GROUND." Thire was laying on his stomach on the ground, his arm pinned behind his back by Dogma who was sitting on top of him. Dogma's other hand was behind Thire's head, pinning him to the ground.

"This is treason you little shit," Thire spat.

"Nuh uh, I've already committed it once, this is different. You started this, you're the one who attacked me," Dogma said.

"I did not attack you. I called you an adorable ball of sunshine," Thire said.

"Exactly, I took that as a personal assault," Dogma said with a grin.

"That isn't how that works," Thire said, groaning as Dogma's grip tightened slightly.

"Um, we can come back later," Jesse said slowly, successfully gaining their attention. It was almost comical the way both their heads snapped up, their eyes wide in surprise. Dogma jolted in shock, letting go of Thire and slipped back, curling in on himself slightly. Thire was quick to jump to his feet, shielding Dogma with his body as the younger stood up behind him.

"Kix, Tup," Thire said with a nod towards both of them.

"Commander," Kix replied but Tup was silent, his eyes not leaving Dogma.

"You okay," Thire asked Dogma kindly as he turned his body to face him more. Dogma didn't say anything but he did give a small, jerking nod.

"Dogma," Tup whispered and Dogma slowly moved out from behind Thire.

"T-Tup," he said shakily, unsure of what to do. He didn't need to do anything though, as Tup shut forwards and slammed into him, holding him tightly. Thire would have intervened but Dogma has said before that he loves Tup's hugs and they never made him uncomfortable.

"You're alive," Tup cried out, tightening his hold around Dogma who held him back just as tightly.

"I-Is that okay," Dogma whispered.

"I'm so glad. I-I thought you were dead. I cried for weeks," Tup said, sobbing into Dogma's shoulder. Dogma's body sagged in relief at that, the confirmation that Tup was happy, that he was glad he was still alive.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't think anyone would be happy," Dogma whispered and Tup's heart broke.

"We all would Dogma. We all mourned you, missed you. I know you blame yourself a lot for what went on during Umbara but it wasn't your fault okay. You were scared and doing what we were trained to do, no one can hold that against you," Tup said softly. Dogma's eyes welled up and he clutched Tup tightly.

"I-I killed vod," Dogma whispered.

"Hey, no you didn't. I know you organised the firing squad but we didn't shoot them okay and you were just doing what you were ordered to do," Tup said quickly.

"N-No, I sh-shot vod. Th-The 212th, th-." Dogma broke off into sobs and Jesse and Kix rushed to hug him as well, realising what he was talking about. Jesse wasn't there for that part of the battle, where Krell had tricked them into shooting at their own men but he had heard about it, held Kix while he cried after nightmares. It wasn't pretty and given that Dogma had been taken away right after killing Krell, Jesse realised the poor kid didn't have anyone to talk about it to. Anyone who would understand what he was going through and be able to reassure him it wasn't his fault.

"Listen to me Dogma. That's not your fault okay, none of what happened on that godforsaken planet was anyone's fault except for Krell's. I shot them too Dogma, I watched my brothers die at my hand when as a medic it is my job to protect them, to heal them. It hurts and the guilt will eat away at you, it probably already has been, but it's not your fault. You thought you were shooting Umbarian's because that is what our General told us, just as he told them," Kix said gently, pressing his forehead to Dogma's. Dogma sniffled but nodded and leant into the contact. Thire clenched his hand angrily, part of him wishing Krell was still alive so he could kill him himself for hurting his vod'ika, for hurting his vod.

"I didn't mean to hurt anyone," Dogma cried.

"We know D'ika, we know. It's not your fault," Jesse said gently.

"I-It's not," Dogma whimpered.

"No, not at all," Tup replied firmly. Dogma relaxed slightly but continued to sob in their embrace. Jesse reached out his hand and snagged Thire's vambrace, yanking him over into the hug as well.

The five of them stood there hugging for a while until Dogma's cries calmed down and he started to squirm. They all quickly pulled away at that, trying not to overwhelm him too much.

"It's good to see you alive and well Dogma," Kix said gently and Dogma flashed him a watery smile, wiping his eyes quickly.

"Oh and by the way, congratulations. Jesse said you were named Fox's ad," Tup said, grinning widely. Dogma's cheeks flashed red and smiled shyly while he nodded.

"How's that working out for you. I don't think I could quite picture Fox with an ad'ika," Kix said and Thire coughed pointedly.

"Yeah, you don't really count. I mean another one," Kix said with a shrug and Thire rolled his eyes.

"Why am I always getting forgotten by everyone? Am I really just so forgetful," Thire said, throwing his hands up in exasperation.

"I'll never forget you ori'vod," Dogma said, glancing up with wide tooka eyes. Thire melted completely at that.

"You're such a good vod'ika," he said, reaching out to pat Dogma's head but Dogma's hand shot out to smack his own hand away.

"Do not touch the hair," Dogma warned and Thire pouted.

"One day," he said with a sigh of resignation.

"No, how about never," Dogma said, taking a step away from him.

"Dogma, I do have a question," Kix said softly. Dogma tensed slightly but nodded.

"It's nothing pressing. I'm just wondering if you think you might tell the others you're alive, maybe go see them too," Kix asked.

"Oh. Uh, I will but I don't think I'm ready yet," Dogma replied honestly.

"And that's okay, you went through something really traumatic alone. You take all the time you need vod'ika," Kix said reassuringly.

"So, does anyone want to play some card games now that we're all acquainted again? I've got some cool ones," Thire said. That got everyone moving and before long they were all seated on the floor, Dogma leaning against Tup as they played some random game that Thire decided to teach them. Dogma let out a slow breath, wriggling closer to Tup. He felt relieved to have his best friend back, to be able to talk to him again, be close to him. He missed Tup a lot more than he ever realised.
