June's P.o.v

What happened?  I asked pulling away from his firm grip.

It's Becky. She umm..she had a small accident!  he said looking sad.

What?!??  When did this happen?   I asked in shock.

Sharon's words were echoing into my ears. ' Perhaps you react only to visual representations! '

What kinda accident?  I asked trying to hold it together.

She fell down from 2 flights of stairs!   He said giving a lite squeeze on my hands.

More tears started rolling down my cheeks.

It was all my fault!  I mumbled.

Hey!! Come on!  Don't say that. It's not your fault!  He said looking into my eyes.

It is because of me, everything is because of me!  I cried. 

Hey..shh! Calm down!  He said hugging me tightly.

I need to see her!  I mumbled and the next thing I know I was running frantically.

Wait up!  June!  He yelled and caught my hands.

You need to relax okay?  Becky is fine.. I can take you to her!  He said as his sea coloured eyes bored into mine.

I nodded.

Alright. Let's go!  He said and guided me into that huge building.

We were on the third floor and we stopped near room number 315. He opened the door and I saw Becky sleeping and Liam was beside her.

Oh my god..June?  Where have you been?  Liam pulled me into a hug.

I..um.I was um..well it's a long story!  I stammered.

We were looking for you everywhere!  Liam said wearily.

We?  I asked surprised.

Yeah.. Andrew, Becky and myself!  He replied with a faint smile.

How did this happen?  I asked looking at Becky.

We were on the subway looking for you, she slipped and fell! The place was really crowded so I guess she wasn't looking where she was going!   He said looking sad.

Is she gonna be okay?  I asked as my eyes welled up.

Well..she hit her head and broke her leg and cracked a couple of her ribs but she is gonna be okay!  Andrew said eyeing me seriously.

Don't worry.. We will be with you guys till she gets discharged!  Andrew said as he placed his hands on mine.

The doctor said she would be discharged tomorrow!  Liam said slowly.

I nodded looking grateful.

I have to let Mr and Mrs.Gomez know about this!  I said and went out of the room.

I called Becky's mom and explained everything of course not everything. She was really freaked out after hearing the news. I assured her, she was alright now and I was taking really good care of her. She hangs up the phone with a heavy heart.

Just as I hung up the call, my phone beeped and I got a text from an unknown number.

UN: I still have plan C, D, E,F.. Well, you know how the alphabets work right? This was just a trailer Darling, take the deal or else you will be forced to see the movie.   XoXo

As I read the text, I knew who it was from. My eyes grew red with anger and tears were pouring down like rain. I walked out of the building and I was sitting out on a bench thinking about her deal. Thinking about everything she said. It was a lot to process for the day. It was probably the worst day of my life. Suddenly I heard a huge thunder and lightning was sticking hard. Soon it was followed by rain. I was sitting on the bench all alone, still buried my face into my hands.

What is with you and rain?  I heard Andrew.

I noticed he was holding an umbrella over my head.

I don't know!  I replied shivering.

Come on, let's get you inside!  He said and caught his hands.

We were in the cafeteria and he got me a hot chocolate. I was sitting there, looking bewildered.

Where were you today in June?  He asked looking slightly worried.

I ran into a friend, we spent hours talking and I guess, I didn't notice how fast times flies, I am sorry!  I said avoiding his gaze.

You can't do that to us..to Me!  Promise me you wouldn't!  He said holding my hands.

I promise!  I said with a weak smile.

I can't promise that while I am out planning to disappear from his life forever.

We spent the night, in the hospital. Becky was still in strongly sedated so she didn't wake up. I slept on the couch near her bed. Liam and Andrew made themselves comfortable on the couch that was in the lobby.

June's P.o.v

Day 7:

The next morning I woke up with a jerk thinking, everything was just a nightmare but it wasn't. I gave myself a few seconds to figure out what was happening around me!  I stood up straight and my back really hurting the cause of the couch. The horrific memories of the previous day flashed before me another time. I was totally spaced out but then something brought me back to the land of the living. I noticed Becky was struggling to open her eyes. I sat beside her waiting for her to see me.

Hey.  She greeted me with a small smile.

Becky!  I said as my eyes welled up.

How..how did you get here?  She asked concerned.

I am so sorry!  I apologized and hugged her.

You are sorry because I am clumsy?  She joked as she hugged me back tightly.

If only she knew why she was in the hospital?

Are you okay?  I asked with teary eyes.

Well..I've been better!  She smiled sweetly.

Where are the guys?  She asked suddenly as her eyes were searching a certain green-eyed guy I knew.

They are out in the lobby!  I replied instantly.

Liam was beside you the whole time!  I added with a smile.

Oh!  She exclaimed looking down as her cheeks turned beet red.

Do I need to know something about you two?  I mean lately, you both have been shady!  I smirked.

Talk about shady!  Where were you last night?  She asked with inquisitive eyes.

Um..it's a really long story!  I sighed.

It's okay.. I am all ears!  Talk!  She said looking at me seriously.

I was..um out with a friend!  I lied.

A friend that I have never heard off?  She asked eyeing me suspiciously.

Yea..she is new in this place!  She is my mom's friend's daughter!  I explained.

I see..!  She replied sarcastically, I sensed she wasn't convinced by my answer.

Great. You are awake!  We heard Liam.

Was it my imagination or was Becky really struggling to look him in the eye? And I can't even start about her face which looked flushed after hearing Liam's voice.

How are you feeling?  Liam asked as he stepped closer to her.

I am good!  Although Mr.Anderson wouldn't be happy with me!  She replied with a small smile.

It's okay.. I took care of that. I got the medical certificate and we can ask him permission!     He said with a small smile.

Well..Thank you!  She smiled brightly.

Okay, that was my cue!

Um..I'll go check with the doctor for the discharge!  I said and went out of that room.

As I came out of the room, my face crashed on a really hard surface.Wait...it wasn't that hard. I guess I walked into someone. I lifted my face up to see Andrew's chiselled face. His hands were on my waist. His eyes sparkled with something unusual. He was standing close to me with his signature smirk on his face.

Morning!  He exclaimed.

Uh.Yeah!  Same to you!  I said as I noticed his sculpted kind-of lips formed into a sarcastically smile.

And I regretted talking to him at all.

Are you okay?  He asked looking slightly worried.

Yea..why won't I be?!  I snapped.

Cause someone threatened you to kill you and everyone you love. Oh yea, I forgot it's not a big deal for you right?  Tell him of June!  Right now! 

Sometimes the inner voices in my head just need to Shut up.

I don't know!  He said looking confused.

I am fine.. Really appreciate it though!  I said and took a step back.

Um. I was just going to see the doctor get the discharge papers!  I said trying to sound normal.

Uh.don't worry about it!  We are okay to leave, I spoke with him just now!  He said looking casual.

Oh!  I exclaimed.

Um..well then maybe I should get a cab for us!  I said trying to get away from him.

Oh, no. I'll drive you! I am not letting you out of my sight after yesterday!  He said suddenly not realizing what he just said.

I was literally speechless. I was just staring him for a moment or two. I don't know if I should jump in joy after hearing that or cry for wanting what I want.

Okay.. I'll go get Becky!  I replied swiftly and walked away.

Wait!  He said and locked me in between his arms.

What?  I asked trying to hold it together.

I don't know why are being strange?  He asked looking into my eyes.

I am just tired, Andrew!  I said averting his gaze.

June?  He said looking serious.

Maybe I was being dramatic but the way he said that sent shivers down into my spine.

Andrew?  I said as my eyes bored into his blue ones.

You should know better than that!  He said with no change in his tone.

What?  I asked looking annoyed.

The Lying! Don't ever lie to me! Cause you will end up getting busted anyway!    He said proudly.

Is that so?  I teased.

Yes, it's so obvious!  He whispered into my ears.

I don't know what you are talking about!  I said and stormed out of that place.

Andrew drove us back to our college. It was already 8 'o clock. Andrew and Liam went to the rehearsal hall directly. I went to a hostel with Becky. I freshened up and admitted Becky in the college clinic. Although she won't stop complaining about that place. Still, she needed medical care so I left her there and I was on my to the rehearsal hall.

I reached the rehearsal hall and as I entered into the room, I heard whispers everywhere. It was really strange. Mr Anderson was standing there with crossed arms and if I am not wrong he looked furious. I tried to remain calm, I placed my bag down and stood there searching for Jason. Jason?.. Wait, Jason... Crap!!!!! How did I forget that!?  He told me he was leaving town for some days.

Ms.Paxton a word?  Mr.Anderson interrupted me from my thoughts.

Yes, Mr Anderson!  I replied and went with him.

Correct me if I am wrong!  But it's your friend who broke her leg yesterday right?  He asked looking stony.

Um yes, Unfortunately!  I replied slowly.

And What about your partner?  Jason Brooks is it?  He asked looking slightly annoyed.

He had to leave for some family emergency!  I explained.

I see!  He said as he was writing down something on his list.

Sir. Did you call me?  I heard Andrew.

Yes. Mr.Mitchell!  It seems there is a bit of a problem with your partner!  Well, both of your parents actually!  He said looking at us seriously.

Indeed!  Andrew replied casually.

It's okay Mr Anderson, we understand if we can't perform!  I jumped in.

Nonsense. Ms.Paxton!  He exclaimed.

Oh no, what was in his mind? 

What?  I asked awkwardly.

You can pair up with Mr Mitchell here!  He said looking excited.

Um, wait for No.. but..    I started.

What do you think Andrew?  He asked looking at him.

I would be honoured to be June's partner, Mr Anderson!  he said with a small smirk.

What the hell!?!?  No this can't happen!

Great!  Now you two, off you go to practice!  He said and sent us inside the rehearsal hall.

We went inside and Mr.Anderson made the announcement about the little change in the dance. Then the practice continued as usual. Well, it wasn't usual for me,I was scared the whole time while dancing with Andrew. He was before me but I was losing my mind thinking about Sharon. It was like She was all over the place. I was freaking out whenever my phone buzzed thinking it was one of her text. At one point I thought even death was peaceful than living in such fear. Every time Andrew came closer I felt like someone I love was gonna hurt. Andrew was eyeing me suspiciously the whole time. He was looking distracted as much I was. Our dance teacher was really furious with us. We got roasted hard by him.

Okay everyone takes 15 minutes to break!  Our dance teacher said and went out.

Everyone left the rehearsal hall. I picked up my bag and I was about to leave. I was about to reach the door but then I felt a familiar pair of arms on me, Andrew pinned me against the wall. I didn't dare to look him in the eye. He was standing close to me not allowing me to think straight, my heart started racing dangerously intimidated by the proximity.

An.Andrew.  Let me go!  I said avoiding his gaze.

Not until I know what is wrong with you?!  He said looking as stony as ever.

I don't know what you are talking about!  I said looking into his eyes.

You know exactly what I am talking about!  We were dancing fine till yesterday.. Wh..why are like this today?  He asked looking slightly worried.

I am just out of touch!  I lied.

June.. Please tell me what is this about?  He asked looking desperate.

It's nothing..I am fine really!  I said trying to sound convincing.

Stop lying!  He screamed and crashed his hand against the wall with a loud bang.

I noticed he grew red with anger, he was glaring at me furiously.

I am not lying!  I spoke with gritted teeth.

For a fraction of second, I noticed his jaw muscle twitch. I guess he was trying to calm himself down.

June.. I can see you are trying to hide something!  He said not shifting his gaze from me.

My heart rate tripled, it was pacing now. Did I really suck at hiding my feelings?  Was I  being that obvious? 

An.Andrew!  I started to speak.

If you don't tell me, I can't help you!  He said looking at me seriously.

Suddenly I realized how to get away from him.

Can you now?  Remember the time I asked you the same question! And What did you say?  I said him pushing away.

He was really surprised by me this time.

You are again back on that?   He asked with annoyance.

I never did let it go!  I snapped.

June It's not.  He started slowly.

It's okay Andrew, I get it!. I really do..maybe you are right! No one can help you, think the same for me too. Just let me go!  I said and went out of the hall leaving him alone.

That was a close one, I can't let him catch me off guard like that. I spent my break hiding out from Andrew. After the break, I came back into the rehearsal hall imagining the worst. I noticed Andrew was sitting with Liam. I was walking towards him but then Mr Anderson blocked my way.

Mr Anderson?  I asked with confusion.

Look Ms Paxton I know you have just paired up with Mr Mitchell but please try to look like you guys are meant to be together. This performance is really important!  I hope you understand that?  He looking serious.

My jaw dropped after hearing that, I was staring at him with wide eyes. Did he really say 'Meant to be together'

I am sorry.. I understand Mr Anderson!    I nodded bluntly.

Good.. Now go change into your costume!  He said looking at me.

Um..what?  I asked looking confused.

It's the dress rehearsal Ms.Paxton!  You guys are gonna perform individually on the stage!  He said casually.

My day couldn't get any better.

But..  I started.

Go on..Ms. Paxton, we don't have time to waste!  He commanded.

He made the announcement about the dress rehearsal but unlike me, all the other students didn't take it very surprising. I picked up my costume and reached my hostel. I mean I can't put this stupid hoop skirt without Becky's help. That stupid costume looked ancient.  When I showed the costume to Becky she was jumping with excitement. But that wasn't the reaction I  expected from her.

This is so cool!  She exclaimed.

Cool isn't the word I would use!  I said looking annoyed.

Don't be grumpy!  She chuckled.

Help me with this disaster. Please!  I was practically begging her.

Alright, I will! But I have a condition!  She smirked.

This can't end well I thought and cursed myself.

What's that?  I asked crossing my arms.

You must promise to take me to the rehearsal!  She said with amusement.

No way in hell!  I exclaimed.

Fine.. Then this is all yours!  She threw the costume at me.

Becky, you need to take rest!  I said slowly.

I know and I did from the morning and now I am bored.  Please?  She asked with puppy eyes.

I left out a long sigh.

Alright but we can't stay long, we are leaving after my performance!  I said firmly.

I wanna see Liam's performance!  She said suddenly.

Is that was this is about?  I smirked.

No!   She denied instantly.

Okay.. Deny it!  I smirked again.

Do you have a dress rehearsal to attend or not?  She asked with a smirk.

Yeah.. I have to be at the auditorium in 30 mins!   I said checking the time.

I got ready with a little help from Becky. I thought I looked hideous but Becky didn't agree with me of course. I was barely walking with that 5-inch heel that came with a costume.

I can't dance wearing this.. I'll fall off the stage!  I complained.

Aw..dodon't worry even if you did, Andrew would catch you!  Becky winked.

Seriously?!?  I roll my eyes.

Wait..how did you know I got paired up with Andrew?  I asked eyeing her suspiciously.

It's obvious.. That's just the logical solution!  Becky said slightly feeling uncomfortable with my question.

Definitely shady.

We went into the auditorium and suddenly I didn't feel ridiculous as I felt before causing everyone around me were in their hideous costumes. At least I got the costume in my favourite colour 'Black' I thought.

He looks like Andrew loves you in that costume!  Becky chuckled.

What are you talking about?  I asked feeling nervous.

My eyes instantly scanned the room for him but I couldn't spot him in that madness.

He can't stop staring at you!  Look!  She pointed at him and waved.

I noticed him from a distance and our eyes locked for a second or two.

You should go to join him!  Becky whispered.

I am fine here!  I replied swiftly.

Becky?  We heard Liam.

Of course why you were keen in sending me off so soon!  I whispered with a giggle.

No. It's not like that!  She looked slightly embarrassed.

What are you doing here?  Liam asked concerned.

Um.I came here to support June and you guys!  She exclaimed making a weird expression.

That's.. That's great!  Liam stammered.

They both were oddly suspicious.

Um.June?  Andrew was asking for you!   Liam said suddenly.

Uh.Okay! I nodded and went away.

I was looking for Andrew in that crazy crowd. It seemed impossible to search for him in that place. And it seemed impossible to walk in that stupid shoes.

So You are still not talking to me?  I heard someone familiar.

It was Andrew of course, I was startled by him. I lost my balance wearing those stupid shoes, which is not completely surprising. To my surprise, I didn't fell down and embassy myself before my classmates. I was clinging on to something or should I saw someone. Andrew had wrapped me around him with his iron grip.

Yeah, We don't talk anymore!   I said looking at him without shifting my gaze.

He just replied with his evil smirk.

Mr Mitchell and Mr Paxton you guys are up first!  We heard Mr.Anderson 's announcement.

Andrew released me from his grip and offered his hand.

Shall we?  He asked looking excited.

We shall!  I half smiled and took his hand.
