I was lying on the bed lazily on a Sunday afternoon, smiling like crazy. I was texting Liam, he said something that made me blush a little. We grew really close after our little chat before June and Andrew were lost. I told what happened between me and Alex years ago and how it wrecked me. And it felt good, opening up to him. Liam was very supportive and understanding about it. I was thinking about What had happened the previous day.

Becky's P.o.v

I was the upset cause of the whole Alex thing. June and Alex used to be best friends now June hated him. Whenever I saw Alex the pain was creeping deep into me. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of making me weak. I had to put on the tough act but deep inside I felt so alone even though that place was crowded, but then someone grabbed my hands. When Mr.Anderson said Pair up. I looked up to meet the most beautiful pair of eyes. It was Liam's. I managed to let a small smile.

Shall we? He asked with a smirk.

I just nodded in response.

We started walking and neither of us spoke a word.

Did you see June and Andrew arguing? I hope they don't kill each other soon! He said laughing hysterically.

I again didn't respond much. I just left out a small smile.

He was staring at me for a second or two. And then finally began to speak.

Okay? What's wrong? He asked seriously.

Nothing! I mumbled.

Really? He asked raising his eyebrows.

The Becky I used to know has this smile that can light up the whole world! He said looking at me.

At that moment, I forgot why I was even upset. I gave a genuine smile. I can't help but feel my cheeks heat up when he said that. He looked at me with amusement when I smiled.

Yeah.. That's close enough! He said smiling sweetly.

You can be really sweet.. Sometimes! I said smiling.

That's it?!?! It's not even a compliment! He complained.

I laughed hysterically, even though it wasn't even that funny.

Aww..how cute? I heard a deep voice.

Alex was standing in front of me with his signature smirk on.

My smile turned into a frown instantly.

Did Ms.Cry baby manage to get an actual boyfriend? Do I have to say I am hurt that you got over me so soon? He commented.

Let's go, Liam! I said looking away.

Liam was glaring at Alex.

Liam is it? Does he have a name? We'll see how long this lasts? he said and started laughing.

I was clenching my fist in anger.

I walked closer to him. He was there standing inches away from me smirking at me and I don't know, what came over me I punched him heard, right on his face. He was shocked and gave a horrid expression but so were the others.

Longer than it lasted for us! I said with gritted teeth.

How dare you... He started.

Liam come in front of me and was shooting death glare at him.

Back off. Alex! He said in spite.

And we walked away from him and we were followed by judges eyes and we heard many whispers. after reaching a safe distance.. Liam was gazing into my eyes and then we suddenly burst into laughter. Our stomach was the sore cause of laughing heard.

Did you see how cool was that? I asked, barely audible to him the cause of laughing.

That was freaking awesome! Oh god.. Did you look at his face? He asked amazed.

I did! I said as I again bust into laughter.

I was laughing so Hard. Suddenly my laughter turned into soft sobs and tears started rolling down my cheek. My eyes turned blood red and tears were pouring down without stopping. Liam saw me and he was speechless. He was looking at me with confusion.

Becky! He called me.

I am fine... Really! I said trying to smile between the tears.

No, you are not! Come here! He said and pulled me into a hug.

He hugged me like that was no tomorrow. I hugged him back tightly. I was crying my heart out.

Shhhh...it's gonna be okay! He said placing his hands on my head.

No, it's not! I said that made me cry a little more.

Wanna talk about it? He asked slowly.

I nodded.

I slowly pulled away and he fixed his gaze on me. I started telling my story.

4 years back...

Alex and I met in June's birthday party. He was June's best friend but so was I. The thought of us together made her really happy. She wanted me to date him. But I did like him. I mean he is the popular captain of the football team in his school who everyone loved. I happened to develop a microscopic crush on him when I danced with him at the party.

What I didn't know was.. He knew me way before I met him at the party. Apparently he was on a revenge mission. That's why he pretended like he gave a damn about me.

There were girls who never understood the phrase 'We are never ever getting back together'. One such person was my hopelessly romantic friend Susan. She was in my English class, we become really good friends. She dated a guy named Nate, who was a playboy who had no feelings for anyone. I remember she used to cry a lot of cause of him. I didn't want to see my friend like that so I helped her get out of that relationship. I never knew he held a grudge against me for that.. I mean it's not even like he loved her. He used to treat her badly.

Nate was apparently friends with Alex. They got together and decided to teach me a lesson. They made a bet, that if Alex could get me to fall for him within a month. Well, Alex did win that. But he lost me and June forever. We knew about this when he proudly confessed me on our homing dance night. I was heartbroken. I was wrecked since then I pushed myself away from feelings... they brought only pain.

I said as he watched me silently.

You won't be sad forever Becky! He said looking gazing into my eyes.

I just managed to let out a small smile.

Still Becky P.O.V

Suddenly I heard a loud bang on the door as I saw June walking into the room with a horrid expression. She sat beside me without speaking. I was really worried about her. This morning she said she was gonna spent her day in the Library cleaning and Andrew also would join her for that.

June? What happened? You are scaring me! I said looking at her.

She still wasn't talking.

Andrew. She started.

What happened now? I asked concerned.

We had a really big fight and... She said slowly.

What??!! I asked.

He kissed me. She said without any expression.

I gasped.

I hate him! She said furiously as she wiped a drop of tear that was about roll down.

I was looking at her with confusion.

June! Talk to me! I begged.

There is nothing to talk about. She said walking towards the door.

Soon she rushed out the room.
