June P.o.v

The sun was shining and surprisingly I woke up really early. It was the day of the results of all the competitions. I got ready. I chose a baby pink top and matched it with black jeans, I had a leather jacket on since it was a bit chilly outside. I noticed Becky was still cuddling her pillow and it was almost eight in the morning already. I woke her up and pushed her to get ready. I remembered last night as I looked myself in the mirror while curling my hair. Soon after that last night flashed before in a blur.

I was shaken awake from my train of thoughts when I heard Becky call my name.

"June!!? Careful!  "  Becky screamed at me.

"What? "    I asked looking confused.

"You are holding the curling Iron wrongly!"   She came towards me running.

She took my right hand and I found a heat rash.

"See!??? Now you've burned your hand!  Are you even listening?"    She yelled at me for being careless.

"Yeah,  I'll put on something for that! " I said to convince her.

"June?  You can't be like this!"  She said looking serious.

"This has to stop! " She said slowly.

"What do you mean?"    I asked confused by her words.

"You were lost in your own thoughts and got this!"   She pointed out the rash.

"It's no big deal! I'll b fine really!"    I said and started applying a cream for the rash.

"You sure?  You are Okay? "   She asked eyeing me closely.

"Yeah, I am sure! Come on, now let's get going for breakfast!"     I nudged her.

"Yeah, Just give me five more minutes!"   She smiled sheepishly.

She got ready and we reached the dining hall to see Andrew and Liam sitting on our usual table. Andrew's eyes lit up when they landed on me, I replied with a small smile. Liam acted like he was busy with his phone. It was so obvious that He was avoiding Becky.

"Hey, Guys!"   I greeted them.

"Hi! "  They both said in unison.

Liam looked at Becky for a second but then again He went back to staring at his phone. I looked at Andrew awkwardly and sat near him. Becky was sitting next to me staring at Liam.

"This has to end!"  I whispered to Andrew.

"I know right?"  He whispered back.

"I want orange juice! "  Liam said getting up.

He walked towards the counter.

"Go talk to him!  Fix it!"  I said firmly looking at Becky.

"Alright. I am going!"  She signed.

She went toward him. I could see both of them were talking seriously.

"I hope they sort things out!"  I said looking at Andrew.

"Yeah, Me too! " He replied with a small smile.

We were silent for a few minutes. I was eating my omelette.

"So.. this is our Last day together here!"  He said gazing at me.

"Um. Yeah, I guess. But We could always meet anytime! " I tried my best to lighten up.

"Yeah, sure! "  He said as his blue eyes bored into mine.

I was sad that I couldn't see him from tomorrow But I was also glad for the time we spent together.

Liam P.o.v

I was standing at the counter only to avoid seeing Becky But not soon after I left the table I noticed her following me.

"Liam?"  She called me out.

"What?! "   I snapped a little but tried to hold it together.

"Um..I.I am.."    She shuttered.

"Nevermind.I gotta go anyway!"  I said turning away.

"Wait! "  She said and caught my arm.

"I am sorry! I know.. I was really rude yesterday. I don't want to fight with you... Can we just forget it ever happened? "   She asked genuinely apologized. 

I know I must be mad at her but looking at her puppy dog eyes made me give in.

"Alright!  Do you need anything to drink?"   I asked casually.

"Wait. That's it?  You are not mad at me? "   She asked looking a little surprised by my reaction. 

"I am not!  It's our last day here together and I don't wanna ruin it!"    I said with a sweet smile.

She looked a little bit taken back by my comment. She was expressionless for more than a second there. I couldn't say what she was thinking.

"Right!  Let's go eat! "  She said but her eyes reflected a hint of despair.

"Okay!"   I agreed as we were walking towards our table.

Andrew P.O.V

We were eating silently. I stole some graces of June while we were eating but she doesn't seem to notice me. Suddenly out of the blue Liam and Becky appeared again and joined us. They looked like they were again back to being friends but I wasn't yet sure.

"Why so glum?"   Liam asked looking at June.

"No, I am fine! "   She replied instantly almost too quickly.

"Are you sad cause Andrew is leaving?"   He asked with a teasing smirk.

June looked at me for a few seconds and she looked a bit flushed, her cheeks vigorously heated up with pink shade.

"Well.. yeah!  I'll miss you both! "  She played it safe. 

Smart move Paxton!

"Well.. I'll miss you too! "   Liam said mimicking.

Becky, on the other hand, was silent the whole time, It was so unlike her. We heard someone call June from distance. My head snapped in that direction only to see Jason. I remembered everything from yesterday and my blood started boiling with rage. I wanted to punch him so hard. My eyes travelled to look at a certain brunette but she was already looking at me before I could tell her anything.

"Hi, June! "   Jason greeted her as if they were some long last buddies.

"Umm. Hey !"    She replied with a hint of shock and a whole lot of awkwardness.

"Could I talk to you for a second?"    He asked looking a little bit hesitant.

Okay, No way! She is not going with him anywhere!

My hands formed into a fist and my jaw tightened at the thought that he had the guts to show up in front of June after what happened yesterday. I was fuming with anger like if he stood one more second talking to June I might actually explode like a TNT.

"Uh.Yeah, sure! " She said looking a bit uncertain.

She was about to stand up but then I pulled her hand and stopped her, that made her eyes meet mine. She was surprised by my action but she remained calm. Her face was so close to mine. She looked really pretty in a closer view. I was just gazing at her for a few seconds trying to study her features. Actually I kinda forgot What I wanted to tell her? 

"What!?! "  She hissed.

Her question kinda shook me from my thoughts.

"What do you mean by 'what?' Are you out of your mind?  You can't go and just talk to him!  Not after what happened yesterday! "    I expressed my views firmly.

"Andrew! This not the time to discuss besides I gotta give him a chance to explain! "   She spoke in a lower register.

"You don't have to do anything!"   I rolled my eyes. 

"Leave my hand, I am going! "  She sent a glare towards my direction.

"NO! "   I whisper yelled.

"Shh!! "   She hissed again. 

"I'll be fine!"   She added pulling away from me.

She was walking away with Jason. My eyes were fixed on her the whole time.

"You gotta calm down Andrew!"    Becky looked a bit worried.

I didn't reply I was just silent. She doesn't know what happened yesterday so she was asking me to calm down I thought to myself.

"I am starving let's eat!"   Liam said to break the tension.

They both were eating their breakfast. Breakfast was officially ruined for me when Jason showed up out of the blue, My eyes were on June the whole time.

June P.o.v

I was awkwardly standing with Jason near the Entrance of the dining hall. It's been more than five minutes since we came here but none of hadn't spoken a single word. I didn't know what to say but then again so did he.

"He is oddly protective of you! "  He started obnoxiously.

His question offended me. Andrew was right to act like that because well..I am his friend and after what happened last night with Jason anyone will act like that, right?

"What do you wanna talk about? "   I asked coldly.

"You Were Right!  It wasn't you who sent those messages to me! "   His eyes were full of guilt.

I looked at him wanting to know more.

"Who was it?  "   I asked crossing my hands over my chest.

"When was the last time you've used your IM account? "   He threw a question suddenly.

"I don't know! May be two to three months ago, Why do you ask? "  I asked curiously.

"Someone must have hacked your account, I mean I started receiving messages from that account about two to three months ago." He continued looking serious.

"Do have any idea about who might have hacked it? Anybody who doesn't like you?  or doesn't get along with you?"    He shot me with another question.

"Uhh.I have no idea!"    I said looking confused.

Why didn't he approach me in person if he was receiving messages from me?  I thought to myself.

"Alright, I've asked the guys to find out...I ll let you know as soon as I get something! "   He said looking at me.

"Umm.Thanks !"   I looked at him and tried to give him a small smile.

He was looking at without any expression in his face. I was scared thinking what might be running in the head?

"No, I am sorry!  For everything..The way I acted yesterday and the day before.. I wasn't thinking straight!"   He said shaking his head, I could tell he was embarrassed by his actions.

"You were just another victim of some sick joke!"   I tried to make me feel better.

"I am sorry anyway! "   He replied instantly.

"It's Okay! "    I muttered.

"So Are we good?"   He asked as curiosity filled his eyes.

"Yeah, I guess!" I flashed a toothy grin. 

"Thank you, June! "  He smiled back.

He started walking away and suddenly he stopped on his tracks and turned towards me, he came back in a rush. He took my hand as his eyes were looking at me with deep intensity.

"I really didn't mean to hurt you June! "   He said looking at my hands.

"Ja. Jason. It's alright.."   I started.

But I was interrupted when he pulled me into a hug.I was startled by him. I was clearly caught off guard there but I flinched a little but he locked me with his strong arms not letting me out from his grip.

"I am really sorry for being an ass! "   He apologized again.

"It's alright Jason.. I forgive you!"  I said trying to pulling away.

I looked at him and I could see he was genuinely sorry and he was full of guilt. He gave a small smile, which I've never seen from him. I reflected back his smile. After a few seconds, he went out of the hall and I  found myself walking towards my friends. I came near my table and everyone was staring at me as if I had sprouted two heads.

"What? "   I asked innocently.

"What was that about? "   Becky asked surprised.

"Uh. We had a small misunderstanding!  He apologized and that's all! "   I explained.

"Why was he getting all touchy? "   Liam looked a bit confused.

"It wasn't like that, He was genuinely sorry! "   I replied looking at Andrew who was glaring at me with cold fury.

"I am done with breakfast, I gotta go! "    Andrew said standing up from his chair.

I was curious why he wouldn't wait for the rest of us. Before I could say anything he started walking towards the exit. I followed him but he had long legs and it was almost impossible to catch up with him but I did it anyway.

"Wait!!!!  Andrew?  What happened? "   I asked grabbing his hand.

"Nothing!  I am just done with the food!"   He averted my gaze on him.

"Sure? "   I asked again.

"Yeah, I am good!  I'll see you later! "   He said walking away.

He walked out of the hall as I stood there watching him.

Andrew P.O.v

They were both talking seriously and then Jason was about to leave. Wait. Why was he walking towards June again? What the hell?? He is hugging her now?  What the hell is going on?  I was about to explode and she hugged him back?  Yesterday she needed saving from the psycho?  Now they both are hugging? I was freaking out.

"I am done with breakfast!  I gotta go!"   I said as June was talking with Becky and Liam.

I started walking away and then June stopped me.

"Wait!!!!  Andrew?  What happened?"   she asked grabbing my hand.

"Nothing!  I am just done with the food! "  I  replied.

I walked out of the hall.I wanted to clear things with Jason. He has to stay away from June for good. I found Jason walking towards the main entrance of the college block.

"Jason! "  I screamed from a distance.

He stopped as he heard me. He started walking towards me.

"Andrew?  I take it? "  He asked arrogantly.

" Don't you dare try to pull another one of the stunts that you pulled back there! "   I got straight to the point.

"Whoa whoa!  What are you talking about? "  He asked sarcastically.

"You know what I am talking about..Stay away from June!"  I warned.

"Well, I won't!  Cause I don't want to!"    He replied with a smug look.

"You are here just for a day dude!  Enjoy your day and pack your bags and go back to wherever the hell you came from! "  He said spitefully. 

"I am here for the long run! And  You can't do anything about it! "   He added with his evil smirk.

"You.. ! "  I exclaimed.

My fist clenched in anger, I knew I was about to hit him.

"Drew ?? "   Liam called me.

"What are you doing here?  Our results are about to be announced!"   He said pulling me towards the other side.

I gave a death glare at Jason but his arrogant smirk did not leave his face.

"What's wrong with you bro?  Getting into a fight on our last day? "   Liam asked looking a tad shocked.

"Why does everyone keep saying it?  Like it's the end of the world! "   I screamed in frustration.

"Calm down Drew!  I have an idea for that! "   Liam said suddenly.

He took me to the main notice board and asked me to read an article, if this was his idea of making me feel better then it sucked.

"It's just a stupid notice board!"  I hissed with annoyance.

"Look closely! "  He said rolling his eyes.

There was something written in block letters.

"HERE IS AN OPEN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN SOMETHING  USEFUL AND INNOVATIVE. WE ARE ABOUT TO LAUNCH A SPECIAL PROGRAM HERE AT OUR CAMPUS EVERY weekend."

"ALL STUDENTS FROM OTHER COLLEGES ARE ALSO INVITED TO BE A PART OF IT. REGISTRATION BEGINS FROM 2 PM TO 3 PM ON 2O the FEB."

"20th Feb?  That's today right?"   I asked with excitement.

Liam nodded.

"Then what are we waiting for let's go register! "  I exclaimed.

Liam arched his eyebrows at my reaction.

"What?  Don't act like you aren't interested?  After all, you showed me this!"    I smirked.

"Well..."  He started. 

" That's what I thought! "  I flashed a smile at him.

"Let's surprise the girls! "  I gave an idea.

"You mean not to tell them about this and just appear on Saturday?  Hell yeah!  " Liam gladly agreed.

We went for registration and waited in line.
