June's P.o.v

As per our dress code, everyone dressed in white and showed up in the main ground. Our ground was very different. The grass was trimmed evenly and there were tents for refreshments. Another tent was filled with water balloons, water guns and colour powder. It was World Colors Day indeed. The outdoor decoration was mesmerizing. There were white ribbons hanging here and there along with colourful bells and decoration stuff. It was like a totally different place. There was a small pool with clear water. Actually there were small pools here and there. The stage was also decorated according to the theme. Seeing the whole set up made me very happy. It was so pretty.

ALL STUDENTS ALL REQUESTED TO TAKE THEIR PLACES.

An announcement came from nowhere.

We settled down immediately.

Then I saw him. God, I hated him! I couldn't stop staring at him. But not because I was angry at him cause he looked stunning in his White Shirt.

Am I crazy? I hate him. This had to end.

"Hope you are wearing your waterproof mascara!"  Becky said winking.

I laughed hard even though it wasn't that funny cause he was looking at me. I wanted to show him I was doing fine and he doesn't have any effect on me. Although I wasn't sure if that was really true.Oh shit! I m staring again! STOP IT! STOP IT!

"Hello? Earth to June?" Becky called out.

"Uhh..yea I am here of course!"  I tried to act normally.

She spotted Liam and waved Hi. Uhhhh god no please don't bring that guy with you. How can I be stupid? Harry aka Andrew is his friend, of course, he will come with him.

"Over here!"  Becky called out.

"Hi! Someone is looking Pretty"  He said with a smile.

"Uh..thank you!"   She replied.

"I was talking about your friend."  He joked.

I rolled my eyes wanted to go to some other planet.

I saw Andrew's face frown, of course, he is allergic to me. Becky punched Liam playfully and sat near him. Now there was only a seat beside me. I was kinda annoyed at the situation.

"Drew? What are you waiting to sit down!"  Liam pointed out.

" Sorry man! I gotta go! I'll be in the front. I'll catch up with you afterwards! "  He said looking at me.

He walked away and suddenly turning back at me and gave a deadly glare.

"What is his problem?" Becky asked suddenly.

"Don't know!"  He said looking confused.

I was feeling weird. I mean should I apologize? But he was rude too. Uhh.I don't know.

"I hope you are happy!"  I heard an annoying voice behind me.

Kate!?? Just when I thought my day couldn't get any better.

"Yeah,I m good..Thank you!" I replied sarcastically.

She made a face and started hunting for the next guy (poor soul).

"Is this seat taken?" I heard a familiar voice.

"Uhh no!"   I said turning back, It was Justin.

Becky gave a wicked smile. I gave her a " like really?" stare. She made a "Pretty please face. We talked with our eyes.

"Hi, Beautiful!"  He addressed me.

"Hey!"  I said smiling.

"You look nice!"  He complimented me

"Umm. Thank you too!"   I returned his favour smiling.

He smiled back.

We never spoke thereafter. The principal was speaking. I didn't listen to speech much. I was thinking about how to start the conversation about his cousin.

"The decoration is amazing! Don't you think?"  I asked.

"Yeah...My brother did a decent job!"  He gave a small chuckled.

"Brother?"   I asked as if I know nothing.

"Yep, my cousin Harris! " You may know him from High school he said.

"Oh! Doesn't ring a bell, Maybe I don't remember!"   I said looking innocently.

"I think Becky knows him!"    I added.

Secretary laughing at Becky's reaction.

"Oh, yea! I remember him. He was the president of the dance club right?"    She acted.

"Yeah, that was him! "  He said slowly.

"So Is he here?"   I asked hesitantly

"Umm..yea! Over there Look!"    He pointed.

Becky, please don't freak out.

But To my surprise she was calm.

"Hey..that's Becky's crush huh?"   I heard Liam whisper.

Oh wow! Now Liam knows huh? I have to say I feel less special.

"Um..who told you?"  I whisper back.

"Becky of course!"  He replied casually.

"Hey let's mess with Becky!"  He gave a Mind-blowing idea.

"Awesome!"   I exclaimed with an evil smile.

"Hey..who is your cousin sitting with?"   I asked Justin innocently.

"Uh..no one!"   He replied looking at him.

"He doesn't really know anyone here I guess! " He added.

"Oh..well then invite him,I think he feels out of place,"  I said immediately.

"Uhh..He does look uncomfortable!"   He said sarcastically.

Suddenly he turned towards me smiling.

"What?"  I asked noticing his reaction.

"I love the way you care about everyone a lot. It is really rare to find someone like that you know?"   He said seriously.

I could help but blush a little, He was so sweet. I gave him a shy smile. Then he called out 'H'

"H?"  I asked him.

"Yeah, We call him that!"   He said casually.

And a few seconds later He responded with a wave.

H came towards us.

"Well.. this should be interesting!"   Liam winked.

"Totally!"   I left out an evil smile.

We both enjoyed looking at Becky's reaction.

Liam was really fun-loving, he got along with us really well considering we have only spent limited time together.

Liam was a full-on teasing mode.

"Hey there Justin and Justin's friends I take it"  H smirked.

"Hello, Cousin!"   Justin replied.

Justin introduced us to H.

"I gotta say you guys look really different since you were in High school!"   H exclaimed.

"How so?"   Liam asked sarcastically.

"I mean the girls have gotten prettier!"   He smirked.

I gave a look at Becky and try to control my laughter. She kept quiet.

"Oh yea, how was Becky back then?"   Liam asked and winked at Becky.

"Umm...I remember her with Nerd glasses and really curly hair...She used to be in our dance club too."   He added casually.

Becky was trying hard not to scream like a fangirl,  I am sure.

"Yeah..that was me!" She just smiled and replied.

"Oh my god! He noticed me."   She whispered to me.

We were giggling like crazy people.

"I remember June from school"  I heard an unexpected voice,  It was Justin's

"Someone really quite and really Pretty. I remembered you used to have really Long hair! "  He said with a small smile.

I was expressionless less and was processing what he said?

"Umm..yeah! Thank you!"     Was all I could come up with.

"Someone has got an admirer!"   Becky winked at me.

"Yeah..I know who? But H doesn't!"   I added sarcastically.

"Mean!"   She made a Puppy face.

"Are we having the time of our life? Yes, we are!"   Liam was laughing.

We were laughing hard. Suddenly Liam phone was ringing. And after a few seconds, He left us.
