Ruby's PoV:

I walk down the hallway, holding my basketball and duffle bag. I ignore all the people calling my name.
I walk into the gym, and I see the Diamonds in there cheerleading uniform.

They call me over, but I ignore them. I walk in to the girls locker room, and my teammates are in there.

"Ruby!", they all yell, as I come in.

I shove pass them, and go to my locker. As I'm settling my stuff down, I feel a shadow over me. I turn around and I see its Jasper and Amethyst.

"Yo Rubes, everything okay?", Amethyst asks me.

I slam my locker shut. "I'm fine, I'm just... Thinking." I sit on the bench, and take off my shoes.

Jasper sits next to me, and pats my shoulder. "So... I heard Sapphire stayed at your place."

I take off my other shoe. "Yeah, so?"

Amethyst grins. "So... What you guys did?", she wiggled her eyebrows.

I look up and blush. "What the hell, guys! We literally just met!"

Jasper stands up. "Dude, why do you hang out with her?"

I put my red sneakers on. "Because, shes way cooler than you guys...", I mumble.

Jasper grabs my collar, and pulls me up. "Might wanna repeat that."

I push her away. "Just leave me alone! Your such a jerk!" This catches a few peoples attention.

Jasper growls at me. "Say it to my face!"

I stand up, ready to say it again. Jasper moves closer to me. "I said--"
Then Amethyst pulls Jasper away. And everybody gathers around us.

"Ruby, dude. Just let it go.", she says.

I sit back down on the bench, ignoring everyone around me. "Whatever, your lucky Jasper. I would totally kick your ass." I continue to tie my shoes.

Then I feel myself getting slammed on the floor. My arms get scraped, and my head slams down. I hear ringing in my ears.

I lift my head up, and Jasper is standing in front of me smiling. I hear the crowd start to chant, 'Fight! Fight! Fight!'
I stand up and look at my arms, there bruised and bleeding.

I see Amethyst behind Jasper, yelling at her. My head really hurts, and my arms are killing me.
I try to stand up, but my legs are asleep. Jasper walks up to me, Amethyst runs behind her.

"Amethyst, stay out of this!", she shoves Amethyst back, and she falls on the ground.

"Amethyst!", I yell.

I don't get a response. I look at her, and she's unconscious. Oh great.

Jasper picks me up, by my collar. "This is from health class, when you told me to leave."

She slaps me in the face. The whole locker room, goes insane. People start to run around, and pull out there phones.

I feel my cheek burn, and eyes on the verge of tears. I hold them back, and I kick Jasper in the stomach.

She drops me, and stumbles back. Everybody starts to yell and scream. I touch my cheek, and it stings.

"Ow!", I mumble.

I'm about to try and stand up, but then I feel a punch to my face. That's when everything went black.

Sapphires PoV:

I tap my pencil on my desk. Right now, I'm in Health class, waiting for Ruby to show up. I'm the only one, who's partner isn't here yet. If I fail this class, I'm so gonna get Ruby.

I have been practicing what I'm gonna say to her. I really want to talk about yesterday.

It's gonna go like, 'Hey, we need to talk.' Or 'Why didn't you text me--'

Just then Lapis bursts through the door. She looks around, and spots me. Then she walks up to Mrs. Quartz, and whispers in her ear.

Mrs. Quartz shows a shocked face, and stands up from her desk. "Um... Sapphire dear, can you please go to the nurses office."

I start to flush. "Oh... Sure." I stand up slowly, and gather my things. As I walk to the front of the class, I hear people whispering things like, 'lucky' and 'she's in trouble'.

I walk out the door with Lapis, and she grabs my arm. "Wait, what's wrong?" I start to panic.

"Dude, Ruby just wants to see you. She's really hurt."

She stops in front of a door, I've never seen before. There's a white sign that had a Red Cross, and it said 'Nurses Office'.

She opens the door, and we step inside. Lapis talks to the nurse real quick, and then grabs my arm.

She pulls me into a back room. The first thing I notice, is a bunch of cots.
On the cots are Ruby and, Amethyst. Jasper is sitting at a tiny table. Pearl was sitting on the floor, next to Amethyst. And Peridot was sitting on a chair. Jaspers was in handcuffs, and there was two police officers talking to her basketball coach, sitting at the table too.

I rush up to Ruby. She has bandages on both of her arms, and she had an ice pack on her head. "Ruby, what the hell happened?!", I yell.

I sit on the floor, next to her cot. I touch her arm.

"Ouch!", she yelps.

"I'm sorry!", I exclaimed.

"Eh, it's okay. Thanks for coming.", she shrugs.

"Ruby, tell me what happened. How did you get these carpet burns?", I ask.

She explains to me how she was defending me, from Jasper. And then how Jasper attacked her. I nodded, listening to every word. Then she told me, how Jasper knocked Amethyst unconscious, and then her. She said while she was unconscious, her basketball coach came inside, and freaked out. Then she called the police.

"I'm so sorry, Ruby. Thank you for defending me."

She smiles weakly. "No problem. My mom should pick me up soon, wanna come?"

I blush and scratch my neck. "I dunno, it's kind of awkward around your mom."

Ruby laughs. "It's okay. She's totally chill around you. Plus, everybody else is coming." Then Ruby changed her expression into a frown. "Except for Jasper.", she growled.

Jasper heard us, and turned around. "Hey! Just cause I'm in handcuffs, doesn't mean I can't hear you!", she yells.

"Oh go suck a lemon!", Ruby yells back.

I chuckle quietly. Ruby blushes. "Your laugh is cute."

I look down and flush. "Heh, thanks."

Lapis walks up to us. "How come you wanted Sapphire?", she asks Ruby.

"Because she's cool." , Ruby says calmly.

I look at Lapis, and she wiggles her eyebrows at me. I blush. "Lapis!", I whisper.

Just then Ruby's mom comes inside.  She rushes up to her. "Oh gosh! Ruby sweetie, are you okay?!"

Ruby gives a quick nod. "Yeah mom, I'm alright."

She gives a sigh of relief. "Oh good. Do you need me to, teach Jasper a lesson. I have a sledge hammer, in the trunk."

"Mom!" Ruby whispers. "Anyways, can my friends sleepover?"

Scarlet thinks for a second. "Yeah sure. Who exactly?"

"Amethyst, Pearl, Lapis, Peridot, and Sapphire."

Scarlet eyes widen. "My, that's an awful lot of people. I suppose they can. If there parents are okay, with it."

"Yup, they all agreed.", Ruby nodded.

Just then Scarlet turned her attention to me. "Oh Sapphire, I didn't even notice you were here!"

I smile. "Yup, Ruby called me in here.", I say proudly.

Scarlet laughs. "So, are you two dating now? I bet Ruby didn't tell you that your her first--"

Then Ruby threw a pillow at her. "Mom! Quit it!", she blushed.

Scarlet laughed, and fixed her hair. "It's okay boo-bear, you don't have to yell."

"No Scarlet, I believe we are not dating. We're still just friends..."

Then an officer called Scarlet over, and asked her if she wants to press charges, on Jasper. Scarlet declined, because she said she knew Jasper well, and she forgives her.

Then the nurse gave Ruby and Amethyst some medicine, and we all had an excuse to leave school early. We walked to the school parking lot, and me and Pearl had to help Ruby and Amethyst, get inside the mini van. Then Scarlet drove us to Fish Stew Pizza, to get a pickup pizza, and then she drove us to our houses to get clothes and sleeping bags.

*Time skip to Ruby's house*

Ruby's PoV:

We were all in my room, eating our pizza and watching movies. Amethyst and Pearl were on my top bunk, and Lapis and Peridot were sharing a bean bag. So me and Sapphire had to share the bottom bunk.

Then the movie finished, and we all just talked.

Amethyst shoved some Chaaaps in her mouth. "Yo Lapis, how did you and Peridot meet?", she said between chews.

Lapis sat up straight. "It's kind of a corny story...", she blushed.

Peridot sat up too. "I don't think it's corny. I thought it was romantic." She playfully punched Lapis's arm. "You're such a cheesy dork."

Pearl laughed. "Tell us!"

Peridot stood up, and went to the middle of the room. She cleared her throat. "Ahem. Last year, I was called into the principles office. I never got in trouble, so I was pretty nervous--"

Amethyst interrupted her. "Haha! Nerd!"

Peridot scowled at her. Amethyst immediately shut up. "Anyways, Ms. Diamond told me I had to tutor a girl, cause I had the highest grade in algebra. I was not happy about this. She then told me, that she had the lowest grade--"

Lapis stood up quickly. "Just pointing this out, I do not have the lowest grade anymore!" Then she smirked evilly. "Me and Peridot have a few tricks up our sleeves."

Sapphire gasped. "Did she cheat for you?!"

Lapis scratched her head. "Well sorta, she did my homework. Also, Jasper has the lowest grade in the school now. So, thanks Peridot."

Peridot snorted. "There's no way, I would ever tutor her..."

I growled. "Ugh, who cares about her. Continue the story!"

"Oh yes! So, I agreed that I would tutor Lapis every Monday 12:30-1:00pm. Eventually, we became close friends, and school homecoming was coming up. The day before it, Lapis told me to meet her in the library, I was suspicious, but I still agreed. When I got there I couldn't find her, so I was gonna leave. But then, she popped up from nowhere, and all of her friends had shirts on that spelled "Homecoming?". I was so flushed, but I accepted. Ever since, we've been dating."

Once Peridot finished she looked at Lapis, who had her face in her hands. Peridot walked over to her. "Aw, it's okay babe. It was super cute." She kissed Lapis's head.

Pearl yawned. "That was a cute story, but I'm kind of tired."

I stood up. "I'm gonna go take a shower."

They all nodded there heads. "Don't worry dude, we'll be asleep.", Amethyst said stretching.

I went in my bathroom, and undressed. I was almost done taking a bath, but then I heard the door open.

"Who's there?", I asked.

They didn't answer. I heard giggles, and shushing. Is there more than one person here? I became suspicious. "Amethyst? Can you pass me my towel?", I asked, turning off the water.

I heard more giggles, and then I felt cold, icy, water being splashed on me, from above. Then I heard them run back outside.

"You idiots, are so dead!!", I screamed.

I came out the tub, and I looked for my towel. They freaking took my towel!?!

I heard laughing coming from outside. "Gimme my towels, you dumbasses!!", I yelled.

Then I heard a voice. "You gotta come and get it~"  This was totally Amethyst's idea. Well, I'm gonna either have to sleep in here. Naked. Or go outside, and be a man. Well, a girl technically.

I took a deep breath. This is gonna be a long night.
