He didn't sleep much that night. For some reason, he couldn't get confortable. Then at three am, someone entered his room. Her sweet voice suddenly filled his ears.
"I'm tired."
"Did you have a nightmare?"
"Yes."
"Come here then."
She slid in next to him and curled herself into a ball. Her soft, even breathing soon filled the room. Jax's mindo was now put at ease. He settled himself next to her, careful to leave room between them, and finally drifted off into a well needed deep sleep.
