Chapter 4
Oof, sorry guys. This was supposed to be posted yesterday but happy belated loneliness day heh heh. Also happy discount chocolates day! See you guys in about two weeks when I post again.

By lunch, I could already see Natalie sitting down with a half-eaten McDonalds meal and another one waiting for her.
"Oh my God, Nat. How are you still alive with how much junk you eat?" I asked.
She shrugged and finished her mouthful of food before speaking. "I stick to healthy food at home. You got a problem with what I eat?"
I shook my head and sat in my regular spot. Soon enough, Hunter came walking over with Riley and Damien so all we were waiting for was Tony and my new friends.
"Don't worry guys, fabulousness has arrived," Damien said, posing dramatically.
"Where? Are they behind you?" I joked, looking around the back of Damien.
"Hey!" Damien smacked my arm before walking to his seat.
I smirked and he just scrunched up his face in response to which I retaliated by sticking out my tongue. Just then, I saw Lynn and Liam walk into the cafeteria and I waved them over so they knew where I was.
"Hi guys, this is the gang. Well, minus Tony since he hasn't gotten here yet." I introduced Lynn and Liam to everyone individually before shoving over a bit. "Here Lynn, sit beside me."
"Okay, I see when I'm not wanted," Riley said, fake pouting as Lynn sat between him and me. "On the plus side though, Lynn, you get to sit next to the most good looking guy here."
"But Damien's on the other side of the table," Lynn joked, feigning confusion.
"Hey!" Riley shouted.
"Why, thank you. I know I'm fabulous. Some people can't appreciate that." Damien glared at me.
"Definitely looking great in that shirt. I didn't know you could actually match colours to rainbow without it clashing." Lynn smiled.
"Oh, now you're just flattering me."
Lynn continued to talk to everyone while Liam just sat on the end beside Damien, talking occasionally when Tony came over to the table. "Hey Sky," He greeted, kissing me.
"Hi, Tony. I invited a few people to sit at our table, this is Liam." I pointed in his direction. "And you already met his sister, Lynn."
Hearing her name seemed to automatically put him in a sour mood. *What's his deal?* I asked myself.
I got up to get lunch and when I came back, the first thing I noticed was Tony sending a death glare to Lynn who paid no mind to it. I returned back to my spot between the two and kissed Tony's cheek to try and calm him down. His face softened and he turned his attention to me.
"Why'd you invite her to sit with us?" asked Tony, venom lacing his voice.
"Because she's my new friend. What's your problem with her anyway?"
"She flirted with you right in front of me then hugged you as if I wasn't even standing there with you. Why shouldn't I have a problem with her? I don't want other people flirting with you."
"What? No way. Besides, even if she did flirt with me, I wouldn't care. I'm not into girls, my dad didn't raise a lesbian," I explained in a semi hushed tone.
Tony murmured something I couldn't catch and looked down at the food he had brought in with him.
"Hey Skylar," Lynn called and I turned to her. "Thanks for letting Liam and me sit with you guys. Your friends are great. It was nice to see your beautiful face too."
Hearing this, Tony grunted and placed a hand on my thigh.
"Seriously, stop with that, and I'd think everyone else would say the same about you. If you want, you and Liam are both welcome to become permanent residents of our table."
I smiled and Lynn smiled back, nodding at me. Just then, Tony tightened his grip on my thigh before releasing a bit again. I swear, that boy needed to calm down. The bell for period three rang and we all got up to leave. Tony once again gave me a seemingly never-ending kiss before walking off to class. Lynn and Liam stood waiting for me since we all had math now. I quickly grabbed my bag so I didn't keep them waiting and we started walking to class.
"Is Tony always like that?" questioned Liam.
"What, you mean him being all physical with me and acting like he's got a giant spoon up his ass?" I asked sarcastically, frustration in my voice. "Nope, that just started today. I hope it stops soon and he goes back to his normal self though because this new Tony is already starting to get on my nerves."
We dropped the subject after that but continued talking as we walked down the hall. Getting to our class, Lynn walked over to her desk two away from mine. I went to my desk as well and Liam followed, sitting at his desk in between us.
Class went on for a while before exhaustion hit me like a truck. I guess staying up all night had to have backfired at some point. After some time of fighting to keep my eyes open, I decided it was taking too much effort and slowly let my eyes droop closed, falling into a sleep I'd probably get in trouble for later.

Tony and I were sitting under the stars, his arm wrapped around my waist while I laid my head comfortably on his toned chest. I looked peacefully into the vast universe when Tony placed a hand under my chin, turning my head to him. I looked into his blue eyes, the soft gleam of the moon making his black hair shine. We both started to lean closer to each other when I suddenly was in a different place with someone who definitely wasn't Tony.
All of a sudden, I was lying down next to Lynn. We were watching the sunset with the plush grass pressed against our backs. I always loved to watch the setting sun with good company, seeing the shades of the sky change from its once blue state into mixtures of orange and pink and purple. This truly was my favourite time of day and at that moment, I felt serene.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Lynn roll over to face me and I did the same. Her radiant smile filled me with a sense of peace and safety that nothing else could bring. Lynn's eyes reflected the colour of the sky turning then a beautiful lilac that left me staring at them, her freckles imitating the night sky that was slowly making its way out. I couldn't help but continue to stare at her for a while until I noticed her moving closer.
With Lynn slowly leaning forward, I found that instead of pushing her away or moving on my own, I was unable to move. It was like I was patiently waiting for her to close the distance. Lynn was just inches away and closing the space when I let my eyes flutter closed. She was so close that I could feel her warm breath on my lips when I heard a loud, obnoxious bell.

I was pulled out of my dream by the school bell telling me it was time for period four. Thank God for that. I don't know what I would have done if the dream continued with where it was going. I couldn't help but blush at what just played through my mind. Swiftly grabbing my bag, I speed-walked out of the room.
*What the hell was that? Was I just about to kiss Lynn??* I asked myself which made my cheeks turn into an inferno and I was no doubt as red as a tomato. *There's no way I was going to kiss Lynn, not even in a dream! No, no, no, I'm not gay. That didn't mean anything.* I silently panicked.
Getting to English, I walked over to my desk and sat down. I made myself completely flustered thanks to that dream and I didn't think with my current train of thought I was going to fix the blush that was no doubt still plaguing my cheeks.
"Sky, you good there bud? You're looking pretty red." I jumped when I heard Liam's voice but looked up to meet his eyes.
"Uh, yeah, I'm fine."
"Then what's with the..." He trailed off, pointing to his cheeks to signify my own blushing face.
"Just remembered something embarrassing that I can't get out of my head now," I lied.
"I'll just pretend that's totally why you're blushing up a storm right now. Anyway, I should probably tell you we have math homework on page 340 due tomorrow, all the questions."
I shook my head. "I never do the homework."
Liam nodded and left to his desk with a small salute, a cheeky grin played on his lips. I face planted onto my desk and covered my head trying to calm my blushing face. A groan escaped my lips as the bell rings. Why would I even dream of that?

School finally ended and I rushed out of the building. I was still extremely tired and couldn't wait to get home to be done with the day. Once again, I had to wait an eternity for Hunter to get out of whatever kind of rehearsal/practice thing he had to do for the band in the play.
Letting a puff of air pass through my lips, I sat in my car for a while just contemplating taking a nap while I waited. After some time I gave up and decided sleep now wouldn't be worth it since I'd just get interrupted whenever Hunter got here. Giving another huff, I pulled out my phone. Might as well have done something productive while I waited. When I first opened up my phone, I saw that I had a missed call from Tony.
*When did he do that?* I asked myself before calling him back.
"Hello?"
"Hey Tony, sorry I missed your call."
"No worries. I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to go out on Saturday," Tony suggested.
"Tony, you know I work weekends."
"Yeah, but I was thinking after your shift I could take you out to eat for dinner or something."
I thought for a while. There wasn't anything I was actually planning on doing this Saturday and it would be nice to actually do something alone with my boyfriend for once. I rolled the idea around in my head for a few more seconds because I knew how Tony had been acting lately. There was no way I wanted him to be so clingy with me. It would be especially worse if I had nothing else to focus on, but then I had a thought. Maybe if I do go on this date with him, he'll see that he has nothing to worry about and will calm down with his constant annoying touching.
"Skylar?" I must have been taking too long.
"Oh, sorry Tony. I just spaced out. Uh, yeah. Going on a date after my shift sounds amazing."
"Great, I'll pick you up an hour after your shift so you have time to go home and change. Something casual will be fine. Bye, love you hon."
I smiled, he's back in a good mood. "Love you too babe."
I shook my head and sighed, zoning out to think about my perfect boyfriend Tony. It wasn't until Hunter got in the car that I snapped out of my reverie.
"Why do I always have to drive you like I'm a chauffeur? We're the same age." I complained.
"Well, I failed my driver's ed and you didn't. Besides, it's not like you have anywhere to be."
"And, which one of us is single again? Oh right, that's you, because I'm the better, cooler twin," I said, starting up the car. "And I do have places to be thank you very much."
Hunter didn't argue back even though I kind of set him up for a really good comeback. He just crossed his arms and grumpily pouted as we drove home in silence.

The exhaustion from last night may have been under full effect, but I'd rather not go to sleep on an empty stomach again. I grabbed some leftover pizza from the fridge and wolfed it down before heading straight to my room, falling asleep almost instantly as my head hit the pillow.

"Ahh!" I was woken up by the splash of water on my face. My hand also felt warm so I lifted it to find it dripping warm water. "Really Hunter?!"
He snickered. "You slept through your alarm and I couldn't wake you up. Come on, I had to. It's a little disappointing the warm water thing didn't work though." He snickered again, a little louder this time. I growled at my childish brother, trying to obliterate him with my stare. "Now get up, you were already supposed to be up and moving twenty minutes ago."
Groaning, I sat up and waited for Hunter to leave. He left soon after and I went to first move the glass of water from beside my bed. Welp, I'm glad that didn't work, then I was definitely going to need a shower. Giving a sigh, I got up and got ready for school.

Saturday had finally come and I must say, I'm really glad about how Tony's been for the week. I guess I was right. Me taking the offer for the date made him and his stupid jealousy subside. He must finally understand that I'm not into girls and I'm his loyal girlfriend who's not leaving him for a friend who's just being nice. It seems I probably won't have to worry about Tony's unwanted touches during our date later in the evening.
I started to think about some of the dates and events I've been to with Tony. My favourites were probably our evening picnics. I always loved going out with Tony then because we got to see the setting sun as we ate and cuddled together. Every time it would happen, it would feel perfect and we'd end up kissing under the shifting sky. No matter what, that would always be one of my favourite memories.
I also really enjoyed when I visited his house. His parents were always so kind to me and his mom made the best food. Tony's parents were absolutely wonderful people and I could see how Tony was such a great guy himself.
Shaking my head, I tried to derail my thoughts. I had thought for quite a long time about Tony and my relationship. If I continued on my thoughts anymore, I could risk not being on time. Walking out to my car, I started it up and headed to work before I actually made myself late for my 11 AM shift.

By the end of my shift, it was about 5 o'clock and I was beat. I drove home so I could change out of my uniform the hole in the wall pizza place I worked for had me wear. Finally getting out of the uncomfortable shirt and putting on some normal clothes, I wanted to just pass out on the bed, but then I remembered I promised Tony I would go out with him today after my shift. Looking at the clock in my room, it read 5:35. At this point, I wasn't even up to going on the date. All I really wanted to do at that point was curl up and sleep or at least just lounge around the house. I mean, a short nap was always an option, but what would Tony's reaction be if he came and I didn't answer the door? With a sigh, I decided to stay up to wait for Tony. I'd just tell him I don't want to go out anywhere when he got here. Maybe he'll stay and cuddle with me.
