"Kissing strangers, till I find someone I love"

Y/N's POV:

Aasim grabs a bow and Louis grabs a chair leg with nails on it.

I look at Louis's weapon and he notices. "What? This? I call it, Chairles" Louis rests the chair leg on his shoulders.

I sigh heavily and roll my eyes. "Puns?" I ask. "It's a good one" Louis smiles. "You're just annoying me more and more... let's get going" Aasim says.

The three of us walk out the gate and into the woods. There's tree with red ribbon them, these red ribbons are what saved me... I would've never found this place without the trail of red ribbons.

"Do you know what the red ribbons mean?" Louis asks. "Uh... no" I say. "It means there's a trap there, try to watch out for traps, I don't want you hurt" Louis says. "I'll do my best" I smile.

Louis really likes flirting doesn't he? Although... it seems normal for him. He probably does it and doesn't even know he's flirting.

I don't exactly have feelings for him though, I've only known him for two days, but he is cute...

Louis's POV:

I just said that... god...

I must sound so stupid right now, it's amazing she hasn't gotten weirded out by me yet. Unless she already is and she's just pretending...

She's the only thing that's been on my mind, all day and night, every hour, every minute. I just want to talk to her all the time...

It's like an addiction, I always need to hear her voice or see her smile. I get attached too easily I guess...

Y/N's POV:

We continue walking down the trail to wherever this hunting spot it, it's just trees everywhere. It's sort of scary but also relaxing, I don't know if something will jump out at me but I also feel safe, especially with two other people around me.

"So Y/N, are you enjoying it here? Ya know, at the school" Louis says. "So far I'm really liking this place, it seems like it could be a new home for me" I say.

"Could? Why not 'it is a new home for me'?" Louis asks. "I still have to help my original group Louis, I appreciate the help from everyone at this school, but I won't stay here forever... I still have a family and I need to save them" I say. Louis looked down for a bit, I can tell he's sad about what I said. But I said the truth...

I'm only here because Minnie and Sophie told me it'd be the safest place until I find a way to save everyone. That doesn't mean I'll stay here forever.

"If you ever need help with that, we can help" Aasim says. "Oh! Thanks... but I don't wanna risk getting anyone here hurt" I say. "Is it dangerous?" Aasim asks. "Yeah, really dangerous actually... it's like a suicide mission honestly" I say.

"You shouldn't risk it either then" Louis cuts in. "Louis... if she needs help, she'll ask for it" Aasim says. "Y/N you can't reject help when people are willing to help you, if it means saving you and your group, I'll help in any way I can" Louis says. "Wow, brave?" I ask.

"Of course" Louis smiles. "I think you're just trying to be the knight in shining for her" Aasim says. "You'd do the same for Rub-"

"Shut up dude! It's annoying" Aasim says. "For who?" I ask. "It doesn't matter! Look, we're here now! Let's just... get food" Aasim says.

He takes out the bow and starts going toward some bushes. "What are you talking about?" I look at Louis. "Aasim has a little crush on Ruby, cute right?" Louis says.

"Awe! I think it's cute" I say, walking toward Aasim to help with hunting.

Louis's POV:

Huh... I didn't expect that response. I thought she'd look at me annoyed or say, "It's rude to just tell someone's secret", but she just laughed and said it was cute...

If I tell her I have a crush on her, would she think it's cute too?

Y/N's POV:

"So how do you do things?" I ask. "There's a bunch of rabbits around here, shake that bush and I'll try and shoot at one when they run" Aasim says.

I go over to the bush and wait for Aasim to give the 'go ahead'. He looks at me and nods. I begin to shake the bush around and two rabbits run out.

Aasim aims the bow at one and hits it directly in the head. "Nice!" I say. Aasim takes the arrow out and hold the rabbit.

"You wanna try?" Aasim ask. "Of course" I say. Aasim hands me the bow and the arrows. "Louis, why don't you help out?" Aasim suggests. "C'mon Louis! You can shake the bush this time" I say, jokingly.

Louis smiles and goes over to the bush. "Go ahead" I say. Louis begins to shake the bush and only one rabbit runs out.

I aim the bow carefully and hit the rabbit on the body. "Nice shot" Louis smirks. "Thank you!" I say.

I hand the rabbit and bow and arrow to Aasim. This isn't enough for everyone back at the school, we can keep hunting or you two can go and check on the girls. "I have things to do, I don't wanna stay out much longer" Louis says.

"Are they that important? We're getting food to feed everyone, I don't think there's anything much more important" I say. "It's important to me" Louis says.

"I'd love to hunt some more, but you two can head back" I say. "What about you?" Aasim asks. "Well, Aasim you need to take back the rabbits, and I doubt Louis will hold them, and I guess Louis has more important things to do" I say.

"Louis take back the rabbits and I'll go with Y/N" Aasim says. "Actually! I guess the thing I have to do isn't that important..." Louis says.

"I'll walk with Y/N, alone... to check if the girls have any food" Louis says. Good, because I honestly didn't even know where the fishing hut was, I just needed someone to come with me.

"We should start going now, maybe they need help too" Louis says. "Mhm! Okay!" I say. "I'll see you back at the school Aasim!" I wave and me and Louis begin walking.

Huh... I'm usually never that out going around people, I was definitely a lot more out going than I usually am. I guess I just have more confidence around these people! Which is great!

Me and Louis are alone now, there's no one else in sight. The only sound is the river we're walking beside, as the water flows down.

"So Y/N... remember when you said that Aasim having a crush on Ruby was cute?" Louis asks. "Of course, why?" I say. "Well..." Louis says, scratching the back of his neck.

"What if I have a crush on... ya know..."
